Taylor Swift in Sydney: Eras Tour tickets, times, set list & everything you need to know

Your ultimate guide to Taylor Swift shows in Sydney

Taylor Swift in a haze of smoke

Taylor Swift is in Sydney. She arrived during Monday's huge thunder storm that caused havoc around Sydney – and ever since, she's been causing a Taylor storm, stepping out at restaurants and the zoo – and yesterday, just a day before her first Sydney show, she's released MORE additional tickets .

It looks like those of us who have tickets are in for a real treat when she hits the stage at  Accor Stadium  in  Sydney Olympic Park  for four nights this week, from Friday, February 23 to Monday, February 26.  Time Out Melbourne Editor Leah Glynn was at one of her Melbourne shows, and says, "Believe the hype, folks. Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is everything you are hoping it to be: magical, emotional, spectacular, transformative. It's three-and-a-half hours of pure musical joy, best enjoyed with 96,000 of your closest friends (the stadium atmosphere at the MCG was unlike anything I've ever experienced before). I laughed, I cried, I sang and danced my little heart out – and I'd do it all again if anyone has a spare ticket. All hail, Queen Taylor."

If you were lucky enough to nab a ticket, here's everything you need to know about her Sydney shows...

When is Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Sydney?

Tay Tay will take to the stage at Accor Stadium (after hitting Melbourne up for three shows) for her first Sydney Eras Tour concert on Friday, February 23. She will also perform on Saturday 24, Sunday 25 and Monday 26 before heading to Singapore to sing her heart out for a whole SIX shows. ( Here’s where Taylor Swift is staying in Sydney and all the places she could be eating at .)

What time will Taylor Swift come on stage?

All gates to Accor Stadium will open at 4.30pm... for those people who are reaaaaally keen to get in early to secure some merch . However, every single seat at the Sydney nights of the Eras Tour is assigned, which means there’s no point rocking up super early to get a spot in the (non-existent) mosh pit.

The music will kick off at 6.20pm, with pop princess Sabrina Carpenter as the opening act. We can’t be 100 per cent sure exactly what time Taylor will come on stage, but all signs point to around 7.30pm or 8pm at the latest.

What can I bring to Taylor Swift Sydney?

There are specific rules for what you can and can’t bring to Taylors Eras Tour in Sydney. Here are the main things to remember:

You can bring:

  • One bag with a maximum of two compartments, smaller than A4 size. It doesn’t need to be clear, in case you were wondering.
  • Friendship bracelets (of course), but you're meant to wear them on your arms!
  • A rain poncho
  • A portable charger smaller than the size of your phone
  • Sunscreen, but not the aerosol kind
  • A sealed, clear, soft plastic water bottle no larger than 600ml

You can’t bring:

  • Outside food
  • D-rings or carabiners for friendship bracelets
  • Signs bigger than 28 x 45cm
  • Studded jewellery (sorry Rep girlies)
  • Metal or hard plastic containers

Are there any Taylor Swift Sydney tickets left?

This won’t come as a shock to anyone, but demand for Taylor Swift tickets has been through the roof (and into the stratosphere, at this point). A  limited number of new Taylor Swift tickets  went on sale at 4pm on Thursday. Aside from the new tickets, resale through Ticketek Marketplace is your best bet – be wary of scams on other platforms!

What’s the full setlist for the Eras Tour?

The Eras Tour has a setlist like no other, spanning a staggering three hours (and 44 songs). Since the tour has already been travelling around the world, we mostly know what to expect, save for some nightly ‘surprise songs’. Here’s the Eras Tour setlist for Australia:

Who will be supporting Taylor Swift in Sydney?

Singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter ( who Taylor dined with at Pellegrino 2000 ) will be supporting Taylor on the Aussie leg of the Eras Tour. She's best known for hit songs 'Nonsense', 'Feather' and 'On My Way'. On Tuesday, February 13, a new batch of tickets dropped for the Sydney shows – as expected, they were snapped up quickly and sold out within hours. The tickets on sale were for seats with partially obscured views.

All the biggest moments from Taylor Swift's Eras Tour shows in Sydney as they happened

By Chantelle Bozicevic, April Glover, Bronte Gossling, Kahla Preston and Karishma Sarkari | 6 months ago

After seven shows, playing to more than 624,500 screaming fans inside the stadiums (and thousands more waiting desperately outside them) and breaking three tour records, it's all over.

The tour we have been talking about for eight months has played its last show Down Under.

Taylor Swift is set to depart Australia for the next leg of the Eras Tour in Singapore, leaving her new favourite haunt, Sydney Zoo , and all of her devastated Aussie fans behind.

On Monday, Swift played to a record Sydney audience of 84,500, gave out her final 22 hat and surprised the audience one last time with a couple of song mashups – featuring some of the most beloved tracks in her back catalogue, making Australia enemy number one in the global Swift fandom in the process – in her acoustic set.

taylor swift sydney australia tour

Here, for the last time, are the most memorable moments from Taylor Swifts Eras Tour in Sydney.

The final surprise songs

It's official: the game of trying to predict surprise songs for each Aussie show is done and dusted.

Swift's first surprise song of the night, performed on guitar, was a mashup of Would've, Could've, Should've and ivy.

As these are two fan-favourite tracks, the reaction from Swifties missing out on the show has been... intense.

The second mashup, performed on piano, was Forever and Always with Maroon .

To put it mildly...

'Rack off, mate'

If there are three words we never thought we'd hear during a Taylor Swift concert, it would be these.

Taylor Swift performs We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together in Sydney, February 26, 2024.

Swift and her dancer Kam have executed another tone-perfect lyric tweak during We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together , continuing the tradition of changing "like, ever" to a local saying or reference for each touring destination.

Tonight, Kam declared, "Rack off, mate" in a near-perfect Aussie twang.

Take a bow: we appreciate the commitment to the bit.

Another youngster's dreams come true

For the fourth night in a row, Swift has put a huge smile on a young fan's face by presenting them with her hat during the performance of 22.

This, right here, is pure joy.

Yet another record smashed

Just in case Taylor Swift needed yet another feather to stick in her cap, she's just made history for Accor Stadium.

According to the venue's Twitter account, the American pop icon is the first artist to perform there four nights in a row.

It almost didn't happen; cast your mind back to mid-2023 when the Eras Tour Australian tickets went on sale, there were only three dates locked in for Sydney.

However, after immense demand, Swift delighted fans by adding a fourth show, a win-win situation as it turns out!

Six words screamed from Aussie stadium for the last time

With the last Eras Tour concert comes the last time we'll hear the fan chants associated with the show on Aussie soil... at least until Swift returns for her next tour.

Accor Stadium has just heard its last "1, 2, 3, let's go bitch!", the chant shouted in the opening section of Swift's song Delicate:

Sydney ticketholders have also had the unique privilege of being able to embrace the iconic "Sydney!" chant during Blank Space .

The chant originates from the concert film for Swift's 1989 World Tour, which was filmed in Sydney. During the track, Swift conducted an 'experiment', looping her voice shouting "Sydney!" along with the metallic thump of a cane hitting her microphone stand as she sang the bridge.

She actually did this with the name of every city she visited during the 1989 tour, but because the Sydney show was committed to film, it's the version of the chant that's become world-famous.

Taylor Swift performs at Accor Stadium on February 23, 2024 in Sydney, Australia.

While Swift hasn't repeated that little sonic experiment during the Eras Tour, Sydney fans knew exactly what to do when she reached the Blank Space bridge.

It's a rain show, folks

Swift is no stranger to playing in the elements, so a spot of rain will hardly dampen her spirit.

"You guys ready to dance with me in the rain?" she asked.

One fan has captured her joyous reaction to a sprinkle from the skies at Accor Stadium:

Another record smashed

After she played to a record 96,000 people in Melbourne's MCG, Swift declared her Night Four concert in Sydney her biggest in the Harbour City.

"Looking at this crowd, the biggest crowd we've had at our four shows here!" she told the crowd of 84,500.

'Never beating the favourite child accusations'

Swifties around the world are convinced Australia is the singer's "favourite child", all thanks to the way she's shaken up her surprise song tradition while in the country.

Swift not only voided her original declaration that no surprise song would be repeated during the tour, but she also began performing mashups of multiple songs.

Taylor Swift performs on stage at Melbourne Cricket Ground on February 16, 2024 in Melbourne, Australia.

It hasn't gone down well outside of Australia, and the two mashups performed on Sunday night have only cemented the "evidence" that we're her favourites.

Swift merged Is it Over Now with I Wish You Would , before performing a melange of Haunted and exile .

"Sydney n3 getting the best surprise songs so far," one tweeted with a gif of a crying woman.

"Haunted x Exile? Are you for real Taylor? Australia is truly the favourite child," another wrote.

Lily's special moment

Lily Taylor Swift SB

A school speech about her admiration for Taylor Swift paid off in the most spectacular way for five-year-old Aussie fan, Lily.

In 2023, the youngster won hearts all over the internet when a video of her delivering the speech was shared online.

"People ask me all the time what I want to be when I grow up - a doctor? A teacher? But no, I want to be a singer like Taylor Swift," she began.

Mum Jess waited in line for three hours to get merch for herself and Lily.

Lily shared some fun facts about Swift, including her age, number of cats and most recent albums, before diving into the important stuff.

On Sunday night, Lily was the lucky recipient of her idol's 22 hat, enjoying a special encounter at the end of the stage.

The schoolgirl presented Swift with a friendship bracelet before the pair hugged.

 'Tell him he's dreamin''

Taylor Swift is officially one step closer to receiving an honourary Australian citizenship*, thanks to her latest shoutout to our culture. (*According to us, at least.)

During Saturday night's performance of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together , the singer updated one lyric with a nod to a defining title in the Aussie movie canon: The Castle .

Taylor swift dancer kam

In the song's bridge, Swift replaced the spoken lyric "like, ever" – spoken by her dancer, Kam – with "tell him he's dreamin'", the line made famous by Michael Caton's character in the 1997 movie, Darryl Kerrigan.

Clearly, Swift does her homework.

This lyric change occurs in every show, with the singer tweaking it to reflect the country she's performing in at the time, using a local catchphrase or pop culture reference. In her first Aussie show, she went with another classic: "Yeah, nah."

A keyboard malfunction

Swift continued her very new tradition of performing mashups of multiple songs during her 'surprise song' segment – something she began during her Melbourne shows.

However, she faced a little hurdle on Saturday as she sat at the piano for her second mashup of the night. Touching her fingers to the keys, a synthesiser sound rang out.

"What? You hear that?" she asked, audibly baffled as she continued to hit the key.

"My damn keyboard is playing a synth sound. I wonder if it'll work though, I don't think it will…"

Fortunately, a stagehand was able to quickly switch the keyboard back into piano mode, and Swift proceeded with her performance of New Year's Day and peace .

Scarlett's wish come true

There has been a really sweet interaction between Swift and nine-year-old fan Scarlett, who has been diagnosed with a rare brain tumour and given only months to live.

Scarlett's parents started a social media campaign to get their daughter the 22 hat and after fans shared and re-posted their pleas, it seems like Swift and her team heard the call.

The Perth girl was taken to the stage, where the singer hugged her and kissed her hand after a short chat.

Watch the video above.

Young fan Scarlett receives a hat from Taylor Swift during her performance at Accor Stadium on February 23, 2024 in Sydney, Australia.

While it wasn't the record crowds that the MCG had, there's one thing Sydney had that Melbourne didn't - her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce.

The Kansas City Chiefs player, who touched down in Australia on Thursday, was proudly watching Swift perform from the VIP section while wearing a whole host of friendship bracelets on his wrists.

Here's how the night unfolded and all the big moments from Swift's first Sydney show:

Swift's special surprise for fans who missed out

While more than 80,000 fans were successful in securing tickets for Friday's show, thousands more missed out – but Swift certainly didn't forget about them.

During the concert, at around 10.40pm AEDT, she went live on Instagram so supporters at home could watch as she revealed an alternate cover for her upcoming album The Tortured Poets Department before inviting Sabrina Carpenter to the stage.

One 9honey team member was among those watching along at home, describing the moment Swift's Instagram Live appeared in her feed as "so exciting".

Reliving the highlights

New pics from tonight's show at Sydney's Accor Stadium have dropped, which means a chance to relive parts of the night - specifically, the Folklore, Speak Now and Reputation Eras.

Taylor Swift performs at Accor Stadium on February 23, 2024 in Sydney, Australia.

That's a wrap

Swift ended the show in her Midnights Era, which is her latest album.

The singer started off in a purple sparkly number with a fluffy coat as she sang Lavender Haze.

The minidress very soon made way for a blue beaded bodysuit as the pop star performed songs Anti-Hero , Midnight Rain , Vigilante Shit , Bejeweled and Mastermind.

The confetti went off on the final track Karma around 11.15pm - after the singer had been performing for three and a half hours.

The last song also featured a subtle little tribute to beau Kelce, with Swift singing: "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs."

The switched up lyric, which is not a first, is a nod to the NFL Super Bowl-winning team the Kansas City Chiefs.

Another alternate album cover revealed

Taylor used the acoustic portion of the evening to announce another (third!) album cover for the upcoming The Tortured Poets Department.

This edition of the vinyl features a new bonus track called The Albatross and fans are already looking into the possible meaning of the track name, noting the meaning of albatross goes beyond birds.

Alternate meanings fans found include: "something that causes persistent concern or anxiety" and "something that greatly hinders accomplishment".

Swift brings Sabrina Carpenter on stage

After Sabrina Carpenter gave up her warm-up act due to the weather delays, Swift brought her out on stage during the acoustic set.

Swift labelled it "a crime" that the crowd had missed out on Carpenter's set, delighting fans with a performance together instead.

"My incredibly talented, wonderful, gorgeous, hilarious, genius opening act Sabrina Carpenter," Swift said, welcoming the singer on stage.

"She heroically sacrificed her show which I think is a crime against Sydney and I think it needs to be fixed!"

Swift explained the song White Horse, from the album Fearless , is one that was important to Carpenter as a kid, so that's why they chose it to sing tonight.

Sitting at the piano together, eager fans noticed the performance was actually a medley with Coney Island .

Fans are already flooding social media with a clip of Sabrina as a kid covering the track, reminding people to dream big.

The duo appear close with the singers spotted out to dinner together in Paddington earlier in the week .

'This is my favourite part of the night'

Taylor Swift wore her pink dress as she played her guitar for the "acoustic set", as she calls it.

"This is my favourite part of the night, the acoustic set," Swift said.

Fans have labelled this portion of the evening the "surprise song" section because the singer performs two tracks that are not on the usual set list and fans have turned it into a guessing game online ahead of each show.

Tonight's two song set kicked off with How You Get The Girl from the album 1989.

"Do you know how loud you're singing? It's so loud," Swift told the crowd during her first song.

Swift also took a moment to acknowledge the fans getting behind the chant during Blank Space on such an epic level moments earlier, during the 1989 Era.

"I was hoping you would and you did. That was so cool!"

So cool in fact, Swift sang a line from the song again for the crowd to chant one more time.

Why everyone's suddenly looking at Katy Perry

Swift has kicked off her 1989 Era in a beaded pink two-piece ensemble.

This set features sooo many hits from the album, originally released in 2014 - when the song Bad Blood was reportedly written about a feud with singer Katy Perry.

Flash forward 10 years and the duo have patched up their friendship, with Perry in the crowd tonight.

So everyone's looking to the audience for the I Kissed A Girl singer's reaction (after everyone dances to Shake It Off and Wildest Dreams first).

New pics in

New pics have dropped from earlier in the show - featuring Tay Tay in her Lover Era at the start of the show and then during her Evermore Era.

Taylor Swift performs at Accor Stadium on February 23, 2024 in Sydney, Australia

The Folklore cabin

Swift came out on stage for her Folklore Era in a white flowing dress.

She started the seven-song set by explaining to the crowd the origin of the Folklore cabin, which came about when she started writing the album two days into the pandemic (you know that 2020 thing!?!) because she wanted to create imaginary worlds.

The singer started with The 1 before performing crowd pleasers, such as the single Cardigan as well as Betty , Last Great American Dynasty and August.

Sick fan gets moment with star

Swift is in her Red Era on stage, which means a hat giveaway to one lucky fan, who this show was nine-year-old Scarlett from Perth who has been diagnosed with cancer.

It seems the singer and her team paid attention to Scarlett's stepmum's plea on social media, with the youngster selected from among the 81,000 fans to get the special souvenir - and people on social media were thrilled.

The singer, wearing the "a lot going on a the moment" T-shirt again, kicked off the set with 22 before handing over the part of her costume.

Then she launched into hit after hit, including We Are Never Getting Back Together (another big singalong moment), followed by I Knew You Were Trouble and All Too Well (10 Minute Version) .

Switching things up

After wearing her purple enchanted dress for the Speak Now Era for her Melbourne shows, Swift has opted to switch things up, wearing a blue ballgown for Sydney instead.

Both are couture dresses made by Nicole + Felicia, who produced three in total for the singer.

Taylor Swift performs at Accor Stadium on February 23, 2024 in Sydney, Australia.

This blue gown was debuted at Swift's Los Angeles concert in August.

The singer performed the songs Enchanted and Long Live.

All eyes on Travis

Plenty of fans have been paying as much attention to Travis Kelce as they have been to Taylor Swift, with clips of the proud boyfriend popping up across social media.

The NFL star was dressed in blue shorts and and T-shirt, with his wrists full of friendship bracelets.

He arrived at the stadium with the singer's dad, Scott Swift (wearing black), and his friend Ross (in yellow).

A fan of the Aussie accent

Swift has revealed she's a fan of the Aussie accent, telling the crowd: "You pronounce my name cuter than anyone else in the world!"

The singer's now moved into her Reputation Era, starting with Ready For It? , then Delicate, Don't Blame Me , Look What You Made Me Do.

'I wanted us to not lose touch'

Sitting behind her moss-covered piano during the set for her Evermore Era, Swift acknowledges it's been a while since she last played for a Sydney audience.

"Sydney is such a special place in my heart, so many special memories here," Swift started.

Explaining that "things got in the way" not long after her 2018 Reputation Tour (ahem, pandemic), the singer explained she tried to keep her fans entertained in other ways.

"I wanted us to not lose touch, so I put out as many albums as humanly possible," Swift said before listing off the albums that came after, including Lover , Folklore , Evermore and Midnights .

She used the opportunity to plug her upcoming album The Tortured Poets Department before launching into the song Champagne Problems .

Accor Stadium lights up

Doesn't it look pretty!?

Celebrity audience members

It's not just Travis Kelce that fans have spotted in the VIP section at Accor Stadium.

Rita Ora and Taika Waititi have been seen watching the show and also Katy Perry - who was captured on camera swapping friendship bracelets with a random member of the audience.

Perry is in Sydney to play a private gig on Saturday night.

Singalongs in full swing

Swift briefly addressed the weather delays, telling the audience: "We had a little bit of a weather situation, a little bit of rain, but I have never known an Aussie crowd that let anything get in the way!"

The 34-year-old then moved into her Fearless Ear, which includes some of Swift's biggest hits, such as You Belong With Me and Love Story - and the Sydney crowd is going off by singing along very loudly.

Not quite the record-breaking crowds

After playing the biggest concert of her career last Friday night at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, with 96,000 people in the audience, the first Sydney show at Accor Stadium has 15,000 fewer people.

But Swift it still loving the crowd energy, telling them: "You're really making me feel like tonight I get to play a sold-out show for 81,000 people in Sydney!"

Taylor Swift takes the stage for her first Sydney show of the Eras Tour

Taylor is on stage

Swift has made her way out on stage - again popping up 10 minutes ahead of the 8pm start time.

She's hit the stage again in her Lover Era, starting with Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince, which moves into Cruel Summer .

Travis spotted in the crowd

Travis Kelce has been spotted in the crowd wearing blue, watching his girlfriend alongside his mate Ross, who is dressed in yellow.

Sabrina skipped

The weather delays meant organisers have decided to skip Sabrina Carpenter's support act with keen fans noticing her band and equipment weren't out on stage when they finally were able to get inside the stadium.

Instead, to keep things tracking on-time, the line up has jumped straight to headliner, Swift, so that she doesn't have to cut any of her set list (which, let's face it, is the real reason everyone's there).

Weather delay

All day, ticketholders have waited anxiously to see if warnings of serious storms would come to fruition.

It appears the concerns have been founded, with the show's start time delayed due to weather.

A sign on display at Accor Stadium instructed attendees to "stay undercover until further notice".

However, there's a promising sign, with a rainbow above the stadium!

Sydney trains getting into the Swiftie spirit

Not even Sydney's public transport network can resist the lure of Swiftmania.

Fans are getting a kick out of boarding the "Tay Tay Express" as they make their way to Accor Stadium for the show.

Trains are playing Swift songs, and displaying some of her hit titles in place of usual Sydney train station names.

Sydney's Central Station has also been decked out in celebration, with balloon arches and poster walls for fans to pose with.

Sydney's Central Station decorated for Taylor Swift's Eras shows.

Divide among Swifties after ticketing chaos

A plethora of fans have been bonding outside Accor Stadium as they line up for merchandise, but at 4.30pm, only some of them will be able to go through the gates.

For those forced to remain outside the stadium while they can hear all the excitement within, it's a bitter reminder of the ticketing chaos that's been intermittent since June.

Although there was a shortfall of millions when it came to ticketing supply, some lucky Swifties got tickets for multiple shows – which for others leaves a bitter taste in their mouths.

Taylor Swift

"I mean, each to their own, but there's so many people that wanted to come and couldn't," Jessie and Nick, who are going to the show tonight, told 9honey Celebrity's reporter on the ground Chantelle Bozicevic.

"I definitely think it's unfair. Like, there's people that have gone to every Melbourne and every Sydney show and there's so many people that missed out completely. It's a bit greedy. But, like, good for them."

taylor swift sydney australia tour

Nick called those with multiple tickets "the bad guys of The Eras Tour".

But Central Coast mother and daughter Sally and Charlotte, who failed to get any tickets, disagree with Jessie and Nick – they're just happy for anyone who gets to go.

'Hidden' merchandise tent with no lines revealed

Lines for the chance to buy Swift's merchandise from the three tents at the front of Accor Stadium have been absolutely packed, with some fans claiming it took them four hours to get to the front.

Swift fan Holly from Sydney told 9honey Celebrity's reporter on the ground, Chantelle Bozicevic, that she had been waiting since 7am, and finally made her purchase at 12.30pm.

Taylor Swift

According to Bozicevic, however, there's a fourth merchandise tent "hidden around the back" of the stadium with "barely any line".

That tent opens at 3pm, Bozicevic says security told her. But as of 2.30pm, the front three tents' lines had quietened right down.

Red Frogs have been handing out sunscreen and water to those waiting in line in the heat.

SES urges concertgoers to make safe and sensible decisions in severe weather

NSW State Emergency Service (SES) has urged those going to Sydney Olympic Park tonight to make safe and sensible decisions in the forecasted severe weather.

"We may see some very poor weather this afternoon and evening across parts of Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Illawarra, parts of the South Coast and eastern parts of the Southern Tablelands," Chief Superintendent Burnes said.

"The weather expected may make things like travelling hazardous, with high end heavy rain and flash flooding a possibility.

"We are working very closely with the Bureau of Meteorology to monitor the situation and will provide further warnings and updates to the community as required."

NSW SES has increased its rostered staff, incident management personnel and volunteers ahead of Swift and Blink-182's concerts tonight.

"The NSW SES is well prepared to provide assistance and respond to any damage these storms cause. We're preparing for an increase in incidents due to the expected heavy rainfall," he said.

He recommended installing the Hazards Near Me app, visit bom.gov.au or ses.nsw.gov.au for the latest weather advice, call NSW SES on 13 25 00 for emergency help in floods and storms, and in life threatening situations, call 000 immediately.

2GB prize phone line melts down during giveaway

Radio host Ben Fordham put out the call to listeners to give the prize line a ring this morning for a chance to win tickets, but the sheer volume of callers caused a meltdown for their phone line .

"The prize line has died, the prize line is no longer working," the Fordham said.

Ben Fordham Live! Content Director Luke Davis said the sheer volume of calls was "absolutely extraordinary".

"We've never seen anything like it," Davis told Fordham.

More tickets will be available throughout the day, fans just need to tune in 2GB radio and call in when they are prompted.

What time does Taylor Swift's Sydney concert start?

Before she stepped onto the MCG's stage last Friday, it was widely believed that Taylor Swift would start her set at 8pm.

She actually started her show at 7.30pm, which caught a slew of fans unaware while they were lining up for the bathroom, forcing them to rush through the stadium in a panic to get to their seats in time.

Accor Stadium's gates open at 4.30pm – there have actually been fans lining up outside the stadium to buy merch since this morning – and Sabrina Carpenter, Swift's opening act, is expected to start her portion of the show at 6.20pm.

COMPETITION: Win a $15,000 cruise holiday to see the Northern Lights

Set times are, however, subject to change without notice, so it's advised by Frontier Touring to get to the stadium early.

With a severe weather warning having been issued as well, this could see Swift's start time delayed or changed for safety issues – the stage, like it was for 10 minutes before her first Nashville show, might need to be squeegeed, after all.

Keep an eye on Frontier Touring and Accor Stadium's websites and social media pages for updates, though we'd like to emphasise once again that they have said set times could change without notice.

As it stands, Accor Stadium's website currently reads: "The show will play rain or shine. The only exception would be severe weather which could impact the safety of artists and patrons."

A taste of what to expect tonight

One TikTok user shared footage from a sound check conducted at Accor Stadium on Thursday night, and it's safe to say that the concert tonight will be loud.

Here's what you need to know about preventing hearing damage at the concert .

Swifties, prepare for Uber chaos

Rideshare app Uber has issued a warning for Swifties wanting to order an Uber to Accor Stadium before and after Taylor's Sydney shows.

Almost 15,000 Uber trips were facilitated to and from the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) over the weekend, and the company expects Sydney to be even bigger.

Dom Taylor, Uber spokesperson, said in a statement: "With almost 5000 rides per show in Melbourne, Uber driver-partners have helped hundreds of thousands of fans 'Get Ready For It' and experience the Taylor Swift phenomenon.

"We're expecting that number to double as Taylor takes the stage in Sydney later this week."

Around 300,000 Swifties are expected to descend upon Accor Stadium for the four nights between February 23 to 26.

Last-minute ticket grab for desperate Sydney fans

A little over 24 hours before Taylor Swift takes the stage in Sydney, Frontier Touring announced it was selling last-minute tickets to all four of her remaining shows Down Under.

Fans were quick to flood the comment section with messages about quick-fire sale, with some urging Sydney Swifties to try their luck.

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of The Eras Tour.

"Good luck Sydney peeps. 16:00 this day a week ago I got 2x tickets for one of the #MelbourneTSTheErasTour Total cost was $140 and our kids got lifelong memories. Got to be in it to win it! Go for it!," one wrote.

"You better let me in today!!!" another joked.

Frontier has also confirmed physical tickets were available for this drop. An hour later, though, the ticket sale was exhausted.

However, Frontier gave us all another small ray of hope by revealing extra ticket drops may occur throughout the rest of the shows for Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

"Please note, as mentioned in the post, late production releases may occur across show days. The best place to check this is the Ticketek website," Frontier said in a statement on X.

Remember the stadium rules

About 400,000 people are expected to flock to Sydney Olympic Park from Friday until Monday, with Blink 182 also performing. And there are some important rules we need to follow.

Bags need to be the size of an A4 sheet of paper, you can't bring in video cameras or equipment and phone chargers can't be bigger than the phone itself.

No outside food or beverages will be allowed inside the venue. However you will be permitted to bring an empty, soft plastic water bottle no bigger than 600ml.

You can find a full list of all the rules here.

Weather warning for Friday's show

Swift fans heading to Accor Stadium for the first Sydney Eras Tour concert have been issued a weather warning.

Severe thunderstorms and rain are set to hit during Swift's three-hour show. "Severe thunderstorms are likely across eastern #NSW on Friday with damaging winds, large hail and heavy rainfall," BoM said on X (formerly Twitter).

Although a rainy performance might not be ideal, Swift has previously revealed she enjoys a rain-soaked show and rarely ever cancels, especially over a bit of wet weather .

Plus, it gives you a great excuse to whip out your bedazzled poncho for the evening.

Here's how to bejewel your poncho.

Taylor and Travis' romantic zoo date

Taylor Swift is such a fan of Aussie animals that she made a surprise visit to Sydney zoo in the city's west – not once, but twice.

The Lavender Haze singer was photographed enjoying the zoo and cuddling up to a koala on Wednesday, and she returned to Sydney Zoo on Thursday with her NFL star beau Travis Kelce in tow.

The couple walked hand-in-hand around the site during a private after-hours tour, where they met the koalas and fed kangaroos.

How to access your tickets for Taylor Swift's Sydney shows

There is one thing Sydney ticketholders must do as soon as possible to ensure easy entry, a spokesperson for Ticketek warns.

"The most important message is to make sure that fans download the Ticketek app and add their ticket to their Google or Apple Wallet ASAP," the Ticketek spokesperson urges.

Taylor Swift performs at Accor Stadium on Feb. 23, 2024 in Sydney, Australia.

Taylor Swift just finished one of the most massive legs of her touring career in Australia, playing for about 600,000 fans total across seven shows in the land down under. And at her final concert in Sydney’s Accor Stadium, the 34-year-old pop star shared Monday (Feb. 26) that she was blown away by the turnout.

All the Surprise Songs Taylor Swift Has Performed on The Eras Tour (So Far)

Trending on billboard.

“Here’s what happens in our last show in a city,” she added. “We have been saving our energy for you.”

Monday’s concert closes out four Eras shows at Accor, which followed Swift’s three-night stint at Melbourne’s Cricket Ground. The “Anti-Hero” singer’s Australian run featured announcements for both the “Bolter” and “Albatross” editions of her upcoming album The Tortured Poets Department , as well as several unprecedented mashups during her nightly surprise song sections. (At her finale concert in Sydney, she sang combos of “Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve” and “Ivy,” and “Forever & Always” and “Maroon.”)

Swift’s Feb. 23 show marked the first Eras concert Travis Kelce has been able to attend since November, which the 14-time Grammy winner once again celebrated by changing her “Karma” lyrics to give the Kansas City Chiefs tight end a sweet shoutout. Instead of “Karma is the guy on the screen,” she belted, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs,” while Kelce danced along near VIP tentmates Katy Perry and Rita Ora.

“Dates have been booked for Taylor at the MCG in Melbourne, Aus. So, she’s definitely coming to Australia!”

What Other Countries Will Taylor Visit?

Initially, the Eras tour was slated for US locations only .

When Taylor announced the tour back in November 2022, she wrote, “I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, a journey through the musical eras of my career (past & present!).

“The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!”

Fast forward to May 2023 and the first round of international dates were (finally) announced.

On May 2, 2023, Taylor shared the news that she would bring Eras to Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil.

To top it off, she also announced that none other than Sabrina Carpenter would be the support act for the Latin American shows. Does it get much better than that?

taylor-swift-eras-tour-australia

Are Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide Getting Eras Tour Dates?

Taylor Swift has announced shows for Sydney and Melbourne only. Luckily, there are multiple dates in big stadiums, so if you live outside of those cities, now is the time to start saving for a trip to Sydney or Melbourne!

Will Any More Dates Be Announced For Australia?

Yes! Following presale, Taylor Swift announced two more dates for the Eras Tour, one in Sydney (Monday 26 Feb 2024) and in Melbourne (Sunday 18 Feb 2024).

Who Is The Support Act for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Australia?

Supporting Taylor for her Australian dates is none other than Sabrina Carpenter. The American singer has recently wrapped her own headline US tour, Emails I Can’t Send Tour and was recently announced as the support act for Taylor’s Latin America tour dates. Sabrina last visited Australia in 2014 for the Nickelodeon Slimefest.

Taylor Swift adds new Melbourne and Sydney shows to 2024 Australian tour, as organisers say no further dates will be added

American pop star Taylor Swift has added two new shows to her 2024 Australian tour, which organisers say will be the final dates to be announced.

Key points:

  • Two more Taylor Swift shows — one in Sydney and one in Melbourne — have been announced
  • Organisers say no further dates will be scheduled
  • Tour pre-sales have seen "unprecedented demand"

Swift's Eras Tour has added one additional show in Melbourne on Sunday, February 18, and another in Sydney on Monday, February 26.

Tickets for the new shows will go on sale on Friday, June 30, along with remaining tickets from the previously announced shows.

Tour promoters Frontier Touring said the announcement of two more shows came after "historically unprecedented demand" for tickets in this week's pre-sales.

"No further dates will be added for the Australian tour," the company said.

Frontier Touring said the additional shows meant Swift would be the first artist since Madonna to play three consecutive shows at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and the first artist ever to perform four straight concerts at Sydney's Accor Stadium.

The 2024 tour will be the singer's first Australian tour since 2018, and now includes seven shows across Melbourne and Sydney.

Brisbane was dropped from the Eras tour because Australia got "sandwiched" between dates in other countries , the chair of a venue management firm said earlier this month.

Swift sparked a ticket frenzy across Australia this week. Ticketek said it had stopped half a billion bots from gaming the system as 4 million people tried to secure tickets.

Google said search results for Swift in Australia had reached an eight-year high.

'Super stressful' queues before some get tickets

Antonia Touma's dining table was covered with six different devices yesterday, each fully charged and placed in the queue for tickets since 6am.

"We had group chats, texting when we need to do this, what needs to be done, whose laptops we're using, what devices we connected. Six devices ups our chances, we have to stay hopeful," she told AAP.

Fellow Swiftie Amite Skinner was also caught up in the search for tickets. Her sister, brother-in-law and nephew were all caught in hours-long virtual ticket queues for $900-a-seat VIP packages.

"I have always loved Taylor Swift. She has only been here once before and I sadly missed out,'' she said.

"The experience has been super stressful. I feel absolutely exhausted and deflated so far. It'll all change if I end up getting tickets."

The waiting game paid off for Ms Skinner, who secured four tickets just after midday on Wednesday.

NOT A DRILL: Taylor Swift Has Just Added Two Extra Dates To Her Australian Eras Tour

Tiketek made an announcement for the new tickets on Thursday November 9.

“Due to the demand, additional tickets including partially-obstructed side view tickets will be released with prices starting from $79.90,” it read.

“Limited tickets across all the Australian concert dates will be available from Friday 10 November at 10am for Sydney and 4pm for Melbourne until allocations are exhausted.” HUGE!!!!!!!!!

Previously, the demand for the shows prompted Miss Swift to add TWO more Eras Tour Australia dates to her time Down Under.

The queen giveth, the queen provideth.

Miss Swift added an extra show in Melbourne on February 18, and another in Sydney on February 26.

This makes Taylor the first artist since Madonna in 1993 to perform three shows at the MCG. That’s fkn huge.

Tickets for the extra shows went sale along with the original tickets back in June. While it wasn’t great news for our interstate hotties and pals in Aotearoa, it did give a little more hope to the hoards of people who missed out on pre-sale tickets.

If you missed out on tickets (sad), you can check out what resale sites are (and aren’t) recommended to buy tickets from . According to a Ticketek spokesperson, over four million people across Sydney and Melbourne were trying to snag tickets to see our glittery queen last time.

Now that there are more tickets up for grabs, we wish you good luck, godspeed, and may the odds be ever in your favour.

Ahead, we’ve compiled everything (and we mean everything ) you need to know about Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Australia.

When is Taylor Swift coming to Australia?

Taylor Swift will be performing two Eras Tour gigs in Melbourne and three gigs in Sydney in February 2024.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour Dates:

  • Friday 16 – Melbourne, MCG
  • Saturday 17 – Melbourne, MCG
  • Sunday 18 – Melbounre, MCG
  • Friday 23 – Sydney, Accor Stadium
  • Saturday 24 – Sydney, Accor Stadium
  • Sunday 25 – Sydney, Accor Stadium
  • Monday 26 – Sydney, Accor Stadium

When do Taylor Swift Eras Tour Australian tickets go on sale?

For those who were determined to be the first to get their grimy hands on Eras Tour tix in Australia, there were two pre-sale options. One was the American Express VIP package Pre-Sale which happened on June 26 and only sold VIP two packages — not general admission tickets.

After that, regular pre-sale and VIP tickets were available via Frontier Touring on Wednesday, June 28.

Unsurprisingly, the Frontier Member’s pre-sale was an absolute shit fight with many of us missing out.

General tickets went on sale Friday, June 30.

The new additional tickets will go on sale Friday, November 10. Sydney tickets will become available at 10am while the Melbourne allocation will be available at 4pm. What a time to be alive, my friends! Good luck to all!

What are the Taylor Swift ticket prices for Australia’s Eras Tour?

I hope you’re ready to drain your bank account and sell your firstborn because these bad boys are NOT cheap.

If you’re ready to go all out with A Reserve tickets, you’ll pay $379.90 a pop. But if you’re happy to just vibe along and don’t care where you sit, you could cop G Reserve tickets for $79.90.

Here’s how much tickets cost for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Australia:

How can I get Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets?

Ah yes, that little chestnut. It’s expected to be extremely difficult to get Eras Tour ticket as demand far outweighs ticket availability.

But don’t fret, we’ve put together a guide filled with handy tips on how to make sure you actually get tickets to the Taylor Swift Eras Tour .

While you’re at it, can you make sure you get one for us?

How does the Ticketek queue work for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour?

PEDESTRIAN.TV spoke to a Ticketek representative about exactly how the Ticketek queue works in anticipation of general ticket sales.

Learn how the Ticketek queue works here .

Where’s the best place to sit for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour?

Good question. We’ve compiled an entire guide on the best (and worst) places to sit for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour based on some clever Swifties on TikTok who are really doing god’s work.

What is the Taylor Swift Eras Tour setlist?

The  official set list  includes 44 songs (!!) and the Eras Tour is doing exactly what it promised — taking Swifties on a journey through all the musical eras of Taylor Swift.

The Eras Tour is the first tour for the pop star in five years, and she’s performing hit after hit for the duration of the show.

Warning: spoilers ahead.

Eras Tour Setlist:

  • Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince”
  • “Cruel Summer”
  • “You Need to Calm Down”
  • “The Archer”
  • “You Belong With Me”
  • “Love Story”
  • ” ‘Tis the Damn Season”
  • “Champagne Problems”
  • “Tolerate It”
  • “Ready For It?”
  • “Don’t Blame Me”
  • “Look What You Made Me Do”
  • “Enchanted”
  • “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”
  • “I Knew You Were Trouble”
  • “All Too Well (10-Minute Version)”
  • “The Last Great American Dynasty”
  • “Illicit Affairs”
  • “My Tears Ricochet”
  • “Blank Space”
  • “Shake it Off”
  • “Wildest Dreams”
  • “Bad Blood”
  • “Mirrorball”
  • “Tim McGraw”
  • “Lavender Haze”
  • “Anti-Hero”
  • “Midnight Rain”
  • “Vigilante Shit”
  • “Bejeweled”
  • “Mastermind”

OG fans will be thrilled to see bops like “Enchanted” and “Fearless” both making the cut for the setlist.

There are tracks off of her fourth studio album Red , including “I Knew You Were Trouble” and the 10-minute (yes,  10-minute ) version of “All Too Well”, so excuse me while I curl up into a ball and sob for the remainder of the day.

“Cruel Summer” also makes an appearance. I’ve never wanted to see someone dancing around on stage in a bedazzled leotard more in my life.

“Lavender Haze”, “Mirrorball” and “Style” are all confirmed for Eras and seriously, Taylor Swift knows what we want and she  gives it to us .

Even “You Belong With Me” got some air time. 12-year-old me is screaming .

Tracks from every single album appear to be making the cut. Why doesn’t every artist structure their live performances like this ?

And while many Aussies have been miffed over not having tour dates until 2024, there is a slight silver lining in that we might be able to see more songs from Speak Now (the best album, IMHO) on the setlist thanks to its re-release in July.

Why has there been so much drama over the location of Taylor Swift’s Australian Eras Tour shows?

Ooooh boy, there’s been a lot of whispers about the location of Taylor Swift’s Australian Eras Tour for months now.

It all kicked off from a Tweet posted in March when the oracular gossip site Deuxmoi hinted that Taylor Swift had already booked the country’s biggest stadium, the MCG, for her tour.

“Dates have been booked for Taylor at the MCG in Melbourne, Aus. So she’s definitely coming to Australia!” the Tweet read.

Shortly after this, an anonymous individual claiming to work for the MCG sent the Shameless podcast a DM claiming TayTay is defs on her way.

“Hush Hush but I work for the MCG and dates have been booked in for Taylor,” they wrote.

taylor swift shameless MCG tickets australia eras tour

Per the anon tea spiller, the “You Need To Calm Down” singer will be playing not one but TWO shows at the MCG.

Thankfully, they were right! Yahoo!

Is there any footage of the Taylor Swift Eras Tour?

For the last few months, Australians have been forced to watch footage from the Eras Tour unfold on TikTok, including vids featuring the likes of Hayley Williams ,  Gigi Hadid ,  and  Emma Stone straight-vibing. TBH, it’s had Aussie Swifties begging for a Taylor Swift Australia tour.

The Eras Tour kicked off on March 17 in the US, and based on the footage, it’s everything we wanted and more.

A ‘yuge thank you to all the overseas Swifties for the glorious footage from the Taylor Swift Eras Tour!

This tour is cracking up to be everything I could ever want in a T Swift tour, the song choices, the wardrobe changes, the set . Phenomenal, truly.

Taylor Swift Performs First Sydney Eras Tour Show After Delays from Rain and Nearby Lightning Strike

Travis Kelce, Katy Perry and Rita Ora were among the famous faces supporting Swift at her Eras Tour show in Sydney on Friday

A bit of rain can't stop a Taylor Swift show!

On Friday, the "Love Story" hitmaker, 34, took the stage in Sydney to perform night one of her Eras Tour gig in front of an 81,000-strong crowd at Accor Stadium. However, things got off to a damp start after the stadium floor had to be evacuated due to a nearby lightning strike, as seen in a video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

"Please note, due to weather, show start time has been delayed. Stay undercover until further notice and follow venue screens and staff instructions. Stay safe and remember to be kind to those around you," the stadium said in a statement before Swift's performance.

Swift took the stage just after 7:50 p.m. local time, according to the Sydney Morning Herald , and her support act Sabrina Carpenter didn't perform due to the weather delay.

“An Aussie crowd will never let anything get in the way,” Swift told the crowd, per the Sydney Morning Herald .

As usual, the show attracted a star-studded audience, with Katy Perry , Rita Ora , and Taika Waititi were among the guests at Friday's gig, as seen in a video shared by PopBase on X (formerly known as Twitter). And, of course, Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce was spotted in the audience . Several videos posted on X, showed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end entering the Sydney stadium and cheering on his girlfriend from a VIP tent.

The "Karma" musician, who was joined by Kelce, 34, in Sydney ahead of the shows, will perform at Accor Stadium on Feb. 24, 25, and 26, before heading to Singapore for the Mar. 2 show.

The Sydney gig comes after she performed to her biggest Eras Tour crowd yet last weekend at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.

Last Friday, Swift took the stage in front of 96,000 fans, meaning there were more people in the venue than any other concert to date, and she's had some huge gigs so far, including performing to a 74,000-strong crowd at  MetLife Stadium  in New Jersey in May.

"This is the biggest show that we have done on this tour or any tour I have ever done," Swift told the crowd in a clip  shared on X .

"That's the version you get of me tonight, the version that's completely starstruck by the fact that so many of you wanted to hang out with us on a Friday night in Melbourne," the "Red" singer added.

Ticket scalping and purchasing resale tickets

Do not purchase tickets from anywhere other than the official ticketing agency.

Please read the  Live Performance Australia Safe Tix Guide .

We have not allocated any tickets for the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour to unauthorised resellers (which include but are not limited to Viagogo; Stubhub; Ticketfinders; The Ticket Merchant; Worldticketshop; and Tixel).

We cannot guarantee any ticket purchased through unauthorised resellers or via websites such as eBay, Gumtree and social media Buy Swap Sell pages. To make sure you pay the correct ticket price and receive valid tickets, you must purchase via Ticketek Australia.

Frontier and Ticketek are not responsible for unauthorised ticket disputes and are unable to assist you if you purchase outside the official ticketing agency (Ticketek Australia).

What is unethical secondary ticketing and ticket resale?

Unethical secondary ticketing is when people buy tickets at face value and then resell them at inflated prices via unapproved methods and websites, thus denying real fans the chance to buy at face value.

This includes ticket touts and unauthorised resellers who use multiple payment cards, false identities and sophisticated computer programmes (‘bots’) to buy up large amounts of tickets which they then offer for resale at highly inflated prices.

How do I safely sell my tickets?

The reselling of any Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour ticket is strictly forbidden other than through Ticketek's official resale platform (called Ticketek Marketplace). Ticketek Marketplace is accessible HERE .

Ticketek Marketplace opened for the listing and resale of tickets at 10am AEDT on Friday 24 November 2023 and is available up until12pm AEDT on the show date for all tickets except VIP Packages and Hotel + Ticket Packages.

What else are you doing to combat the secondary market?

Your mobile phone number is linked to your ticket order. Your tickets are linked to both your Ticketek account AND your mobile phone number. This means your ticket and the individual information you gave when you purchased your ticket are linked. If a ticket is resold in any method other than via Ticketek's official resale platform, then the mobile phone number will not be linked to the ticket(s) and you will be refused entry to the venue.

What do I do if I get to the venue and believe I have purchased a fraudulent ticket?

If you have purchased tickets from anywhere other than the authorised ticketing agency, Ticketek, or their resale platform, Ticketek Marketplace, you risk not being granted entry to the venue. If you have any issues with your ticket on show day, please head directly to the venue Box Office. Please note, Box Office staff cannot assist those who may have obtained tickets through channels other than Ticketek or Ticketek Marketplace. You must have valid photo ID which matches the name of the Ticketek account for the Box Office staff to be able to assist you.

Melbourne Cricket Ground’s Box Office can be found at Gate 3 on the Northern side of the ground and at Gate 6 on the Shane Warne Stand side.

Chaos erupts outside Taylor Swift’s Sydney Eras show as last-minute tickets announced

Chaos erupted outside Accor Stadium last night as an announcement sent hordes of Swift fans running before the singer stepped on stage.

It seems Taylor Swift may have underestimated how beloved she is Down Under, that even right up until showtime, fans were clamouring for tickets.

In a new TikTok video taken on Night 2 of her sold-out Eras Tour in Sydney , fans who missed out on tickets who descended onto Accor Stadium anyway were seen running to the ticket booths when last minute tickets were announced over the speakers.

The clip, shared by user Melissa Aleksioska, showed hordes of Swifties rushing to the ticket booths for one last shot at getting their hands on the coveted seats.

“When they announce last minute tickets,” Melissa captioned the video.

Several TikTok users noted how “dangerous” the moment looked, with one commented that “people [are] about to be crushed”.

Another video on TikTok is getting attention after one user called out fans who arrived to the Sydney show one hour late.

A fan who wasn’t lucky enough to score a ticket aired their grievances on the platform, sharing a video of them sitting outside Accor Stadium while concertgoers arrived late and headed straight past them and into the arena.

“The people arriving at the Era Tour over 1 hour late vs. the fans who missed out on tickets and had to listen from outside,” the user captioned the video, while stationed outside the stadium on the ground.

However, some TikTok commenters suggested perhaps these fans were arriving late due to unforeseen circumstances or flight delays and cancellations because of the weather.

The user, who appeared to stay outside the stadium from start to finish, was also not impressed when some concertgoers left early while Taylor was still singing.

“Don’t even get me started on the people who left early,” they added.

Swift will perform another two sold-out shows in Sydney on Sunday and Monday, before jetting off to Singapore for the next leg of her tour.

The rock star climbed the Empire State Building to announce his tour, and he appears to be setting his sights to Sydney for his next stunt.

The popular British band cancelled its Australian tour with just hours before taking to the stage in Sydney.

“Is she this tone deaf?”: A simple post by so-hot-right-now pop star Chappell Roan has many of her diehard fans seeing red.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ‘Have a Plan’ to Keep Relationship ‘Fresh’ Amid Long Distance

With Travis Kelce starting his 2024 NFL season and Taylor Swift resuming the final leg of her Eras tour, the couple have devised a plan to keep their romance alive during their time apart, a source tells Life & Style exclusively.

"Taylor and Travis' summer of love is over and now they're having to adjust to being long distance lovers once again. He's back on the field and she's continuing her tour, but they have a plan, and some rules, on how they'll keep their relationship fresh," the insider reveals.

"They're not nervous about their romance getting stale. In fact, they're very confident in what they have. They plan on doing FaceTime daily and will continue to fly out to see each other when their schedules open up," the source continues.

Who Is Your Favorite Collaborator on Taylor Swift’s TTPD?

"Romantic dates are a must, even if it's just for a few hours. Either at out-of-the-way restaurants or holed in their hotel room with room service or their favorite takeout," the insider explains. "Taylor and Travis have perfected staying connected regardless of their busy lifestyles, proving that nothing, especially distance, can keep them apart."

The couple proved they are willing to go to very long distances for each other ever since unveiling their romance in September 2023, when Taylor, 34, attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game to watch Travis, 34, play.

When the "Blank Space" singer headed to South America for her Eras tour in November 2023, Travis flew to Buenos Aires, Argentina, during his bye week with the Chiefs. The athlete attended her November 11 concert, marking the first time he saw his girlfriend perform outside of her July 2023 Arrowhead Stadium stop, where Travis tried and failed to slip her his phone number through a friendship bracelet before they were dating.

Taylor managed to attend all of Travis' playoff games and the biggest one of all made worldwide news. The "Cruel Summer" singer performed the last of a series of concerts in Tokyo, Japan, on the eve of the Chiefs playing the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on February 11, with fans around the world wondering if she could make to Las Vegas, Nevada, in time for the game.

The Grammy winner hopped on her plane immediately after her show, flying overnight and arriving at Allegiant Stadium prior to kickoff. Taylor was in the stands to watch Travis take home his third Super Bowl ring.

When the pair reunited on the field following his victory, Travis was heard asking, "How do you not have jet lag right now?" to which Taylor responded, somewhat jokingly, " Jet lag is a choice ."

It was Travis' turn to travel again when Taylor began the Australia and Asia legs of her Eras tour following the Super Bowl. He attended shows in Sydney, Australia, and Singapore to support his girlfriend. After that, the pair had almost two months when both of their schedules were clear. Travis and Taylor took a tropical vacation and made her Beverly Hills mansion their home base .

Taylor kicked off her Eras tour Europe leg on May 9 in Paris. Travis flew over to attend her final night's performance in the City of Light on May 12.

The NFL star later gushed about the experience on the May 15 episode of his "New Heights" podcast, telling brother Jason Kelce , “It was fun. It was a blast. I had a blast at Tay’s show. Her new rendition of the Eras tour, I suggest everybody go see it. It has her new Tortured Poets Department [set]. A handful of those songs [are] in the new show, which means there’s a new segment and new lights and new dancing, new everything to the f--king show. I suggest everybody get out there and see [it]. It is absolutely unbelievable.”

Travis travelled across the Atlantic several more times throughout the summer, attending Taylor's Eras tour stops in London, Dublin, the Netherlands and Germany.

The "Anti-Hero" singer has five more stops left on her Eras tour before it finally comes to an end on December 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has shows in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis and Toronto from mid-October through November. However, the six Toronto dates are on Thursday through Saturday schedules, allowing Taylor to fly to wherever Travis might be playing on a Sunday.

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Verified Fan Onsale is using registration to ensure more tickets get into the hands of fans who want to go to the shows, not buyers looking to resell them.

Only fans that receive an email confirming their access will be able to join the queue for this Verified Fan Onsale. Fans who are selected will receive additional instructions on Wednesday, November 8. All others will be put on a waitlist.

Tickets for these shows will be in high demand, therefore, a limited number of fans will get access to the Verified Fan Onsale while others will be placed on the waitlist as described below. Access to the Verified Fan Onsale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while currently-available inventory lasts.

Registration is open from Thursday, November 2 at 8:00 a.m. PT through Saturday, November 4 at 5:00 p.m. PT .

Key Dates to Know

Thursday, November 2 – Registration opens Saturday, November 4 @ 5:00 p.m. PT – Registration closes Wednesday, November 8 – Fans will receive confirmation if they will have access to the Verified Fan Onsale or if they have been placed on the waitlist.

Thursday, November 9 – Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Verified Fan Onsale (only fans that received an email confirming their access will be able to join the queue for this sale). All shows will be assigned specific on-sale windows, which will be communicated prior to the start of the sale.

How Will This Sale Work?

Ticketmaster is helping artists give their fans a better opportunity to purchase tickets by creating an extra line of defense against bots and professional resellers who are looking to sell tickets for profit. The process includes three steps:

Step 1: Registration

By registering for the Verified Fan Onsale, you are letting us know that you’re interested in purchasing tickets. From the registration page, you sign into or create your account, select your preferred show(s) and register your email and phone number. Once completed, you’ll automatically receive a confirmation email letting you know that we got your request. It’s quick, easy and free to sign up.

Step 2: Verification

Next, Ticketmaster vets each request by confirming it belongs to an individual — not a bot — and that it hasn’t been tied to irregular behaviors that could be a sign of a professional seller attempting to access the sale.

Step 3: Access Code or Waitlist

When demand exceeds availability, a limited number of registered Verified Fans will get access to the sale and others will be placed on a waitlist. You’ll receive an email on Wednesday, November 8 letting you know which group you’re in. If selected to get access to the sale, you’ll receive a unique access code and purchase link via text message the day prior to your Verified Fan Onsale.

While no system can guarantee that all fans will get tickets to the show(s) they’re interested in, the Verified Fan program works to significantly block bots and professional resellers from competing against fans for tickets during the sale.

Common Questions

How do i register.

  • To register, please visit: HERE
  • Sign in using your My Account or create an account if you don’t have one.
  • Tell us what show you’re interested in and submit your registration; we’ll keep you up to date with all the latest information.

We’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know your registration was successful and what you can expect next.

If I receive access to the Verified Fan sale, am I guaranteed tickets?

No. Access means you have an opportunity to join the Verified Fan sale but it is not a guarantee you’ll be able to purchase tickets. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis while currently-available inventory lasts.

If I received access to the Verified Fan sale, how do I purchase tickets?

  • At the specified time, click the link you were sent.
  • You’ll enter the Smart Queue. To keep your place in line, stay on the page and don’t refresh. Do not open more than one browser window.
  • Once it’s your turn, shop for tickets by using your unique access code. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis while currently-available inventory lasts and aren’t guaranteed. Each event has a strict four (4) ticket limit per customer.
  • Then checkout!

How many tickets can I buy with my code?

You can purchase up to 4 tickets for the one show indicated in the text you received.

When will the Waiting Room open?

The Waiting Room will open 30 minutes before the designated Verified Fan sale window begins. When the Verified Fan sale begins, fans in the Waiting Room are assigned a spot in line. Once you reach the end of the queue, you’ll have an opportunity to shop for tickets. Stay on the page and don’t refresh or you may lose your spot in line.

You must use the same Ticketmaster account that you registered with to join the Waiting Room.

How do I join the queue?

Sign in through the link that we texted to the phone number you provided during registration to access the queue.

What can I do to prepare?

If you’ve been selected to participate in the Verified Fan sale, we recommend that you prepare by signing into your Ticketmaster account before the Verified Fan sale to make sure your billing information is up to date. This will help speed up the checkout process after you’ve selected the tickets you want to buy.

My link isn’t working. What should I do?

If you registered and received access to shop for tickets through text or email from Ticketmaster, but the link’s not working, try checking these things first:

  • Make sure the event is on sale. Links are sent out before the event goes on sale but won’t work until the event is actually on sale.
  • You must be signed in with the same email address you used to register for the Verified Fan sale.

Will there be other ways to buy Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour tickets?

The only official way to get Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour tickets is through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan Onsale or through certain other limited tour-sponsored onsale opportunities for specific shows. Be on the lookout for information on these other opportunities where available.

I got an email saying I’m on the waitlist. What does that mean?

If you’re currently on the waitlist, stay tuned — you may still have an opportunity to shop for tickets.

When there are more fans than there are tickets, a limited number of fans will get access to join at the start of the Verified Fan sale and others will be placed on the waitlist.

More fans may get access to join the Verified Fan sale based on ticket availability. If you’re selected, you will receive a text with a link to join the Verified Fan sale. Please note, moving off the waitlist does not guarantee access to tickets. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis while currently-available inventory lasts.

Can I register more than once to increase the likelihood that I am able to purchase tickets ?

Registering more than once for a specific event does not increase the likelihood that you are able to purchase tickets . If you want to change the event date you selected after you’ve registered, you can make those edits while the registration window is still open. We only keep the last registration you submitted.

I received a confirmation email after I registered, what does that mean?

The email is simply to inform you that we have received your registration and will be working to verify your account. It doesn’t guarantee that you will be selected for the Verified Fan sale access. A second email will be sent on Wednesday, November 8 letting you know if you will get access to the sale or if you’ve been placed on the waitlist. If selected, the day prior to your Verified Fan sale you’ll receive a text message with a unique access code and link to use.

I’m a real fan of this artist, and not a bot or reseller. Why didn’t I get access?

Selection is not a measure of how big a fan anybody is. Sometimes there simply aren’t enough tickets for everyone. When demand exceeds availability, a limited number of fans get access to the Verified Fan sale, and others must be placed on the waitlist. The number of fans who receive access depends on the number of tickets currently available — this is done to help create a less crowded ticket shopping experience for fans.

How will I know if I’ve been granted access to the Verified Fan sale after I’ve been placed on the waitlist?

If selected, you will receive a text with a unique access code and link to the ticket sale. In the event of any SMS/texting delivery issues, we’ll email your unique access code and link to the email address associated with your Ticketmaster account that you used to register. Access to the Verified Fan Onsale does not guarantee tickets. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis while currently-available inventory lasts. If you’re sent a unique access code and link you should join the Verified Fan sale as soon as possible for your opportunity to purchase tickets.

When demand exceeds availability, a limited number of registered Verified Fans will get access to the sale and others will be placed on a waitlist. You’ll receive an email on Tuesday, August 8 letting you know which group you’re in. If selected to get access to the sale, you’ll receive a unique access code and purchase link via text message the day prior to your Verified Fan Onsale.

The only way to get Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour tickets is through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan Onsale or through certain other limited tour-sponsored onsale opportunities for specific shows. Be on the lookout for information on these other opportunities where available.

The email is simply to inform you that we have received your registration and will be working to verify your account. It doesn’t guarantee that you will be selected for the Verified Fan sale access. A second email will be sent on Tuesday, August 8 letting you know if you will get access to the sale or if you’ve been placed on the waitlist.
