The prices weren't scary, the store was impeccably clean, there were great prepared foods in the deli and meat department, and THEY HAVE STAFF THAT WILL ACTUALLY HELP YOU. Sorry, too many years of shopping at big box stores... food is so good here... mmmmm

All other grocery stores could learn a thing or two from this place. They have a person making chocolate treats right in the store. Nowhere else have I experienced this

This is everything you could want from a grocery store and more. Absolutely hands down the best most friendly staff, super helpful. Obviously you can always fulfill your grocery needs. BUT WAIT, there's more, they have food bars!!! That's right, you can get all sorts of food packaged and you can eat right there in a nice little sitting area. They also have frozen yogurt, which definitely isn't the best but it does make you feel like less of an adult when you're grocery shopping with frozen yogurt.

So cool. The perogie bar is full of not your potato and cheese.. the candy section is a kids delight-grown up ones too!! Loved the sushi bar....so fresh and tasty. The Chinese food was hot and very fresh. Fresh gently readied cold cuts cut to your fancy with lots of care. The fresh raw meat and sea food was amazing. The store is unique, staff helpful and attentive. You definitely pay for these items. The food I have mentioned was purchased at a few different outings. There are deals but still very expensive overall.

Save-On-FOOLS, $1.49 DAYS, March 19, 2024. One slice of bacon for $1.49, while supplies last, FOOLS????? Save-On-Foods - Applewood Smoked Bacon, 1 Each $1.49

I like Save On Foods. I can usually rely on friendly staff, a clean environment, and a brightly lit store with fresh produce. I find their prices higher than most (for examply, who else charges by the pound for celery?!?). But their bulk section is to die for amongst our typical grocery store chains - Where else can you find chocolate covered gummy bears and all kinds of seasonal goodness? And not to mention bulk quinoa? I tend to purchase mostly sale items at Save On Foods - although, trading in points is SUPER annoying. I'm not a trade in 10,000 points for $3 watermelon kind of gal. Put it on sale or don't put it on sale - goodness griefous! You also CANNOT provide your phone number here if you have forgotten your little Save On More Rewards card - thumbs down! Come on, I don't have room in my wallet for every single rewards card out there! I recently tried their rotisserie chicken meal with the bread you bake at home - it was pretty darn good! In summary, I like you Save On Foods but there is definitely room for improvement in pricing and the way your rewards card/sales are facilitated.

This store went above and beyond for me today. The store manager and the deli/cheese department jumped through hoops to help me out in a pinch. It was much appreciated.

I'm generally a save on foods fan. In the past I have shopped at the Jasper ave location and that was typically a good experience. The Sherwood park location also seems to be decent. The times I have shopped at this particular location I have regretted it. The most noteworthy issue is their produce department. They do not keep the items well stocks so you are often left with next to nothing to choose from. I like when stores have self check outs and this one does not. But, the times I've been there it hasn't been busy so I haven't had to wait in line for cashier. I'm not sure how the other save on is in St. Albert; however, I'd recommend avoiding this location.

We've shopped at this Saveon store (north end St Albert) for the last 5 years. Lately the shelves are empty, & staff is not available for help in the aisles. There has definitely been an attitude shift away from friendly service in the last year. Time to shop elsewhere. The cashiers that have worked there since we first started to shop there, continue to offer great service.

This is honestly the best grocery store in all of Saint Albert they have the best staff I am never left lost or confused. I continuously have multiple staff always asking me for help and assuring if I ve found everything that I need. The friendliest most wonderful place in all of Saint Albert to shop. They also have a fruit bin for children who are hungry to have a snack I found this place absolutely fantastic five stars !!!! Also they have an excellent variety of gluten free food

I love this Save On Foods! When I am traveling to Edmonton I always stop at this location of Save On Foods for groceries on the way home. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's open late! The selection of organic products is way better than what I can find at home and the produce is very good quality. There is always an in-store special of something that I find the need to take home with me too. Redemption of points from my More card is super easy. Highly recommend shopping here.
