Nas and Wu-Tang Clan announce 2023 world tour

The “n.y. state of mind tour” is back..

Nas and Wu-Tang Clan will embark on their second annual “ N.Y. State of Mind Tour ” this spring, the Queens and Staten Island legends dually announced today (February 27). The global run will hit 32 cities in three continents over the course of more than five months, kicking off May 9 at the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. After that show and three Australian gigs, Nas and Wu will travel to Europe in June for eight additional performances before returning stateside for a 20-date September-October North American run.

Nas shared his most recent album, King’s Disease III , in November. The members of Wu-Tang have, as always, been involved in a head-spinning number of endeavors both solo and collaborative, including a recent joint track from Raekwon and Ghostface for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game soundtrack.

Wu-Tang Clan announce Dublin date

HIP-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan and Nas have announced a Dublin date for this summer as part of their world-wide co-headlining NY State of Mind Tour.

The 32-date global tour kicks off on Tuesday May 9 in Auckland, New Zealand and will hit Dublin's 3Arena on June 9 before moving on to Glasgow's OVO Hydro on June 12 and the O2 Arena in London on June 13.

The 2023 tour comes on the heels of the sold-out 2022 NY State of Mind Tour run that hit 25+ cities last year, including a show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Hip Hop icons  Wu-Tang Clan  and  Nas  have announced the 2023 co-headline run of their  N.Y. State of Mind Tour , which will be hitting multiple continents this year. Produced by Live Nation, the 32-date global tour kicks off on Tuesday, May 9th in Auckland, New Zealand at Spark Arena, with additional stops across New Zealand, Australia, North America and Europe before wrapping up on Sunday, October 22nd at Yaamava Theatre in Highland, CA – with an Irish date in Dublin’s 3Arena on 9 June 2023.

Nas announces ‘Illmatic’ 30th anniversary UK and European tour

Four UK shows are lined up, including a slot at Royal Albert Hall

Nas has announced details of a new UK and European tour, celebrating the 30th anniversary of his iconic album ‘Illmatic’. Find ticket details below.

The dates will see the hip-hop legend embark on a number of shows across the continent later this year to mark 30 years since he dropped his iconic debut album.

Set to run throughout October and November, 15 shows are lined up, and each live date will see the American rapper and East Coast legend perform the breakthrough album in its entirety.

The dates kick off with the run of European shows, starting at the House Of Culture venue in Helsinki on October 22. From there, Nas will perform at B-K in Stockholm on October 24, followed by dates in Copenhagen (25), Cologne (27), Milan (30) and Switzerland (31).

A second leg of shows across Europe is lined up for the beginning of November, including gigs in Vienna, Berlin, Amsterdam and Paris, before they wrap up with a slot at the Stadthalle Offenbach in Germany on Friday, November 8.

The final part of the 2024 tour will comprise of four shows in the UK, beginning with a stop at the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester on November 10, followed by shows in Edinburgh and Wolverhampton. The stint wraps up with a closing performance at the historic Royal Albert Hall in London on November 15.

Originally, ‘Illmatic’ was shared in 1994 by a then 20-year-old Nas as his debut LP, and quickly gained momentum for painting a vivid picture of what it meant to grow up in New York in the 90’s. It contained modern-day classics including ‘N.Y State of Mind’, ‘Halftime’, ‘The World Is Yours’ and ‘It Ain’t Hard to Tell’.

Since its release, it has gone on to be certified RIAA platinum and is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential hip-hop albums of all time.

As well as announcing the upcoming tour dates, Nas has also commemorated the 30th anniversary of ‘Illmatic’ with the release of a new track, ‘Define My Name’. Produced by DJ Premier – who worked on a handful of tracks on the timeless classic, the song is out now via Mass Appeal. Check it out below.

Last September, Nas surprised fans by announcing the release of his latest album, ‘Magic 3’ –the follow-up to last July’s ‘Magic 2’ .

The LP marked the final instalment of his ‘Magic’ trilogy, which started when he shared the first album on Christmas Eve 2021 .

Ahead of his headline dates, Nas will also be performing at The Roots’ annual Roots Picnic festival in Philadelphia . The line-up for the two-day music festival was announced earlier this year, and the 2024 edition see the event return to its usual home of The Mann in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, PA on June 1-2.

Others on the bill include Lil Wayne , Jill Scott and André 3000 . The latter will be performing a special set in support of his recently released debut solo LP ‘New Blue Sun’ .

Aside from the Roots Picnic Festival, Nas will also be headed to All Points East 2024, as he joins Ezra Collective and headliner Loyle Carner . Find remaining tickets to all of his upcoming dates here .

Post Malone, Wu Tang Clan, and Nas announce Dublin summer gigs

It’s been a big week for rap and hip hop fans as three massive artists have announced upcoming Dublin gigs.

It’s time to get excited for some proper concerts this summer. Post Malone, Nas and Wu Tang Clan are all heading to Dublin in the sunnier months of the year and we’re already excited.

Yesterday, the iconic hip hop collective Wu Tang Clan announced they will co-headline a 3Arena show with legendary rapper Nas on June 9. The gig is part of Wu Tang’s N.Y. State of Mind Tour, with  tickets  priced €69.50 on sale Friday, March 3 at 9am.

Starting life in New York’s Staten Island during the early 90’s the acclaimed group consists of RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, and the deceased Ol’ Dirty Bastard (ODB).

Nas, another New York City native, released his debut album Illmatic in 1994, which is still widely regarded as one of the greatest rap albums of all time.

Wu-Tang and Nas most recently toured together last year 2022, and are now extending their tour further across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the US. Nas’ latest album King’s Disease III released last year, while Wu-Tang last album, A Better Tomorrow, came out in in 2014.

Just a day after the Wu Tang and Nas concert was announced, rapper and singer Post Malone also announced he is extending his Twelve Carat Tour to Europe, coming to the 3Arena on May 9.  Tickets  are €59.50 and go on sale Friday, March 3 at 12pm. Support will come from Mississippi hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd.

Malone released his fourth and most recent studio album, Twelve Carat Toothache, in June 2022 to positive reviews. The Texas musician always draws a big crowd for his Irish gigs and we can’t see this going any differently.

Fontaines D.C. Announce 2024 North American Tour Dates

Fontaines D.C. have announced new North American tour dates in support of their new album, Romance . The newly announced shows take place in September and October and feature support from Dirty Hit ’s Been Stellar . See all of Fontaines D.C.’s tour dates, including stops in Europe and the United Kingdom, below.

Romance , the fourth studio album from Fontaines D.C., is out August 23. It’s the Irish band’s first LP for XL Recordings , following three albums for Partisan Records .
