Four Seasons Preferred FAQs

What is a four seasons preferred partner.

The Four Seasons Preferred program is an exclusive, invitation-only network of independent travel advisors, like our Fora Advisors . Travelers enjoy Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities only when they book through an agency or advisor (like Fora and Fora Advisors) belonging to the Preferred program.

What are the benefits of booking with a Four Seasons Preferred Partner?

Preferred Partner amenities vary between hotel properties, but — spoiler alert — travelers can expect nothing less than VIP treatment. Common Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities include complimentary breakfasts, room upgrades and hotel credits.

Booking with a Fora Advisor automatically grants you these exclusive perks and top-tier upgrades.

How do you get Four Seasons Preferred perks?

Easy! Book with a Fora Advisor and you’ll automatically access all available Four Seasons perks.

Can I get Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities by reserving directly? Do you have to book with a travel advisor?

Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits are only available when you book through an affiliated agent, like our Fora Advisors.

Is Four Seasons affiliated with Marriott?

Nope! The Four Seasons is not affiliated with Marriott, Hyatt or any other company. The Four Seasons is its own hotel group.

Which Four Seasons hotels and properties participate in the Preferred Partner program?

While the offered perks may vary, all Four Seasons hotels and resorts participate in the Preferred Partner program. Check in with a Fora Advisor to learn what perks are offered at your desired destinations.

Is there a way to maximize the value of a Four Seasons Preferred Partner stay? Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Your advisor will always make sure you get the best value, in accordance with your preferences, during your stay. Additionally, they can confirm whether your chosen hotel has any minimum stay requirements for Four Seasons Preferred Partner perks.

Where can I find the top Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers?

There’s no central place where you can find all the best Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers, and each hotel is in charge of its perks and rates.

A Fora Advisor can fill you in on Preferred Partner amenities available at the destinations you’re interested in, however.

Can Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities be added to existing reservations?

Yes. Speak with an advisor to learn more.

Is the Preferred Partner program the only way to get Four Seasons discounts?

The Four Seasons Preferred Partner rate is typically the best available. In rare cases where a better rate is available to you, perhaps as a loyalty reward, it’s still worth connecting with a Fora Advisor, as they will likely be able to supply additional perks on top of your discounted rate (not to mention expert travel advice).

How do you book a Four Seasons Preferred Partner rate?

Booking Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities and rates is as easy as chatting with a Fora Advisor. They can handle all the heavy lifting while you get excited about your trip.

The Complete Guide to Four Seasons Preferred Partner

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has become one of the most recognizable luxury hotel brands in the world. The company originated with a small footprint in Canada, but there are currently over 100 properties in their portfolio worldwide.

While Four Seasons doesn’t have a loyalty program for earning and redeeming points, and room rates are quite expensive, there’s still a way to squeeze extra value out of a stay.

This is accomplished by making a booking through the Four Seasons Preferred Partner program.

What Is Four Seasons Preferred Partner?

The Four Seasons Preferred Partner program incentivizes travellers to book Four Seasons hotels by offering additional benefits and perks at no extra cost.

While the program is available to everyone, you won’t be able to make these bookings on your own. Rather, booking a stay with Four Seasons Preferred Partner can only be done through an authorized travel advisor.

Every single Four Seasons property participates in the Preferred Partner program, and to further sweeten the deal, the price you pay is exactly the same as if you were to book with Four Seasons directly.

In fact, unlike other similar programs, such as Virtuoso or Marriott STARS , the Four Seasons Preferred Partner program can be combined with any available rate, such as prepaid and promotional rates, and not just flexible rates.

Note that you can also book Four Seasons Private Retreats through Preferred Partner. Private Retreats offer up villas and residences at 27 different properties, where you can enjoy more space during your travels.

four seasons travel agent login

Book a hotel stay with Prince of Travel through Four Seasons Preferred Partner and enjoy exclusive additional benefits at no cost to you, including:

  • Daily breakfast for two guests, including in-room dining
  • Room upgrade, subject to availability at check-in
  • $100 (USD) property credit for room bookings; $200 (USD) property credit for suite bookings
  • Special offers combinable with Preferred Partner benefits
  • Third, Fourth, Fifth, or Sixth Night Free at select properties

What Are the Benefits of Booking Through Four Seasons Preferred Partner?

The benefits you receive when booking through Four Seasons Preferred Partner differ depending on the property. Generally speaking, you can expect to receive:

  • Complimentary breakfast for two, per room
  • A $100 (USD) property credit for room bookings or a $200 (USD) property credit for suite bookings
  • One-category room upgrade

Additional benefits that may be offered at select properties include early check-in and late check-out, which is subject to availability, as well as a Third, Fourth, or Fifth Night Free.

Complimentary breakfast offered through Preferred Partner is unique, in that you can choose to eat in the hotel’s restaurant, or in the comfort of your room with in-room dining.

Furthermore, the breakfast is for two people per room , so if you book a Four Seasons Private Retreat or a suite with multiple bedrooms for more than two guests, then more people would be eligible for the complimentary breakfast.

How to Maximize Value with Four Seasons Preferred Partner

If you’d like to book a stay at a luxurious Four Seasons hotel, you’ll want to leverage Preferred Partner benefits with a few other opportunities to make sure that you’re getting the best value possible.

Combine Four Seasons Preferred Partner with Promotional Offers

Aside from the standard Preferred Partner perks, each Four Seasons hotel may offer its own additional benefits. In order to find out if any are available, simply search for your desired Four Seasons hotel, and click on “Offers”.

For example, if you book a stay of at least four nights at the Four Seasons Whistler until April 9, 2023, you’ll receive the Fifth Night Free.

Other public offers may include late check-out, discounts on weekday stays, and extra hotel credits. Any of these additional inclusions can be combined with the benefits offered through Four Seasons Preferred Partner.

Therefore, you should always check for available public offers, in order to see what can stack with the Preferred Partner benefits.

Book Shorter Stays

As hotel credits are only given once per stay, no matter how long your stay is, you’ll get the most relative value out of this specific benefit if you book a shorter stay.

Note that making multiple consecutive bookings will still only count as one stay for the purpose of receiving the $100 or $200 (USD) credit.

Compare with Virtuoso and Amex FHR

Many Four Seasons hotels can also be booked through Virtuoso or American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts (FHR) . Through both programs, you’ll receive similar benefits as if you were to book with Four Seasons Preferred Partner.

Below is a table that summarizes the similarities and differences between Preferred Partner, Virtuoso, and Amex FHR.

The main difference is that the $100 or $200 (USD) credit benefit through the Preferred Partner program can be more flexible. It’s not limited to just the spa or the restaurant, as the credits offered through Virtuoso or Amex FHR might be, but can rather be used for any on-site amenity.

Furthermore, only suites booked through Preferred Partner are eligible for a $200 (USD) credit. Suites booked through Virtuoso or Amex FHR only receive a $100 (USD) credit.

Another difference is that the complimentary breakfast offered through Four Seasons Preferred Partner can be enjoyed in your room or in the restaurant, whereas in-room dining is usually excluded as an option through Virtuoso or Amex FHR.

Keep in mind, however, that Amex FHR offers guaranteed 4pm late check-out, whereas Preferred Partner doesn’t provide late check-out in any capacity as a standard benefit. Rather, each individual hotel may include it on a promotional basis.

Lastly, Four Seasons hotels generally prioritize upgrades for bookings made through its own Preferred Partner, compared to the other two booking channels.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts make up some of the most luxurious properties in the world. To help you get the most out of your stay, Four Seasons Preferred Partner adds additional value at no extra cost.

Booking through this program affords you extra perks, including hotel credits, room upgrades, and complimentary breakfast, along with other benefits offered by individual hotels.

If you have dreams of celebrating a special occasion at a Four Seasons hotel, or even if you’re a frequent visitor at any of their properties, make sure to get the best deal by booking with a Four Seasons Preferred Partner travel advisor.

Four Seasons doesn’t have a dedicated loyalty program in the same way that Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt do. Ultimately, the brand’s best selling point is the Four Seasons experience, which is clearly enough to keep droves of travelers swarming to stay at their properties.

There’s no such thing as Four Seasons points or elite status tiers. But it’s still possible to enjoy elite-like benefits on Four Seasons stays, made possible by Four Seasons Preferred Partner.

Four Seasons Preferred Partner is an invitation-only program for travel agencies to offer travelers who book through them lots of perks and amenities.

In this guide, we’ll show you what to expect from Four Seasons Preferred Partner bookings, as well as how you can maximize these bookings for the best benefits and experiences possible.

Lastly, we’ll walk you through our favorite properties that are known to have exclusive offers for even more value.

Four Seasons Preferred Partner bookings can be made at any Four Seasons property .

This is in stark contrast with other programs like Marriott STARS , Hilton Impresario , and Hyatt Privé , which only offer enhanced perks to specific brands like St. Regis, The Ritz-Carlton, and Park Hyatt.

What Benefits Do I Get When Booking Through Four Seasons Preferred Partner?

The benefits you receive when booking through a Four Seasons Preferred Partner will vary from property to property.

However, most of the benefits are consistent:

  • Daily full breakfast for 2 people per bedroom, served in a hotel restaurant or through In-Room Dining
  • Hotel or resort credit of $100 to $200 per stay (guest rooms receive $100 while suites, specialty suites, and private retreats receive $200)
  • Upgrade of one category (based on availability at time of check-in)
  • Complimentary standard Wi-Fi in all guest rooms and premium Wi-Fi in all suites
  • Welcome note at check-in

For example, the Four Seasons Hotel Beijing offers guaranteed late checkout at 4 p.m., while the Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff, Johannesburg offers early check-in and late checkout (subject to availability).

You can reach out to UP’s very own Leigh Rowan at [email protected] who can help book your upcoming Four Seasons trip, and get access to extra perks (room upgrades, $100 credit, complimentary daily breakfast and more)

One of the most popular ways to book Four Seasons stays is through American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts , which conveys these perks:

  • Daily breakfast for 2 people
  • Room upgrade upon arrival, when available
  • Noon check-in, when available
  • Guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi
  • Special amenity unique to each property valued at a minimum of $100, such as a food and beverage credit, a spa credit, or a property credit

The main benefit of Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts is that these perks can be accessed by anybody who holds a Platinum-tiered card or higher, including The Platinum Card ® from American Express ,  The Business Platinum Card ® from American Express , and the  Centurion ® Card from American Express .

Keep in mind that you will often see price increases relative to the best available rate that Four Seasons offers when booking direct.

Breakfast Benefits

The biggest discrepancy in the breakfast benefit is that Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts only offers daily breakfast for 2 people, while Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers daily breakfast for 2 people per bedroom .

If you’re booking a multi-room suite or villa, you’ll have more people covered under Four Seasons Preferred Partner’s breakfast benefit.

The other benefit of Four Seasons Preferred Partner is that your complimentary breakfast extends to in-room dining, in addition to the hotel’s restaurant, so room service is included.

Four Seasons Preferred Partner upgrades are prioritized higher than those through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, so your upgrade chances are higher.

Early Check-in and Late Checkout

The main drawback of Four Seasons Preferred Partner bookings relative to Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts is that early check-in and late checkout are not standard benefits.

Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts offers guaranteed late checkout and early check-in (subject to availability).

Using a Travel Agent

Lastly, stays through Four Seasons Preferred Partner are generally more personalized because you’re making your booking through an agent that has a connection to the hotel you’re staying at.

With Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, eligible cardholders have the ability to get benefits without going through a special travel agent.

Bottom Line: Four Seasons Preferred Partner stays are generally cheaper than Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts. In addition, your odds of getting an upgrade are higher with Four Seasons Preferred Partner, and the breakfast benefit includes 2 people per bedroom booked and extends to room service. Lastly, Four Seasons Preferred Partner stays have a higher potential to be customized.

How To Book a Four Seasons Preferred Partner Rate

You can’t book a Four Seasons Preferred Partner rate by yourself — you need to contact a travel advisor or agent that is a Four Seasons Preferred Partner.

Let’s take a look at all of the terms and conditions of Four Seasons Preferred Partner:

There is no minimum stay requirement, so you can get Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits on 1-night or 1-month stays!

In general, you will pay the same as the publicly available rate on the Four Seasons website!

This is great news because almost all rates available directly with Four Seasons are eligible for Four Seasons Preferred Partner amenities.

In contrast, some programs require you to book the standard flexible rate, which may be hundreds of dollars per night more than the cheapest direct rate.

It depends. In some cases, Four Seasons Preferred Partners can help you get these benefits honored on your reservation, especially if the booking was made directly on the Four Seasons website.

It never hurts to reach out!

Unlike Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, you don’t need to make a booking with a specific card to get Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits.

To earn the best rewards, we recommend using the Chase Sapphire Reserve ® or the Ink Business Preferred ® Card , both of which earn 3x points on travel.

The 14 Best Four Seasons Properties for Four Seasons Preferred Partner Benefits [Promotional Offers Included]

Not all Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers are created equal. Some properties promote exclusive offers specifically to Four Seasons Preferred Partners that can sweeten the deals.

At a high level, these typically consist of guaranteed upgrades, extra experiences, complimentary ground transfers, and extra resort credits.

Lastly, these offers can change from time to time, so be sure to reach out to your travel advisor to inquire about the state of these offers.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley

One of the newest properties to grace the Four Seasons portfolio is the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley. Suites start at 1,834 square feet large with a king bed, Ayung River Valley views, and exotic furnishings. The rooms include high-end bedding, an HDTV, tea and coffee machines, and 2 outdoor terraces.

The marble bathroom is outfitted with a rain shower, bathrobes, slippers, Loto del Sur products, and single vanity.

The property has 1 restaurant, which is open all day for dining, signature Colombian coffee, or artisanal cocktails. Of course, room service is easily arranged, too.

The entry-level tent is 581 square feet large with 1 king bed or 2 twin beds available — sweeping views of Myanmar and the mountains or the jungle and Golden Triangle are yours here.

Rustic, safari-esque furnishings are placed in the room, whose cornerstone furnishing is the plush king bed with mosquito sheers. What’s truly special, though, is the outdoor deck , fully furnished with incredible views.

The bathroom is integrated with the bedroom and includes a soaking tub, double vanities, a water closet, and an outdoor shower .

Standard rooms are 732 square feet large with a king bed or 2 twin beds. The sliding windows open into landscaped gardens , but staying inside isn’t so bad either, whether you’re getting work done at your desk, watching a movie, or just relaxing in the assorted sitting areas.

There’s a full marble bathroom here with an indoor walk-in rain shower, an outdoor hammam-style terrazzo bathtub, double vanities, and lots of closet space.

Choose from casual Mediterranean bites, refined Malay cuisine, fresh local seafood and flame-grilled steaks, or Middle Eastern snacks and cocktails.

The spa and gym are among the popular facilities here, as are the pools, private beach , tennis court , and beach activities! Other excursions can be arranged with your concierge, too.

This is one of the most affordable Four Seasons resort properties out there, starting at $250 per night during the rainy season. However, average rates are around $500 per night, while peak rates can go up to $925 per night.

  4. Why It Pays To Book Four Seasons With A Travel Agent

What's odd is that Australian hotels are required to advertise "all-in" hotel rates, while online travel agencies can display prices without taxes and fees. That same hotel booked directly with Four Seasons cost 277AUD including everything. That brought the total to 1,109AUD, or 745USD. That's exactly the same rate.
