We Are Driven. Door to door community transport.

Driven is a charitable door to door transport scheme supporting vulnerable and isolated people in the Wigan Borough.

Driven helps to provide essential transport solutions for passengers who don’t have access to a car and are unable to travel on public transport.

Our passengers rely on our service to help them remain independent and engaged with the services, places and people who are important to their continued wellbeing.

Our amazing volunteers benefit from helping the charity immensely. They can see they are making a difference with every journey they deliver.

The families of our passengers can enjoy some respite from caring responsibilities, trusting our drivers to provide care and companionship for their loved ones.

Our range of multipurpose vehicles provide community groups, sheltered schemes and care homes with accessible and affordable transport options to get out and about.

AWAY TRAVEL

Tickets and coach travel for all wigan warriors away games are listed below:, castleford tigers – mend-a-hose jungle. saturday 17th february (5:30pm k.o.).

Official Club Travel is available for this game run by Tyrers Coaches.

Coaches will depart from Robin Park Arena on Saturday 17 February at 2pm and tickets can be purchased  HERE .

Active Outdoors walks and cycle rides

Our Active Outdoors team is here to get you moving with over 150 walking, running and cycling sessions every month.

Our bike library allows you to loan bikes, helmets, locks and other cycling equipment absolutely FREE of charge.

Gearing Up Cycle Workshop

• Recycle unloved & unwanted bikes
• Support and train people into employment, learning new practical skills
• Sell low cost / affordable bikes – promoting healthy lifestyles, travel to work and reduction in congestion
• Free Dr Bike sessions

Our fun, family friendly cycle event is held twice per year and provides a wide range of cycle opportunities for people of all ages to cycle in a safe, traffic free environment.

Walking and Cycling Forum

The Wigan Borough Walking and Cycling Forum has been created to provide a platform for communication and collaboration between the public, voluntary and community organisations, businesses and charities and Wigan Council to work in partnership to support and develop opportunities for increased participation in Walking and Cycling within Wigan.

The forum is used as a platform to provide and discuss topics such as Bee Network/MCF Active Travel Schemes, Active Neighbourhoods, MCF Activation, Walking and Cycling sessions/events and other related topics. Who are we?

Birth of WAFCTSC (Wigan Athletic FC Travel And Supporters' Club): From Question to Reality After the simple yet powerful question, "Would it be possible to use Eavesway coaches to travel to away fixtures?" a spark was ignited among our passionate fanbase. What started as a question evolved into a collective vision, and from that vision emerged our very own Wigan Athletic FC Travel and Supporters' club (WAFCTSC). Conversations turned into actions, meetings were held, plans were drawn, and the groundwork was laid. We met up with Wigan Athletic FC officers who welcomed the prospect of there being another supporters club offering an alternative travel plan to away matches. An approach was made to Eavesway Travel (locally owned and highly rated travel company) to supply executive coaches. We held a successful inaugural public meeting in February 2023 - read the Wigan Today report here - to gauge the interest in forming this new club. WAFCTSC is now an officially constituted club with formally recognised banking arrangements. We have been granted official authorisation to use the Club’s badge and crest. We have also been given permission to use the Whelan Bar as our home base. Join us for pre-match gatherings before every home game. We are also a recognised and active member of The Football Supporters Association (FSA).

Flight Tracking

Corporate customers.

If your flight is early or subject to delays, we will track your flight’s progress and send your taxi driver at the new expected time of arrival. Again, this is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. There’s no need to be sitting on your flight worrying that you will not be getting picked up – everything is taken care of for you.

A lot of our work is private based so if you are booking a corporate airport hire for other people you need not worry, we will give them the professional and high-quality service that they would expect. Receipts can be provided via hard copy or digital copy.
