New Order Reveal Four U.S. Dates in March 2023

Now that UK legends New Order were finally able to tour America with Pet Shop Boys on the pandemic-delayed Unity tour last year, the band just can't get enough of the United States. Bernard Sumner and company are already set for a return trip to this side of the Atlantic in March.

The main event: this year's South By Southwest event in Austin, Texas, with New Order performing at some point between March 13-18. Details for the group's appearance in Austin have yet to be revealed, but are forthcoming as festival announcements are made in the weeks ahead.

With the band coming to America for SXSW, they've scheduled four headlining shows in the area to round out the trip: "We are delighted to announce four shows in North America this March throughout Texas and in New Orleans, LA," New Order shared on the band's official website .

Tickets will be available via pre-sale from 01/28 at 10am local using the code TRUEFAITH. General sale begins 02/03 at 10am Local. See the dates below.

The tour announcement comes just two days before New Order is set to release the Definitive Edition of the band's third full-length studio effort, LOW-LIFE .

They're back in the United States! English music icons New Order recently announced that they're going back to the country to perform at a few concerts including an appearance at the 2023 South By Southwest Music Festival, also known as SXSW; are they going to a city near you?

According to NME , the Manchester-based group will be heading to America in March for a short tour that will kick off at The Factory in Deep Ellum in Dallas, Texas, on March 9.

Taking to their official Twitter account , the band expressed their excitement over the upcoming shows, writing, "We are delighted to announce four shows in North America this March throughout Texas and in New Orleans."

For fans who wanted to see them perform live, tickets will be available via pre-sale starting on January 28 at 10 a.m. local time using the code "TRUFAITH." Passes will be accessible by the general public on February 3 at 10 a.m. local.

New Order Updates

Aside from being one of the most legendary bands in the United Kingdom, the band is also known for having a kind heart as they recently dropped a t-shirt line to support the mental health group, CALM.

Inspired by "Blue Monday," designers Peter Saville based the merchandise's design on the group's song of the same name, originally released in 1983.

For every purchase, all proceeds will directly go to Campaign Against Living Miserably. For fans who wanted to get their hands on the said product, the t-shirt is available to pre-order  until February 17.

New Order issued a statement regarding the collaboration with CALM, saying they are proud to be ambassadors for the group and honored to be using their old song to "help raise awareness for the brilliant work they do to support millions of people struggling with their mental health."

This isn't the first time the band made a big move about mental health. Last year, Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris discussed mental health and suicide prevention in Parliament amid Ian Curtis' 42nd death anniversary.

Curtis, who died at the age of 23, passed away  on May 18, 1980.

Impresionante! Nuevamente New Order revalidando su amor por Buenos Aires y que es uno de los grupos electro pop más grandes y revolucionarios de todos los tiempos! Empezó tranquilo hasta la mitad del show pero después la descontrolaron toda con un sonido actual y magnífico! Fueron 2 horas y 15 minutos de pleno deleite bailable digno de verlos en un show privado en The Hacienda en los años 80 en pleno apogeo de Madchester! Excelente!

The show was electric, sold out show. It felt like I was seeing them for the first time, the last time was 20 plus years ago at Red Rocks Ampatheatre in Denver, CO. The show had a mix of joy division and New Order. Great set of music ending with Love Will Tear Us Apart. Great memories and a show I will never forget.

I spent much of the 80's listening to New Order. I bought "Blue Monday" because the cover was (and still is) very cool. I think it was my first 12" single. Their early albums were minimalist synth-driven pop tunes reflecting lonliness and angst. Perfect for a Bay-Area kid trapped in Texas.

And so I keep seeing them live hoping for a reboot of punchy bass, keyboard hooks and crunchy giuitar, and every time they disappoint.

Friday night Lucy once again viciously yanked the football from this hopeful Charlie Brown.

The pre-band music was a DJ playing an unidentifiable mix of drum-n-bass crap where all you could really hear was the ... well, drum-n-bass.

The opening band was Politica, whom I could not really pay attention to because we were holding GA seats for my niece and her friends. I was stressing because trying to hold seats at the Greek is like reserving spots in an Elementary School playground. There are cement benches with spray-painted numbers 'suggesting' seat assignments. We had a blanket spread but for some reason that did not stop the neighbors from gradually pushing it aside.

But, I digress.

New Order opened with a song I did not know. The song did continue with the mind-numbing disco beat of the DJ. They had decided this was a dance party. They played several songs from the part of their career I had stopped following, but every song had the accompanying disco drumbeat mixed way over the other instruments.

I said fuck it and fired up "Pokemon-Go" on my phone.

After all was said and done they had played 4 songs I knew and a stack-o-crap from their 90's catalog.

Stay tuned for next Friday's review of "Peter Hook and the Light" which promises to be the 'anti-New Order' remedy for this crappy band.

The "We'll All Be Here Forever Tour" will kick off in Vancouver on March 26 and run through Canada for three weeks. After that point, Kahan will start the US portion of his show in Asheville, NC, on May 20 and tour until his final US performance in Boston, MA, on July 19. Original standard tickets for several – but not all – of Noah Kahan's tour dates have sold out through Ticketmaster . You can still purchase some original standard tickets through the website and its Live Nation affiliate. Noah Kahan tickets are also available through resale websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats . 

How much are Noah Kahan tickets?

Noah Kahan's "We'll All Be Here Forever Tour" prices vary by date, location, and stadium or arena size. Of the original standard tickets still available , the cheapest start at $109.50 (Los Angeles, CA on June 21). Most of the cheapest remaining original standard tickets start at around $250-$350. 

StubHub's  cheapest tickets range from $116 (Québec, Canada, on April 10) to $3,644 (Boston, MA, on July 19). For the most part, Noah Kahan resale tickets on StubHub tend to go for around $200 to $400. Vivid Seats prices tend to be a bit lower on those dates, with the cheapest tickets starting at $68 and $664, respectively.

Who is opening for Noah Kahan's tour?

Not all of Noah Kahan's opening acts have been announced yet, but he'll be joined by Mt. Joy later in the tour. The indie rock band is scheduled to perform at Kahan's Boston dates on July 18 and 19.
