By Sorrel Moseley-Williams
Latin America’s most cultural city, Buenos Aires, is packed with tours, from arts and design to personal shopping and fascinating street art. Shop Hop shares an address book bursting with leather tailors and designers who can whip up jackets in 24 hours, the Pope Tour offers a close-up of Jorge Mario Bergoglio's life before he became Francis I, and much, much more.
Shop Hop Buenos Aires Arrow
This is a private offering, and can be a walking tour or in a vehicle, depending on your budget (there are also group tours). What's key is that each tour is made to measure, like the jacket or purse you might acquire.
Parrilla Tour Arrow
Carnivores unite, as this group walking tour will leave you stuffed and ready for a siesta. Groups of around 12 diners gather at a designated meeting point, one of three steakhouses to be visited. You definitely need to reserve.

Art lovers will want to sign up for this private tour, which includes one-on-one time with a guide who's plugged in and introduces you to buyers, curators, and gallerists along the way. BA Free Tour Arrow
This tour has both a homespun and professional feel at the same time, and if you just landed in BA, this is a great "free" option to get in on. There are a number of tours around the city, so visitors have the option of getting familiar with several neighborhoods.
BA Bikes Arrow
Headquartered at the BA Bikes office and workshop, this is a slick operation dealing in numerous tours in different neighborhoods every day. The South tour is tempting, thanks to the big-hitting sights on the map, but you can also take a private bike tour or go over to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay for the day. Reservations required.
0.54 Fileteado Art Tour Arrow
On this tour, walking around this vibrant barrio and hearing the tango tales gave great insight into the Abasto neighborhood. With a bilingual guide leading us through the colorful streets, pointing out relevant fileteado —curvy stylized artwork—and sites along the way, one key stop includes visiting the time-warped home of legendary tango crooner Carlos Gardel.
Graffitimundo Street Art Origins Tour Arrow
Book ahead for a space on this group street-art tour run by Graffitimundo, a slick operation led by young bilingual guides plugged into the local scene. The two-hour walking tour, which draws visitors from all corners of the world, kicks off at a meeting point specific to your tour, though on any of the three, you can expect insight into recent Argentine history and the sociopolitical influences driving the city's art scene.
Foto Ruta Buenos Aires Arrow
Wannabe Leibovitzes gather for this fascinating tour, organized by photographers who want to show you elements of Buenos Aires through a lens. Take a group or private tour, and enhance your photo skills while focusing on architecture, food, or street art. You'll need to book ahead, even for the iPhoneography workshop, where you snap the city with your cell.
BA Tours, Barrios Futboleros – Rivalidades Históricas Arrow

Iguassu & Beyond
This is a great tour that gets you to those must see place in South America . I do think more could be spent in some places, such as Paraty and Ilha Grande as there should be time available for relaxing as well as doing tours. The accommodation was adequate and were centrally located with the breakfast being generally basic. One thing to bear in mind in the luggage restriction when going to the falls - G tend to be conservative with their approach and say 15kg but this is subject to change depending on the flights and airline they book with- it is worth checking with them. Our tour guide, Flor, was truly awesome! Great at organising, fun to hang out with and helping with food orders (language) - would love to tour with Flor again! (Angel)
4-Day Best of Buenos Aires Tour
We very much enjoyed our 4 Day Best of BA tour & the additional Gaucho Day at Don Silvano Ranch. We felt that we got a very good sampling of BA in the short amount of time we had to spend there. Our guides were excellent and we would recommend this tour to friends.

Brazil and Argentina with Iguazu Falls 4 Star
Wanderful Holidays tour company did an excellent job for us. When we arrived at Iguazu Falls, we realized we were missing one of our suitcases. It turns out, Aerolineas Argentinas had lost our suitcase. Your customer service representatives went above and beyond in assisting us and trying to help us locate our suitcase. They even had a representative go to the airport to track our suitcase down. Although, it was ultimately Aerolineas Argentinas that located and returned our suitcase, I still want to commend and recognize the wonderful customer service your team provided us during a stressful time in a foreign country. Thank you very much!
Buenos Aires and Uruguay – 3 Nights
Buenos Aires & Colonia del Sacramento
Argentina & Brazil Adventure
This was a really good trip - small group, entertaining leader, lots of fun. I'd suggest to arrive early to spend a bit more time in Buenos Aires. The best part was Iguazu Falls. We got to spend ample time at both sides of the Falls, which was fantastic as each side provided different views. Arraial do Cabo was a nice surprise - we were the only foreign tourists there so it was a more "authentic" experience. And of course Rio was as beautiful as I expected.
Premium Argentina & Brazil
Action-packed sightseeing of amazing waterfalls, great food and beautiful beaches. Hotels were wonderful and nice and the team was very organized
5-Day Buenos Aires Luxury Tour
Amazing Buenos Aires
Bus Trip to Iguazu from Buenos Aires
You are never going to experience anything like Iguazu Falls anywhere else in the world. This was such an incredible trip. We started out at the bus station in Buenos Aires. The bus ride took about 17 hours to get to Iguazu. This seems like a rough trip but it was surprisingly comfortable. We were served wine, we watched movies, talked to other travelers, all in very comfortable seats that folded out into comfortable recliner beds. Once we got there, we were accommodated very well in a comfortable and fun hostel. People from all over were so friendly and the hostel even hosted fun game nights and delicious dinners. The national park was out of this world. I cant even begin to describe how breathtaking this place is. Our tour guide told us everything we wanted to know about everything Iguazu and even let us pick some routes. The sites are incredible, you can't miss this.
4 Days Discovery @ Buenos Aires
I recommend the company and the tour to everyone. The guide, Laura, was excellent, very friendly and informative. Congratulations!

What people love about Buenos Aires Tours
The G adventure tour is excellent. The trip was great because of excellent program and great CEO from G adventure. Starting from Buenos Arias, everything is planned and taking care of. We had excellent weather, a great group of adventure minded people. Val (our CEO from G adventure) communicated everything ahead of time and making sure everyone's needs were met. The sighs and hiking were great. Val reserved dinner for the group almost everyday so we could have fun after a hard day of hiking. All in all, a trip to remember.

Small Group Gaucho Day Tour to an Argentinian Ranch
Quick Details
- Hour Glass Duration: 9 Hours
- Calendar Availability: Daily
- Checkmark Tour Type: Small Group Public Tour
Explore the countryside of Buenos Aires and learn all about the gauchos and ranch life on the Pampas in an exciting full-day tour that includes visits to a historical rural town and silversmith museum, visits to a ranch, loads of food and wine, dancing, horseback-riding, gaucho horse skills display, and convenient pick-up and drop-off at your hotel/Airbnb/cruise port.
Tour the countryside and visit a typical Argentinian ranch:
In this exciting and fun-filled full-day tour our team of reliable and professional drivers and very passionate, informative, knowledgeable, and helpful tour guides with excellent English skills will take you in a small group of no more than 12 guests on an epic adventure into the world of the Gauchos (The men of the Pampas) and show you the beauties of Argentina’s countryside.
This tour is a good opportunity to get out of the city of Buenos Aires and into the Pampas (the vast flatlands of Argentina) to live a variety of unique experiences that complement what you can see and do in the capital city.
After hotels pick-up, you will leave Argentina’s largest city behind and dive into a completely different world on the way to San Antonio de Areco, a small town dating back to 1730 known as “the cradle of culture and tradition” in Argentina.
The drive out to the Pampas will go quickly as your tour guide will fill in details of life in Argentina and what to expect at the town and the ranch, bringing the landscape around to life with their live commentary providing history, geography, cultural facts, and information.
Once in Areco, you will get off the vehicle and visit the Draghi museum which is family-run and operated, featuring some of the best silversmiths in the world. This is the perfect place to learn about Latin American silverwork and get a deep understanding of the gaucho’s particular dress style and working tools.
After your visit, you will get back to the vehicle and head off to the ‘estancia’ (ranch), a beautiful and large property that operates as a farm focusing mainly on cattle-breeding and grain-growing.
Upon arrival at a ranch , you will be greeted with joy by the gauchos and served with welcome drinks and some of the best ’empanadas’ (local pasties) you will eat in the entire world.
You will also have time to try some laid-back completely suitable for beginners horseback-riding or wagon-riding guided by the gauchos ensuring each rider’s safety, or if you prefer spend this pre-lunch time wandering around the ranch, enjoying the beautiful scenery and taking pictures.
We strongly suggest you “come to this tour hungry” as for lunch you will be treated to a real Argentinean meat feast featuring the national dish: asado . You will be served a wide variety of grilled beef cuts, sausages, and other local treats, altogether with chimichurri sauce, salads, bread, and freely flowed wine (if you are vegan/vegetarian no need to worry as they also offer meat-less and vegan alternatives). Dessert does not fall behind featuring different options served along with a cup of coffee (very much needed to stay up and engaged after so much food).
The afternoon begins with a display of singing and dancing from folk who live in this region, very different from Tango (found in the city), and if you are confident enough you can also give it a try and learn a couple of dancing moves to impress your friends and family when going back home.
To wrap up such a wonderful and authentic Argentine experience, one of the gauchos will delight you with a demonstration of how he tames his horse and the confidence they have in each other in an unconventional horse whispering demonstration that is guaranteed to keep you spellbound. Without a doubt, the highlight of this tour.

This tour was a lot of fun. There were a number of different activities to enjoy throughout the day and yet it felt like a laid-back outing with friends. The food at the Estancia was plentiful and delicious. Florencia, Augustine, and our driver Jorge were excellent hosts. We highly recommend this trip!
We did 4 tours over our trip to Santiago and Buenos Aires and this was hands down the best experience for our family of 10. First off we had Pablo as our tour guide for the full day and he was nothing short of fantastic. His knowledge of Argentina as a whole and his comfort with our family which included 4 kids under 15 was amazing. The horseback riding was perfect for our family as many had never done it before so it gave you a great taste of what it was like without major risks. The lunch was a true Argentinian meat-eating experience outside under the shade of the huge trees. All I will say is come hungry. Wonderful day and would recommend this to anyone touring Argentina for the first time.
A perfect day on the pampas! We thoroughly enjoyed this visit to a local ranch to ride, eat delicious barbecue, enjoy some wine, and watch the gauchos perform amazing tricks on horseback! A must-do afternoon for anyone visiting Buenos Aires.
What an amazing day. From we were picked up in the morning from our hotel by Julieta, from signature tours, until we got back to our hotel this evening, we felt we were in great hands. Julieta gave us lots of information about the city and about the surrounding area as we left Buenos Aires and headed out to the ranch. The rain didn't spoil our day at this wonderful working ranch. We went horseriding, had some wine and lots of food, and were entertained by the Gaucho cowboys. We laughed and danced into the afternoon... This is a must for anyone travelling to Buenos aires.
Don’t miss this informative and fun-filled day! My son and I just returned from the trip and I just can’t say enough about the entire experience. Signature Tours provided a comfortable and immaculate vehicle with a super knowledgeable guide named Enrique. Enrique did an excellent job providing history, geography, cultural facts, and information. The tour at Draghi was very interesting and we met the silversmith and his wife. At the beautiful ranch, the horseback riding was great fun (Option to ride in a horse and buggy for those not interested in riding), the food was AMAZING and the music and dance were special. Overall, I would have given this 10 stars if possible.
