Here are the updated Clark to Baguio and Baguio to Clark Airport schedule and fare rates. Last Updated on August 21, 2024.

Hey fellow Baguio locals and everyone wondering how to get from Baguio to Clark Airport and vice versa.

Ryk and I often book flights originating from Clark. Aside from being near Baguio, the experience at the airport is better than that of NAIA. Plus, you get to avoid the heavy traffic in Manila. 

Reminder: Please note that the schedule can be subject to change without prior notice.

Clark Airport to Baguio

Clark to Baguio P2P (point to point) Bus

From Clark airport, you can ride a Genesis bus going directly to Baguio. 

• Joybus – 580 pesos
• Regular aircon – 470 pesos

Schedule is as follows:

• 8:00 AM – Joybus
• 11:00 AM – Regular Aircon
• 2:00 PM – Regular Aircon
• 5:30 PM – Joybus
• 7:30 PM – Regular Aircon

Terminals: In Clark Airport, you can find the buses at the Arrival area.

Baguio to Clark Airport

If you’re planning to go to Clark from Baguio, use this guide to help you commute. 

Baguio to Clark Airport P2P (point to point) Bus

When going to Clark via bus, you have two options. Either you ride a bus going directly to the airport or ride a bus stopping in Dau terminal, Pampanga. 

Let’s compare the two. 

As of this writing, Genesis Transport Service is the only bus offering direct transportation from Baguio to Clark airport.

Here’s the schedule:

• 4:15 AM – Regular Aircon
• 8:15 AM – Regular Aircon
• 10:15 AM – Joybus
• 12:15 PM – Joybus

Terminal: You can find the Genesis bus terminal in Gov. Pack just below SM City Baguio. 

Baguio To Clark Van

Aside from buses, you can also ride a van going directly to Clark Airport. You’ll be having one stopover.

You can find the van terminal near Rose Garden, Burnham behind Baliwag Lechon. Fare is P500 per person and travel time is around 3.5 to 4 hours via TPLEX. You can also find vans at Gov Pack parked in front of Andoks which will take you to the exact van terminal.

Baguio to Dau

Missed all the bus and vans mentioned above? Another option you have is to ride a bus to Dau terminal. Victory Liner and Genesis Transport has several buses going to Dau. 

Once in Dau, ride the jeep going to Clark Airport . Fare is P100 per person and you’ll have to wait until the jeep is full. 

If you’re in a hurry, you can ride a Grab Taxi from Dau terminal to Clark Airport. Fare is usually around P200. 

Dau Terminal to Baguio

You can also ride a jeepney or take a Grab taxi from Clark airport to Dau terminal. Then, you can choose to ride a Victory bus or a Genesis bus .

In Dau terminal, you can also ride a van to Baguio City. It’s near one of the terminal’s entrances.

HOW TO GET TO BAGUIO (From Manila, Clark, and La Union)

Baguio or the “City of Pines” is a popular weekend, holiday, and summer destination because of its cool weather throughout the year and many attractions. It is the go-to place for those who want to get away from the oppressive heat of the city or those who want to go somewhere on a whim.

Baguio has changed over the years, yet despite the many developments that occurred, it still has a charm that will keep drawing you back. The colorful Panagbenga Festival showcases the culture and colors of the region. The famous Session Road has plenty of shops, bars, cafes, and restaurants where you can eat, drink and be merry. Hang out at Burnham Park or Mines View Park to cool off and rest after exploring the city.

Camp John Hay is an old favorite that many tourists visit again and again whenever they are in Baguio. The US Army established the camp in 1903 as a place where they can relax and unwind. Fast forward to today, it is a popular attraction with plenty of things to do and see. You can try the Tree Top Adventure, see the Cemetery of Negativism, go to the Bell House and follow the Yellow Trail.

See the culture of the region with visits to Tam-Awan Village and the Ifugao Woodcarvers’ Village. Here you’ll discover the creativity of the locals through their artwork. BenCab Museum is another favorite destination while in the city. You’ll see the works by National Artist Benedicto Cabrera and other contemporary artists. Don’t leave without seeing the colorful and eye-catching Stobosa Houses – it’s technically not in Baguio but is only a short ride away. The city is also a possible jump-off point for hikes to Mt. Ulap and Mt. Pulag.

The travel time to Baguio has shortened over the years because of the many buses going there and road improvements over the years. If you’re interested in going, here are the routes you can take to the City of Pines.

WHAT'S IN THIS GUIDE?

How to Get to Baguio

From manila.

There are multiple buses that travel between Metro Manila and Baguio. Two of the most popular companies are Victory Liner and Joy Bus. The Victory Liner buses departing from Cubao costs P485 for regular aircon and P800 for first class. The latter has more legroom, a toilet inside, and has free water and snacks. The Victory Liner Pasay buses cost P496 for regular aircon and P800 for first class.

The Joy Bus departing from Cubao costs P720 for deluxe and P740 for premier class. Both have a toilet inside, snacks and Wi-Fi. Premier class has USB ports and entertainment devices. The bus that departs from Pasay costs P730 for deluxe and P760 for premier. The travel time is approximately 4 to 5 hours depending on traffic. We suggest traveling at night to have an extra full day in the city unless you are the type that enjoys long bus rides through the mountains and countryside.

Clark is becoming a go-to destination for those who are looking for an alternative airport to avoid the Manila traffic. However, it is also a place that offers more than a layover. You can spend a day or two seeing Clark’s attractions such as museums, the 4D Theater and the areas where the Americans used to have their base. You can also go on a day trip to Mt. Pinatubo to see the rugged landscape and marvel at the stunning crater lake.

After seeing some of the attractions in Clark, you can travel to Baguio. The City of Pines is accessible by public transportation from the former airbase. Your first stop is Dau Terminal. A taxi can take you there from anywhere in the city or you can take a jeep. Once in Dau, there are many buses bound for Baguio. The fare ranges from P340 to P460 depending on the company and class. The trip takes around three hours.

From La Union

La Union is a famous surfing destination during the right season. It also has a surfer vibe and laidback atmosphere where you can just hang out and meet people. There are also other attractions that will keep you busy during your visit. Some stops you can include are the Ma-Cho Temple and Tangadan Falls. Tangadan has a couple of spots where you can try cliff-diving.

You can extend your trip to Baguio after visiting La Union’s destinations. Go to Partas Terminal in San Fernando. Once there, ask around for the buses bound for Baguio. The fare is around P100 and the ride may take up to two hours.

Where to Stay in Baguio

Baguio City is a developed destination with several accommodations for all types of travelers. You can find budget and luxurious hotels during your stay. The ideal base for exploring the city is Burnham Park because many roads connect to it and it is within walking distance to transport terminals. Look for accommodation near the park or at least within a few minutes to it. Here are some of the best hotels in Baguio according to Agoda users, in no particular order.

Good news! Genesis Transport has resumed its Clark Airport to Baguio / Baguio to Clark Airport bus route! There are multiple daily trips but if your departure or arrival will not suit the bus schedule, you may also check out the Clark Airport – Dau route . From Dau, you can already take a bus going to different parts of Luzon.

How To Get from Clark to Baguio

By bus from clark to baguio.

If you want to get from Clark to Baguio by bus. There are buses leaving DAU during the day and even at night time. Victory Liner and Genesis are operating. So far based in our experience I like Genesis since Wifi usually works well during the trip.

Clark to Baguio travel time is 4-5 hours depending on the traffic especially when entering in Baguio. It can be less than 4 hours at night if there aren’t many bus stops. The bus fare from DAU to Baguio is 325 PHP .

Clark to Baguio bus schedule from DAU leaves every 1-2 hours during the day. from 6 am to 10 pm based our experience. Expect at night time maybe you will have to wait longer. But for sure a bus will come between midnight and 6 am going from Clark to Baguio with Genesis or Victory Liner.

Clark Airport to Baguio (P2P Clark to Baguio)

If you want to get from Clark airport to Baguio. There are also P2P Clark to Baguio services from SM Clark and from Clark International Airport .

There are different companies Genesis and Joy Bus doing the P2P Clark to Baguio route. The travel fare P2P Clark to Baguio is 420-500 PHP . The travel time will be between 3 hours and a half to 5 hours. It depends on the stops on the way or waiting time.

Clark to Baguio P2P schedule is every 3-4 hours starting from 4 am first service and last one at 10 pm from Clark airport to Baguio.

CLARK AIRPORT TO DAU

If you want to go from Clark Airport to DAU. The best way is by  Grab  or a taxi. It will take 15-20 minutes and expect to pay around  200 PHP  with Grab.

There are jeepneys going to DAU from Angeles City and tricycles. For a jeepney expect to pay  12 PHP  and for a tricycle ride to Angeles City from DAU around  120-150 PHP .

Clark to Baguio by Van (And Viceversa)

There are also vans available from Baguio to Clark airport. You will find them near Burnham Park. The exact point is between A Hotel Baguio and Green Valley Jeep Terminal. Ask around and they will point you where you can get the van going back to Clark. From Clark to Baguio by van you will get in DAU Bus Terminal.

The travel time Baguio to Clark by van will be around 3 hours or 3 hours and a half and the Baguio to Clark fare by van is 500 PHP . Clark to Baguio van schedule is every two hours from 10 am to 10 pm. But it can be leaving sooner or alter than that time!

Clark to Baguio by Car

Clark to Baguio distance is 160 kilometers. If you are going from Clark to Baguio with a private car. You can make it in 3 hours or 3 hours and a half depending on the traffic.

Where To Stay in Baguio

Located at  25-A Southdrive, Baguio City Proper , Iggy’s Inn remain on high demand because of its great value. The location is also near considerably near to  Camp John Hay and Botanical Garden.

BAGUIO HOLIDAYS VILLAS

Baguio Holiday Villas is interesting because it is very known for travelers. It is so near to  Burnham park , great for a morning stroll, and  Session road , great for shopping and eating.  Cash Withdrawal Machines  are available in the facility, saves you the hassle from finding one.

All rooms include a refrigerator, fan (because you don’t really need an air-conditioner that much in Baguio), shower, shared bathroom, and satellite/cable TV. A night in their  Standard Double Room  costs about  28 USD  including  free breakfast for 2 people . Wifi isn’t a problem, because all of the rooms have it.

GRAND SIERRA PINES BAGUIO

Surrounded by trees, Grand Sierra Pines Baguio is a  4-star  spacious hotel that surely amazes its guests. It is only a 1 3-minute drive  from  SM Baguio . The rooms available in the hotel are equipped with an air-conditioning unit, flat-screen TV, a safe, private bathroom and shower with free toiletries.

Also, there is a balcony and a seating area where you can relax, feel and savor the views of the mountain or the garden. There are also 2 dining site options in the hotel, that’s why the breakfast is really good. Travelers love the food served a lot.

NEW CLARK AIRPORT  to BAGUIO  Schedule
