Rising KPOP rock band DAY6 will finally be staging their first concert in Singapore with their brand-new world tour ‘GRAVITY’ on 5 Oct at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre!

DAY6, a South Korean rock band that entered the Korean music scene in 2015, comprises of Sungjin, Jae, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon. They made their debut under JYP Entertainment in 2015 with their EP “The Day”. Day6 isn’t the typical K-pop idol group that delivers perfectly synced dance moves. Instead, each member of the band impress with the different musical instruments they play live for every single performance, along with their stunning vocals. DAY6 are known for producing some of the most heart-tugging alternative rock songs. Following their debut EP “The Day” and their second EP “DAYDREAM”, the group announced their year-long monthly song release project Every DAY6. The series took place from January to December 2017, the band released a new song every month. In June 2017, DAY6 thrilled fans with the release of their long-awaited first full-length album “SUNRISE” and in the same year, DAY6 released their second full-length album “MOONRISE”, a masterful conclusion to their Every DAY6 project.

In 2018, DAY6 made their official debut in Japan with their first Japanese single “If We Meet Again”, which is also the theme song for Japan drama “Repeat” and announced their first Japan tour DAY6 1st Live In Japan “The Best Day” with release of their first Japanese best album “THE BEST DAY”. After their Japan debut, DAY6 made their return to the Korean music scene and released their third mini album “Shoot Me: Youth Part 1” with lead single “Shoot Me”, and followed by the release of the second part of the series “Remember Us: Youth Part 2”. From June 2018 to March this year, their first world tour ‘DAY6 1ST WORLD TOUR ‘Youth” was completed 24 cities and 28 performances around the world.

After the successful their 1st World tour, DAY6 returns with their 5th mini album “The Book of Us: Gravity” where it features six new self-composed songs including title track “Time of Our Life”. The album rose to top chart on iTunes album chart in at least 11 cities including Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. In addition, achieving the top spot of 2 prestigious Korean Music Shows. DAY6’s title track “Time of Our Life,” took home two #1 wins in just two days, on ‘Show Champion’ and ‘M Countdown.’ Upon both of their wins, fans from all over the world showed their excitement by trending #Day61stWin and #Day62ndWin immediately on Twitter. With the release of their 5th Mini Album, ‘The Book of Us : Gravity,’ DAY6 continue to infiltrate the U.S. with two Billboard charting placements. Their album was the biggest debut tally for the week of July 18th, landing at #9 on Billboard’s World Albums Chart. In addition, ‘The Book of Us : Gravity,’ debuted on the Heatseakers Albums at #20, which according to Billboard is “a chart that sees far fewer Korean acts enter.”

DAY6 will finally be staging their first concert in Singapore with their brand-new world tour “GRAVITY” on October 5 at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre!

The band kicked off their second world tour in Seoul and will expand their scale to a total of 26 cities and 31 performances.

DAY6 WORLD TOUR “GRAVITY” in SINGAPORE will be held on October 5, 2019 at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre, tickets are priced at $268 SGD/ $228 SGD/ $188 SGD/ $148 SGD, and will go on sale on August 18 at 12 p.m. SGT onwards via APACTix ticketing channels. Live Nation members can enjoy an exclusive presale on August 17 from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. via www.livenation.sg . All CAT 1 ($268 SGD) ticket holders will be entitled to a lucky draw chance to join in a Hi-Touch session with DAY6, and the winners will be announced 3 days prior to the show. DAY6 has unveiled details about their “Gravity” world tour!

The JYP Entertainment band will be embarking on a world tour with stops in Seoul, Daegu, Busan, New York, Boston, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney, Manila, Jakarta, Bangkok, Milan, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Warsaw, Moscow, Lisbon, and Madrid.

DAY6 is currently gearing up for a return with their mini album “ The Book of Us: Gravity, ” which is due out on July 15.

Korean pop band DAY6 will be heading across the globe later this year with their newly announced Gravity Tour.

The five-member act, which features guitarist Jae, rhythm guitarist Sungjin, bassist Young K, keyboardist Wonpil and drummer Dowoon, will kick off their 2019 world tour in Seoul on August 9-11 and perform in two other South Korean cities, Daegu and Busan, before heading Stateside for their first shows in New York City on Sept. 12-13. They’ll then head to Boston, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles before the month’s end, after which they’ll tour throughout Asia, Australia and Europe through the start of 2020.

The U.S. leg of the tour will see Day6 perform nine concerts between Sept. 12 and Sept. 29 and is supported by Subkulture Entertainment. DAY6 last toured in the country during their Youth  world tour in 2018. Prior to that, they had brought their Live & Meet in North America concert series Stateside in 2017.

DAY6 has announced its ‘GRAVITY’ World Tour, which includes stops in Seoul , Daegu , Busan , Singapore , Manila , Jakarta , and Bangkok . 

Formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015, DAY6 is a K-pop/pop rock band consisting of Jae , Sungjin , Young K , Wonpil and Dowoon . In 2017, the group put out its debut full-length album, SUNRISE , which peaked at number six on the Billboard US World Albums Chart of that year. 

This current world tour is in support of DAY6’s 2018 releases – a full-length album titled UNLOCK , as well as an EP titled Remember Us: Youth Part 2   – and its upcoming mini-album,  The Book of Us: Gravity .

Following their 1st world tour “Youth”, DAY6  is ready to embark on their new world tour “GRAVITY” beginning this August in Seoul.

DAY6 Fulfills Promise As They Return For “Gravity” Tour In Manila

Filipino mydays are in for a second serving of great performances from day6 this november..

DAY6 sure knows how to keep their word as they are coming back to meet their Filipino fans once again. The band will stage another spectacular concert and this year, they are meeting Filipino MyDays in a larger venue. DAY6 WORLD TOUR GRAVITY in MANILA is happening in Araneta Coliseum on November 23 at 5:30PM.

This year’s concert marks the second time the boys will be performing in front of the Filipino audience. Their first headlining event in the country, which was part of the band’s first world tour Youth , was staged in a sold-out crowd on October 6, 2018.

Ticketing Details, Seat Plan and Perks

Tickets for DAY6 WORLD TOUR GRAVITY in MANILA will start its official selling on October 27 at 12PM (noon) through TicketNet website and branches nationwide. Prices vary depending on the seating sections and the amount indicated below does not include ticketing charges.

• Pulp Royalty Standing/Seated – PHP 13,500
• VIP Standing – PHP 9,500
• VIP Seated – PHP 7,500
• Box A – PHP 5, 500
• Box B – PHP 3,500
• Upper Box – PHP 2,500

Purchase of the Pulp Royalty tickets entitles holders to Pulp Royalty Package. This includes Hi Touch, one signed latest album and priority entrance on show day. They also get a one-of-a-kind concert ID and lanyard, a souvenir card and an official poster.

DAY6 debuted in 2015 under JYP Entertainment. Since then, they have released a number of hit tracks that showcase the band’s diverse musical color. Jae, Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon have captured the hearts of music lovers, not just in their home country but overseas as well. They released their fifth EP The Book of Us: Gravity on July 15, with the lead single “Time of Our Life”and recently had their very first music show win.

Since their debut in 2015, DAY6 have been capturing the hearts of crowds everywhere with their first EP The Day, which carried the lead single “Congratulations.” Soon after, they have emerged as a global sensation, touring countries like Japan and the US.
