Her blog is great and gave us so many unique non-tourist ideas while on island like special local restraunts (CocoPlum) and beaches (Love Beach).

White glove treatment!

Book with Float Your Boat for a white glove experience. Tatyana provided excellent customer attention. We received door to door service from our hotel to the plane, boat and on the return. We loved our day in the Exumas – each stop was beautiful and unique. Our group of 8 had a private boat with Sanchez at the helm who was a great guide. One of the perks of flying to Exuma was getting to the high traffic stops before anyone else and being able to spend more time at each destination. I would absolutely book with Float Your Boat again!

Had an amazing experience with FYBB from start to finish. Communication was excellent and every detail was planned out for us. We swam with sea turtles, saw the pigs on the beach, snorkeled a coral reef, and had a blast! Captain Vargo was great. They even included pick up and drop off from our hotel. Definitely recommend!

Perfectly Organized Trip to Spanish Wells

Our trip to Spanish Wells was beyond our expectations! If you follow all the tips and advice in their blog post, your trip will be so easy. It was super easy to get there, and the Airbnb, we chose (Palmetto Cottage, from the blog post) was so cute, clean and right in front of a beautiful sandbar you could walk straight out to from the beach ! A definite highlight of the was the boat trip they organised for us. Captain Shaw was awesome – he had a really nice boat, was so fun and friendly. He took us to the most incredible sights: an empty sandbar in the middle of the water littered with starfish, rope swings at another sandbar in the middle of the water and we even saw some dolphins swimming around the boat! The other road trip recommendations in North Eleuthera were super cool as well. This trip is a must. (Just make sure to see what restaurants are open when as they aren’t all open 7 days a week!)

Best Day Ever!

AMAZING TIME all 17 of us came off the Walking Dead Cruise for a day of fun and that is what we got ! Timeline was most important to us as we had a tight schedule and had to be back at a certain time. We arrived and got off the ship early to my surprise our driver Romeo was already waiting. He took us to the airport where we boarded 2 planes. All I am saying is they can fly us again anytime ( after a little girl scream attack 😳😬) ! From there we took 2 boats to see the Iguanas, then the Pigs ( amazing !! ) a fun stop at a sand bank for photos and bahama mamas ( best pictures ever ) then we went and swam with a TON of nurse sharks …. after that we were supposed to go into the grotto but the tide was too high and we did try to dock for some time but decided not to ( #nexttime) .. instead Ardy took us to see an old crashed drug plane and we got some time to swim around that which was super cool ! .. back to plane. back to bus back to cruise ship all on time ! We even had some time to shop at port and get our souveniers ! CAN NOT WAIT TO DO IT ALL AGAIN ! THANK YOU FLOAT YOUR BOAT BAHAMAS !!!

Tatjana was awesome. Very attentive to our needs and got us in a trip last minute that others said they couldn’t. I wish i would have found this place prior to my trip and I would have gladly paid this company to plan it all out. She responded quick to every text. Also got us rates hundreds cheaper than others. How do I book a charter?

To book a charter, simply select the charter that interests you and fill out our form, providing us with details about your preferred dates and the size of your party. We will contact you to finalize the details and send an invoice that can be conveniently paid through our processing system.

What should we bring?

When joining our charter, remember to bring essentials such as sunscreen, towels, any special food or drinks you prefer, your favorite music playlist (if you'd like), and a camera to capture memorable moments. It's worth noting that we provide USB chargers and house-style outlets on board to keep your electronics powered.

Are life jackets provided for all passengers?

Yes! Your safety is our top priority. We provide life jackets and other necessary safety equipment on board.

Can I bring my own snorkeling gear?

Absolutely, feel free to bring your own snorkel gear.

When is the best time to snorkel?

The best time to snorkel depends on your personal preference. Our islands boast beautiful waters that resemble postcard images throughout the day, so there is no bad time to indulge in this activity.

Do you need to be a good swimmer to snorkel?

While safety is our top priority and all activities are undertaken at your own risk, we ensure that all our guests are kept in waters suitable for snorkeling and enjoying the ocean life. 

Additionally, we provide lifejackets and snorkel vests on board to help conserve energy while snorkeling.

Are children required to wear life jackets?

For children under the age of 5, we recommend wearing jackets while moving around on the vessel.

What happens if it rains?

As The Bahama Islands have a tropical climate, weather conditions can vary and change rapidly. While your hotel or villa may experience rain and storms, other parts of the island may remain sunny with blue skies. Our captains will assess weather concerns on the day of the cruise. 

Typically, rain showers are followed by beautiful sunshine and pleasant weather. In the rare event that we cancel a charter due to inclement weather or sea conditions, a representative will contact you to reschedule.

Is gratuity included in the charter price?

Kindly note that gratuity is not included in the Charter price but is greatly appreciated.

When is lobster season, and can I request it on my charter?

Lobster season in the Bahamas runs from August 1st to March 31st. If available on the island, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please inquire about pricing for the upgraded lobster lunch option, which can be served as a platter or lobster salad.

Can I bring my pet on board?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your pet on board.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

YES! You can BYOB  we provide a selection of beverages on board, including Rum Punch, Bahama Mama Beer (local and imported),  and upon request we can provide….. at additional cost.  white wine, and French champagne for toasting. While we do allow you to bring your own alcohol, we kindly request that you speak to our staff beforehand for guidance.

Is there a restroom onboard?

Yes, our 34ft Corsa, 34ft Rinker & 33ft Sea Ray Sundancer are all equipped with a restroom and a full shower facility for your convenience.

Can I bring my baby on board?

Absolutely! Infants are allowed on board our vessels. Our cabin cruiser provides a comfortable environment with a full kitchen, stateroom, and air conditioning for napping.

However, we kindly ask that children under 7 years old are not left unattended inside the cabin cruiser as a safety precaution. We also provide infant life jackets suitable for babies aged 12 months and up.

What kind of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and all major credit cards. For your security, we also offer payment processing through Cash App, Venmo, and Zelle. We encourage online payments, as they give you greater control over your data. In the event of weather-related cancellations or refunds, please note that it may take us 1-3 days to process the refund.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate your needs. If you need to cancel or reschedule your trip, please inform us as soon as possible.

Do your boats have music?

Certainly! Our vessels are equipped with a JBL sound system that can be accessed via Bluetooth. Additionally, we offer XM and local radio options to enhance your boating experience.

What is included with all packages?

Customize your island party! With all our packages, you can expect a team of dedicated captains, mates, bartenders, and operations and support staff who possess extensive backgrounds in hospitality. They are experts in the boating, watersports, and tour business, ensuring that you have a fantastic experience.

Our popular boat parties in the Bahamas come with complimentary dry snacks and beverages, and we also offer the option of an island barbecue. Moreover, you have the flexibility to customize your island party by bringing your own food and beverage, which our staff can serve. We can even arrange for private caterers to cater your event, providing you with a truly personalized and unforgettable experience.

Do you offer transportation to and from the boat?

We offer transportation to and from the boat at an additional cost. Please contact us with the number of persons in your group.

Is there a minimum age requirement for jet ski rentals?

Children aged five and above can participate in the JetSki ride. Youth aged 12 years and over can drive with an accompanying adult.

Are fishing licenses included in the adventure fishing package?

Fishing licenses are not required for fishing charters, and you are welcome to keep what you catch.

What happens in case of a medical emergency?

In the event of a medical emergency, we will promptly contact the United States Coast Guard or Royal Bahamas Defense Force, adhering to maritime safety protocols.

Big Major Cay is an uninhabited island and the pigs are not indigenous to the island. Some claim that they were abandoned by a group of sailors who intended to return and cook them. Dean's Blue Hole on Long Island

The world’s deepest salt water blue hole can be found near Clarence Town on the coast of Long Island, The Bahamas.

A blue hole is an underwater cavern and sometimes it is also called a sinkhole.

There is no shortage of blue holes on the planet, but Dean’s blue hole is the deepest and considered one of the most beautiful ones as well.

It is widely considered to be one of the world’s best diving and snorkelling site.

The water is very clear as its visibility reaches up to 30 meters. The blue hole’s deepest point is 202 metres (663 ft) but if you pass the hole and swim around, the depth of the water will be only waist-deep. Because of its enclosed nature, wind does not reach it and there are no big waves either, making it an ideal place even for beginner swimmers.

Typically, blue holes look like ponds, but Dean’s blue hole is a different one in many ways. It is connected to the Atlantic through an inlet on one side and framed by cliffs and white sand beaches on the other.

The diameter of the hole is between 25 and 35 meters, thus it is easy to swim past it. Once you reach 20 meters below the water, the diameter of the blue hole extends to approximately 100 meters wide.

Besides being one of the best spots in the world to dive and swim, it is also a marvellous sight in itself. Beaches around the blue hole are also clear and excellent spots to tan in the sun.

All day adventure with many unbelievably memorable stops along the way. Snorkelling Thunderball Grotto was the highlight of my day. My husband loved swimming with the nurse sharks. Our travelling friends loved the swimming pigs and iguanas. The hospitality and professionalism of Captain Robert, Captain William, and Atwique (sp?) made the day worry free and relaxing. The boat was a surprisingly smooth ride on a windy day (18 mph wind).

If you do one thing while in Exuma, book a trip with Robert!! We had an absolutely perfect day on the full day tour of the cays! Beer and rum punch provided, stops at pig beach, iguana island, thunderball grotto, swimming with sharks, the sandbar, a stop for lunch, and several other stops along the way where the crew will point out celebrity’s homes and private islands. A taxi provided by Roberts staff picked us up outside of Sandals resort and then drove us back at the end of the day. Amazing day!!

It was a one of a kind trip! A memorable one! We went to the iguanas fed them, then over to the pigs which was super cool then onto the nurse sharks in compass cay. After that we went we stopped for lunch which was a buffet with a beautiful view. We also saw Pablo Escobar’s sunken plane although the tide was high so couldn’t see much, we also saw turtles, stopped at a sandbank where i found 2 sandollars and lastly snorkled at the mermaid piano which was great. It was just the perfect day thankyou!!🥰🥰💗

We had the time of our life at the tour. Perfect way to se the swimming pigs. Also we enjoyed swimming with small sharks, seing iguanas, diving into the James Bond Thunderball Grotto. We saw turtles, stingrays, the Sandbar and had a great bahimian lunch. We caught a little caribian shower on the way back in the boat but that was just a nice experience. Two points to make. 1) When inquiring, booking and confirming, the correspondence was professional and timely. Keep in mind, it's not easy to respond to emails from the middle of the ocean. I even did two trips (full day swim w/ pigs, etc. and half day fishing charter). 2) The captains and their mates were polite, entertaining, generous, etc. I highly recommend Robert's.

Me and my girlfriend decided to go on a full day excursion and chose Roberts Island Adventures. The experience was an unforgettable one ! 10/10, William and Yellow made the experience worth while, being very informative about the tour and making it fun with beers and gombay smash ! Are there swimming pigs on Rose Island?

There sure are! While the “original” famous swimming pigs reside on the island of Exuma, there are also pigs on Rose Island. The pigs that inhabit Rose Island are not wild pigs, they are pets, and are more gentle and predictable than those of Exuma.

Rose Island Sharks

Are there sharks around Rose Island? Yes, of course, there are. The waters around the Bahamas in general have a very high population of sharks. In fact, Bimini Bahamas is where the leading shark research in the world is headquartered, and where I was fortunate enough to swim with Caribbean Reef Sharks .

There have been two recent shark attacks near Rose Island. One attack was in 2019 and one in 2022 and both were fatal. While this may sound scary, shark attacks are very rare. Sharks do not seek out humans as a food source.

Rose Island Bahamas Snorkeling

Due to a coral reef offshore, and the incredibly clear Bahamian waters, there are excellent opportunities for snorkeling around Rose Island.
