7 Amazing Day Trips From Hue, Vietnam
Famous for its ancient architecture, poetic scenery, and iconic pagodas, Hue is the kind of place where you’ll want to spend a few days exploring. It’s also a great base to visit the surroundings. Here are my favorite day trips from Hue with excellent tips.
Phong Nha national park
Phong Nha National Park is one of my favorite day trips from Hue. This place is home to hundreds of large and small caves, meandering rivers, and majestic mountains.
Walking inside Phong Nha cave , you’ll see beautiful stones and impressive underground lakes. Don’t forget to bring a jacket when going there as it’s a tad bit cold.
Also, don’t miss Paradise Cave , a dry cave with stalagmites and stalactites illuminated by colorful lights.
Tips : You can join a day tour from Hue to either Phong Nha Cave or Paradise Cave. The tour includes transportation, lunch, and a tour guide, so you’ll have an expert leading the way.
Dark Cave is another adventurous experience. Having no artificial lighting installed, you’ll have to squish through the muddy path using only your head torch to illuminate.
You then walk back out to the entrance and try kayaking on the Chay River. Zipline is my favorite game here, in which you can slide the zipline and plunge into freshwater.
Vinh Moc tunnels, Quang Tri
Vinh Moc tunnels are the miniaturized image of a deep underground village. On the way to Vinh Moc as a part of the DMZ tour from Hue , you can admire the beauty of nature and many coffee farms.
Made of clay, the tunnel can be a bit slippery, so be careful! When going deep under the ground, you’ll see a museum that provides insight into local lives during the Vietnam War.
You also can take pictures or film your adventure into the ground.
In addition to Vinh Moc tunnels, the DMZ tour will also take you to Khe Sanh Combat Base, the outpost of the United States Marine Corps.
If you travel by bike, you can stop by Con Co Island off the coast from Vinh Moc. It’s an important point of the Ho Chi Minh trail on the sea as most supplies were moved to the island via the tunnels.
Bach Ma National Park
For those who love trekking and hiking, don’t miss your trip to Bach Ma Mountain.
Bach Ma National Park is charming with streams, lakes, and waterfalls and is a natural habitat for many rare creatures.
Important species like white-cheeked gibbon, and red-shanked douc langur reside in this park.
To admire the shimmering beauty of Rhododendron Falls (Do Quyen Falls in Vietnamese), you must walk past Five Lakes , where you can stop for lunch and bathing.
Don’t miss Hai Vong Dai Peak , the highest point in Bach Ma National Park, where you can view Lang Co Bay, Truoi Lake, and the mountain range hidden in the clouds.
Also, stop by Truc Lam Bach Ma Zen Monastery ! While taking a boat to Truc Lam Monastery, you can see the majestic sight of the Shakyamuni Buddha statue sitting in a meditating posture.
If you love hiking or trekking, I highly recommend joining the Bach Ma trekking day tour . Challenge yourself with the trails of Bach Ma National Park and enjoy the great outdoors!
Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Hoi An is an amazing day trip from Hue. Wandering around the city, you can visit museums, stunning beaches, and peaceful temples while enjoying delicious local food.
For a hassle-free experience, you can sign up for a day tour from Hue to Hoi An.
An Bang Beach is a popular option for soaking up the sun and enjoying plenty of seaside activities. Along the coastline, you can find heaps of seafood restaurants, hippy bars, and beachfront resorts.
After treating yourself to An Bang Beach, My Son Sanctuary is a must-visit place, taking you closer to architecture and ancient civilizations.
At night, hang around Hoi An market to see glowing lanterns and photograph the majestic Japanese Bridge. Nightlife in Hoi An is pretty awesome!
Tam Giang lagoon
Tam Giang Lagoon is a fantastic place for those who want to have a taste of the local village life in Hue. It’s framed by the mountains on the west and a strip of land separating it from the ocean.
Start your day earlier by watching the breathtaking sunset and visiting the fish market. As the lagoon water is shallow, you can walk to the boats nearby, which come in with the fresh catch of the day.
While walking around, you’ll see prawns swimming in the water and clams hidden in the sand under your feet.
You can even go to the boats and try negotiating to get seafood for lunch. I love watching the fishermen pulling their small boats and washing their nets.
Here are some excellent Tam Giang lagoon tours that you can join from Hue.
- Half-day sunset tour
- Full day tour
Lang Co beach
Located at the foot of the famous Hai Van pass , Lang Co beach is an excellent stop near Hue Imperial City .
It’s a beautiful beach with palm-shaped soft white sand, a crystal-clear turquoise lagoon on one side, and a long beachfront on the other. The background of majestic green mountains adds to a stunning beach view.
With beautiful natural coastal landscapes, nothing beats relaxing or renting a boat to go around, including a trip to Son Cha Island. There’s a local market in the middle of the village selling fresh seafood.
While driving over the Hai Van pass, stop at Elephant Spring to explore small waterfalls and ponds.
Lap An lagoon
Surrounded by the beautiful Bach Ma Mountain range and Lang Co Bay, Lap An Lagoon is one of the remarkable natural landscapes in Hue. I fell in love with the mixture of beautiful sky clouds and the greenery of the mountains.
In addition to poetic nature, Lap An Lagoon is home to many aquatic animals like oysters. Spending a day roaming around fishing villages, you can find yourself close to the daily living of local people.
Also, don’t miss out on seeing how people spread the net to catch fish in the immense lagoon, pick scallops hidden in the sand, or see the oysters.

With a gripping history and enchanting sights, Hue is a must-visit city in Vietnam. Twice serving as a capital – first, during the mid-1700s as part of the Dang Trong Kingdom, and again from 1802 until 1945 as the Imperial City of the Nguyen Dynasty – Hue is a fascinating place to see. Under the Nguyen Dynasty, Hue reigned as the political, cultural and religious center of Vietnam.
Despite the 1968 Battle of Hue destroying many of the historic structures, the Imperial City Palace, many temples and several magnificent shrines still stand. In 1993, the Complex of Hue Monuments was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travelers can see all the top sights on a Hue City Tour, and we visited the best attractions (and more!) on a Hue Day Trip from Da Nang.
Hue Vietnam Tours: Da Nang & Hoi An to Hue Day Trip
Because of the close proximity to Da Nang and Hoi An, it is easy to see the sights on a 1-Day Hue Tour from either city. In fact, most tour operators pick up from both Hoi An and Da Nang before traveling north to Hue. One of the best things about taking a Hue tour from DaNang or Hoi An is that other nearby locations are included – like the iconic Hai Van Pass.
There are several Hue Day Tour options – from bus tours to motorbike tours to private tours. We spent ample time carefully considering our options for the best Hue City Tour that fit our style and budget. The affordable small-group Hue bus tour we booked ticked all our boxes!
Small-Group Hoi An & Da Nang To Hue Day Trip
We booked our Hue City Tour 1-Day Trip by van through Viator . The full-day tour was limited to 14 participants and included all of the top Hue tourist attractions. The day was well organized; and our friendly, English-speaking and competent Hue tour guide was with us from beginning to end. Book this tour now!
Hue Tour from Da Nang & Hoi An: Our Hue Day Trip Itinerary
When we booked our Hue Day Trip, we were provided with a brief outline of the tour. Other travelers who want to know more specifics of this Da Nang to Hue bus tour can read our review of the itinerary as a guideline of what to expect.
Morning Pick Up
Our Hue 1-Day Tour started bright and early! Pick up times were listed between 8:00 and 8:30am. Passengers in Hoi An are picked up first. As we were one of the last to be picked up in Da Nang, the van didn’t arrive until about 8:40am – but then we were quickly on our way.
As we left Da Nang City, our guide chatted with us about Da Nang and explained the events of the day. We were soon beginning our ascent along Hai Van Pass.
Hai Van Pass Vietnam
Not all Hue sightseeing day tours travel through Hai Van Pass (many use the Hai Van Tunnel), which is a shame because the views are absolutely gorgeous. In fact, one of the reasons we booked this specific tour is because it included Hai Van Pass on the way to Hue.
Many people consider it to be the most beautiful – and most dangerous – road in Vietnam. The name translates to Ocean Cloud. The narrow, curving mountain pass is less than 14miles long and is part of Vietnam’s National Route 1A. As the road climbs to the peak, the views over the sea are astounding.
Pro Tip : Visitors prone to motion sickness will want to come prepared. While I didn’t experience any issues, I did have my Sea Bands on just in case.
At the Hai Van peak, our driver stopped so that we could get out and explore. Remnants of structures – built by the Vietnamese, the French and the U.S. – stand at the top. The Annamite Mountain Range extends from the Cambodian border to the East Vietnam Sea. The mountain essentially cuts Vietnam into North and South – and the Hai Van Pass is what connects them.
Interesting Fact : Live pigs are often transported in big trucks from the south to the north on Hai Van Pass. Along the route, there are places where the drivers can pull off to have their pigs cooled down by hosing them with water; it’s quite a unique sight, even for Vietnam!
Lang Co Bay Vietnam
After coming down the north side of the mountain, we pulled off the road to a Lang Co Bay viewing point. The old fishing village is a small jumble of houses – ringed by exquisite beaches. While taking in the scene, we learned how the shallow waters are used for farming oysters and snails – and how the town is also known for eucalyptus oil. The fishing season is too short to make a good living, our guide explained, but with the additional trades, the people in the village are able to work year-round.
After leaving Lang Co Bay, we continued our Hue Tour from Hoi An and Da Nang – and began the 1.5-hour drive to the Imperial City.
Pro Tip : The shoreline train tracks that follow the curve of Lang Co Bay are for the Da Nang-Hue Train, which we talk more about at the end of the article!
Hue Imperial City: A Hue Walking Tour
Of all Hue tourist attractions, the Imperial City of Hue is the most impressive. The walled (and moated) citadel, built in the early 1800s, was created as a massive complex that encircled the Emperor’s palace. The grounds featured spacious courtyards and ornate gardens.
Twice the Imperial City came under attack – once in 1947 by the Viet Minh and again in 1968 during the Battle of Hue. Much of the Imperial City was destroyed. However, the palace was left intact and the other buildings have been restored.
Our guide led us through the vast complex, highlighting the sights with facts and tales. We visited the Royal Palace, the Royal Theater, lush gardens, an ornate temple, the historic gates and the cultural center (where we could sample tea, rest in the garden or buy souvenirs).
Pro Tip : All Hue, Vietnam tours include visiting the Imperial City. On our Hue Day Tour, the admission to the Imperial City – and all other sights – were included in the price.
Included Hue Day Trip Lunch
When we read that our Hue one-day tour included lunch, we didn’t give it much thought. We had been eating so much amazing food in Da Nang – and most tour-included-lunches are simple meals. Little did we know that we were in for an absolute treat with some of the best food in Hue, Vietnam! Our multi-course meal at a local Vietnamese restaurant was incredible.
For starters, we ate pumpkin soup, Hue-style crispy spring rolls and Banh Khoai – the Hue version of Banh Xeo crispy, filled pancakes. Then, for the main course, we indulged in whole fried fish and a sweet-and-savory stuffed roasted eggplant. For dessert, we had fresh fruit – the perfect ending to a fabulous meal.
Pro Tip : We did need to purchase our own drinks, but they were offered at fair prices and included a variety of choices – from Coca Cola to refreshing teas and cold juices. Also note, restaurant locations and menus may vary for your Hue Tour!
Thien Mu Pagoda Hue
With full, happy stomachs, our Hue tour group boarded the van for the short ride to Thien Mu Pagoda. The famous temple was built in 1601 – and the complex comprises much more than the towering riverside pagoda.
Our guide led us on a tour of the manicured grounds, passing gardens and ponds to the back of the complex where few other visitors were. There we visited a monk’s tomb. Although it is not customary for monk’s to be buried on the grounds, no one knew where this monk was from…so they buried him in the place he called home.
Pro Tip : One of the most interesting sights at Thien Mu Pagoda is the car of monk Thich Quang Duc. In 1963, in protest of the South Vietnamese government, Thich Quang Duc drove the car to Saigon, got out and set himself on fire. A memorial to the monk is now one of the Top Sights in Ho Chi Minh City .
Perfume River Tour Hue
The next activity on our Hue Day Tour from DaNang was a riverboat cruise on the Perfume River. We descended the steps of the Pagoda to the riverbank where there was a traditional Dragon Boat waiting for us.
The Hue boat tour was short, but a fantastic opportunity to rest our feet, cool off and take in the scenery. Seats were set up along both sides of the covered boat and we slowly motored our way east to a pick up spot where our air-conditioned Hue tour van was waiting for us.
Royal Tomb of Khai Dinh: Hue Tomb Tour
The last stop on our Da Nang-Hue Tour was the final resting place of King Khai Dinh, which is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although Khai Dinh was not a popular Emperor (he was actually quite disliked by the people for his close relationship with France), his tomb reigns as the most elaborate and decorative. The tomb complex is one of the top Hue, Vietnam tourist attractions.
Our guide led us through the on-site monuments, which feature a blend of Eastern and Western architectural styles. The complex and tomb took 11 years to complete – and, during that time, the Emperor raised taxes in order to fund the project. The intricate design of colorful mosaic tiles, however, are a truly incredible sight.
Bus From Hue To Da Nang Vietnam
Our small tour group was back in the van by 4:15pm for the ride from Hue to Da Nang. After the full day Hue sightseeing tour, most tour participants spent the ride resting with their eyes closed. We, however, reveled in the passing scenery. Under the soft light of the setting sun, the Vietnamese countryside scene was mesmerizing.
Pro Tip : For a quicker route back – and because it was already getting dark, the driver utilized the Hai Van Tunnel…and had us back in Da Nang in time for dinner!
Other Options For Hue City Tours
Although we chose to join a small-group Hue City Tour via mini-van, there are other options for travelers looking for something different.
Hue Private Tour
Travelers who would rather join a private guide on a full-day Hue City Tour from Da Nang should read the reviews of this tour . The advantage of having a private tour guide is that you can adjust the schedule to your specific interests and timeline!
Hue Motorbike Tour
Hue Motorbike Tours are an adventurous way to visit the Imperial City from Da Nang or Hoi An. The Da Nang and Hoi An to Hue Motorbike Tour is not advised for novice motorbike drivers, but skilled riders can check out top rated Vietnam motorbike tours on Viator .
More Ways to Tour Hue
An organized Hoi An and Da Nang to Hue Tour is not the only way to visit Hue. Visitors can book their own transportation. However, it’s important to understand that Hue tourist attractions are spread out and not easy to access without a vehicle or some sort of organized city tour in Hue.
Getting To Hue Without A Tour
We considered traveling from Da Nang to Hue on our own and researched the different options of getting between the two cities. In the end, however, we were happy that we booked the all-inclusive Da Nang to Hue tour so that we could simply sit back and enjoy the sights.
Da Nang To Hue Train
There are multiple daily departures for the DaNang to Hue train (and vice versa). The ride takes 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on route and seats cost as little as $6 USD. Note: There is no Hoi An to Hue Train; visitors departing from Hoi An who want to take the train to Hue will need to first get themselves to Da Nang.
Da Nang To Hue Bus
For cheap transport between the two cities, the Da Nang-Hue bus is an ideal option. There are several bus companies that offer the route – including VIP buses that make the ride a little more comfortable. However, the bus route always utilizes the Hai Van Tunnel, which eliminates the Hai Van Pass and some of the best scenery from Da Nang to Hue.
Pro Tip : Visitors traveling from Hoi An can also book a direct Hoi An to Hue Bus. There are multiple journeys a day and tickets start at around $6 USD.
Da Nang To Hue Taxi and Private Hue Transfers
Getting a taxi from Da Nang to Hue is, by far, the most expensive option. However, traveling with a personal driver is the quickest way to get to Hue from Da Nang. Visitors can book a private driver – with or without sightseeing stops – in advance on Viator .
Pro Tip : Travelers staying in Hoi An can book a highly-rated Private Hoi An to Hue Transfer – Read the reviews!
HANOI TO HUE : Travelers coming from the north of Vietnam have several options for getting to Hue. The Hanoi to Hue bus is the cheapest and longest route. Visitors can also take the Hanoi to Hue Train . The Hanoi-Hue Train ride takes about 14 hours and tickets start at about $25 USD. However, rather than take the long journey from Hanoi to Hue by train, visitors can hop on an hour-long Hanoi-Hue Flight for about $50 USD. Check flight times and get the best ticket prices on SkyScanner .
Hue City Tours
Visitors who travel to Hue on their own will likely still want to join one of the tours in Hue to see the best sights.
Hue Bike Tour
Hue Cycling Tours are a popular way to see more of the region. This half-day Hue Biking Tour takes participants into the countryside to small farming villages and ends with an included lunch. Check out the reviews!
Hue Food Tour
Feast on the best food in Hue on a cyclo tour. The small-group tour visits a local market and includes multiple stops for Hue cuisine and an excellent introduction to the best Vietnamese food! Reserve your spot!

One day in Hue, Vietnam a great Hue itinerary.
This post is also available in: French
Planning to spend 1 day in Hue, Vietnam and looking to see as much as possible? There are so many things to see in the city. This Hue itinerary will help you make the most out of your stay.
Hue is a charming city in central Vietnam that is known for being the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty emperors and for having the grand Dai Noi Citadel at its heart. As Hue is situated in the middle of the country, it is a great stopping off point for traveling both north and south along the coast.
While there is quite a lot to see and do in Hue, travelers can easily tick off most of the top sights in one day (if they don’t mind cramming a lot in) and this one-day itinerary allows you to visit the highlights in an easy, efficient way.
Hue is ideal for travelers with an interest in history and culture as it has so many significant sites that even the most discerning traveler will be entertained and engaged. When not visiting historical sites, Hue also features a whole host of great restaurants, markets, shops, and walkways to discover.
Table of Contents
The best time to visit Hue
Thanks to Hue’s location in between the coast and the mountains, the climate can be pretty variable, with two distinct seasons and a range of weather changes even within one day! If you don’t mind the heat, the best time to visit Hue is between January and August as these months feature temperatures in the mid-30s and hot, dry days. September onwards, however, is another story. These months are distinguished by their heavy rainfall which is known for cooler, yet humid temperatures and enough rain to cause problematic flooding. Regardless of the time of year you visit Hue, you should pack for every eventuality with everything from beachwear and shorts to a raincoat and wet-weather shoes!

How to get to Hue from Hoi An and Danang
Most travelers arriving in Hue will either be heading north, from Hoi An or Danang or south from Hanoi. Alternatively, if Hue is your first destination you are likely to be arriving from Danang, the closest international airport to the city. From the airport, you can take a private taxi which will cost around $40-50 or you can opt for public transport.
Travelers have various other options when it comes to getting to Hue, with both buses and trains being available from around the country. These tend to be the cheapest and easiest options and are best for solo travelers. The journey from Hoi An to Hue takes around 4-6 hours by bus (130,000 VND/$6) and a similar time by bus/train combo stopping off in Danang en route to change to the train (90,000 VND/$4). The train is arguably the better option as the journey travels along the coast offering wonderful views along the way.
If you are traveling as part of a group it may work out better to take a private transfer and split the cost. A private transfer allows you freedom and flexibility to stop off en route at sights such as My Son and Marble Mountain. This is likely to set you back around $80-100 from Hoi An, so you’ll want to plan your trip somewhat to really make the most of the journey.
Finally, if you’re traveling solo but would still like to visit a few different destinations on your way from Hoi An or Danang to Hue, you might want to consider joining a tour or transfer. A Jeep Transfer from Hoi An to Hue takes you along the Hai Van Pass with stops at villages, beaches and Marble Mountain en route. This is a fun way to travel as you are able to sight-see and make new friends while also getting from A to B.
If you have less time but know you want to visit the citadel in Hue, you can book onto a day tour from Hoi An or Danang, with minivan transfers and a guide for the day .
How to get around Hue
Once you arrive in Hue, you’ll need to think about how you want to get around the city. The sights here are quite spread out and as such, you’ll need some form of transport in order to travel between the Imperial City and the other attractions. While travelers can opt for public buses, this can sometimes be quite confusing and if you’re only visiting Hue for a day this option may be too time-consuming. Another option is to hire a bicycle.
This is a lovely way to see the city but it is not for the faint of heart as a full-day of exploration can be pretty tiring! Alternatively, I would advise travelers to hire a driver for the day or hopping in Cyclo-taxis between sites. As with anywhere, it’s always worth bartering and agreeing on a price before you travel.
You can also ask your hotel to help you book transport or a private tour if you are worried about overpaying or being scammed. Hue Tours are a good option if you wish to enjoy additional information about each of the sites and to make the most of your day.
One Day in Hue Itinerary
So, now you know when to visit Hue, how to get there and how to get around, you’ll want to think about what sights and attractions you wish to discover. This is where my one-day Hue itinerary comes in handy as I’ve chosen all the best bits that you can see in a day. Read on for the ultimate Hue plan of action.
Imperial City, Hue
Of course, the most famous and important site in Hue is the citadel, the former home of the Nguyen Dynasty Emperors. The Imperial City is the walled enclosure within this grand complex of ancient ruins which houses the Purple Forbidden City.
This is the perfect place to start your day, learning about the history of the emperors before seeing pagodas, tombs, and statues later on throughout the day.
Thien Mu Pagoda
Another site on the agenda is the Thien Mu Pagoda, a temple overlooking the Perfume River and the city. This pagoda is known for having gold and silver images of the Buddha and is one of the most recognizable and fascinating sites in the city.
The To Mieu temple complex is an area of the Imperial Enclosure that dates from 1824 and which comprises a three-tiered pavilion (Hien Lam), the To Mieu temple and the Nine Dynastic Urns. This is an important location in relation to the Nguyen Dynasty emperors and as such is well worth a visit!
Thanh Toan Bridge
Next up is the Thanh Toan Bridge, a picturesque wooden structure that is thought to be around 200 years old. This small bridge (similar to the covered Japanese bridge in Hoi An) crosses the Nhu Y River and features intricate carvings as well as ancestral altars and a shrine to the patrons who helped create the bridge.
Tombs of the Ancient Emperors
Another highlight of visiting Hue is the Tombs of the Ancient Emperors, historic temple/statuesque ruins which convey Buddhist legend as well as history about the Emperors of ancient Vietnam. The Royal Tomb of Khai Dinh is one of the largest and most significant mausoleums, with a distinct blend of Eastern and Western architecture. This tomb features a large staircase and detailed carvings and columns as well as having a number of statues outside.
The Tomb of Minh Mang is different in style to Khai Dinh, with a tiled pavilion roof and red exteriors giving it more of a Chinese feel. Last but by no means least is Tu Duc, a temple and tomb complex designed by Tu Doc himself before his death. This complex is made up of a collection of temples, courtyards, and pavilions located on a small island. Each of these tombs is highly intricate and breathtakingly beautiful so it is worth seeing all three so that you can compare and contrast the different styles.
Dong Ba Market
When you’ve had your fix of historical sites, you may want to explore the Dong Ba Market for a fun and relaxing way to spend the afternoon. The market is filled with everything from household wares and clothes, to food, handicrafts, drinks and more. Everything here is pretty affordable, but even if you’re just window shopping it is still an entertaining attraction.
Trang Tien Bridge
Another great sight in Hue is the Trang Tien Bridge, a surprisingly modern-looking structure considering it was built in the late 1800s! The bridge crosses the Perfume River and offers wonderful views, but it is also worth seeing by night when it lights up in five different colors.
Cruise the Perfume River
A cruise along the Perfume River is a lovely way to end your day in Hue, gently moving through the city seeing the sights from a new perspective. As day turns to night the city is lit up with a glimmering, golden tone which makes it all the more magical.

Day Trips from Hue
If you have longer to spend in and around Hue, you might want to consider a day trip or two out of the city. There are loads of options available so whether you’re into history or nature there’s a day trip for you.
DMZ tours are a popular choice for those interested in history as they take you to explore the Demilitarised Zone of Vietnam. This area was the designated dividing section between the Communist North and the free South as signed off by the Geneva Conference on 21 July 1954. This is a truly fascinating tour that gives you a wealth of insight about the history and conflict within Vietnam. The tour also allows you to learn about ethnic minorities within the area and to witness the natural beauty of the region.
Click here for more information and to book this tour.
Phong Nha Cave Tour
Vietnam is known for its spectacular caves and grottos that have been carved out of limestone over centuries. This half-day tour allows you to visit the Phong Nha Cave in the Quang Binh Province which contains 14 grottos and an underground river that stretches almost 14,000m!
Bach Ma National Park
The area of Bach Ma National Park is a hub of natural activity with rich biodiversity and a range of amazing trails and routes that you can explore. If you take a private transfer from Hue to Bach Ma National Park you can spend the day discovering the park at your leisure, choosing when you wish to return to the city.
Click here for more information and to book this tour.
While this one-day Hue itinerary may seem pretty jam-packed, it’s the perfect option for those with little time who want to explore the real highlights of Hue. One day with a private driver gives you enough time to fully discover the Imperial City that makes Hue so famous as well as balancing out your time with visits to bridges, markets and walks along the river.
