A lovely place to stay only blocks from the main downtown area of Lucena and the Saint Ferdinand Cathedral. Very quiet except for one night of graduation celebrations (to be expected this time of year). Everything you need to have a restful stay within or enjoy a night out with excellent eating choices nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Not really much to do here unless you're visiting family. This is a nice place to stay though if you're tooling around Quezon Province.

This is the capital city. There's a nice park almost right at the end of Quezon Avenue going to Cotta port. It's in front of the Iglesia Ni Cristo church and the Capitol Building. Near there also is the Governor's Mansion built a long time ago. I don't think anyone livs there now but it looks well maintained and is a beautiful piece of spanish architecture. There are three malls here as well: SM (best as it has a cinema), Gaisano and Pacific mall (they're connected to each other and together they're the largest mall there). Nearby is the town of Tayabas where you can eat at the famous Kamayan sa Palaisdaan restaurant and where you can buy the freshest "budin", a creamy cassava cake and a local delicacy.
