Team England tour of West Indies in  2024  will start on, November, 2024 & hosted by West Indies Cricket Board. England cricket team will  play 05 T20 & 03 ODI series in West Indies in 2024.

West Indies will host England for 05 men’s T20 & 03 ODI Series in November 2024 ,  However, under the leadership of  TBD, West Indies would outdo themselves in T20 cricket’s oldest competition.

England Men’s Cricket will tour the West Indies for a white ball series in November 2024

England’s Cricket team will tour of the Caribbean in late 2024 represents an interesting white ball challenge.

England also toured the West Indies in 2022, where Ventour was an official tour operator, and the 2024 series will consist of Three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and Five T20 Internationals.

According to the International Cricket Council ICC Future Tours Program 2023-27.  For the coming cycle England cricket team will tour of the West Indies, where he will compete in 5 T20 & 03 ODI series in West Indies in 2024.

Team England will tour of West Indies in the month of November 2024.  They will play 5 T20 & 03 ODI series in West Indies in 2024 against West Indies cricket team.  So this tour will be importan for both teams.

The International Cricket Council, the sport’s highest governing body, draws up a calendar for Test-playing nations, requiring each of them to play at least two bilateral series against each other over a ten-year period. (one at home and one away) is required to play. . Bare minimum is two. Countries can play more than two bilateral series in ten years if their boards agree, but they must play at least two series.

The sport’s highest governing body, the International Cricket Council, prepares a schedule for Test-playing nations, requiring them to play at least two  bilateral  series (one at home and one away) against each other over a 10-match period. England Men's 2024 home international summer will start with a four-game IT20 series against Pakistan, with Jos Buttler's world champions looking to get the summer off with a bang against the side they beat in the 2023 World Cup Final.

Ben Stokes' Test side then take centre stage with three Tests against West Indies in July and three more against Sri Lanka in August and September. 

That's before Buttler's white-ball teams return in September as England Men host Australia for three IT20s and five ODIs, culminating at Bristol on 29 September 2024.

Following the  tour to the West Indies a year prior, England’s tour of the Caribbean represents an intriguing white-ball challenge at the end of 2024 following Pakistan Test Series and then New Zealand for 3 more Tests.  Will they be home for Christmas or will there be a Boxing day test? Perfect timing to escape the advance of winter and soak up some winter sun.

We are expecting more news on this from April / May 2024 and will be running a variety of single and multi island tours as usual. It is likely there will be 3 ODI and 4 T20 matches. So expect to see the fireworks in the Caribbean this year and not in UK!

England tour of the West Indies: Full ODI & T20I squads for WI vs ENG

England have announced their squads for the white ball tour of West Indies in December, with only six members from the World Cup contingent making the ODI squad.

Less than 24 hours after England’s World Cup campaign came to a close, the ECB has announced the squads for the ODI and T20I tours of the West Indies.

After a dismal performance in the 2023 World Cup where they managed to win only three out of nine matches and finished seventh on the points table, there were discussions around a potential major overhaul, particularly with several players in the World Cup squad being in the latter phases of their careers.

The squads seem to have been picked keeping that in mind as only six players from England’s World Cup squad have been included for the ODI series, while the T20I squad still bears an experienced look.

England vs West Indies ODI and T20I series: Full schedule

England are scheduled to play three ODIs and five T20Is against the West Indies in their first international assignment after the 2023 World Cup. Their Caribbean tour will start off with the ODI series followed by the T20I series.

The ODIs will be played at Antigua (December 3 and 6) and Barbados (December 9), while the T20Is will be played across Barbados (December 12), Grenada (December 14 and 16), and Trinidad (December 19 and 21).

England fans face minimum five-year wait for West Indies Test tour

• No Test tour would be huge financial blow for region

England are poised to deliver a crushing blow to West Indies cricket and their own travelling supporters with no men’s Test tour of the Caribbean scheduled for at least the next five years.

According to a draft of the future tours programme for the period May 2023 to February 2027 – seen by the Guardian and due to be finalised at the ICC’s AGM in Birmingham this month – the England men’s team are scheduled to play just eight white-ball fixtures in the Caribbean during this time.

These come in a single tour early in the cycle – straight after the 50-over World Cup in India next year and thus likely to involve a weakened squad – with England’s only other visit thereafter being the T20 World Cup in 2024. It leaves a minimum five-year gap between Test tours of the Caribbean for England after their 1-0 series defeat in March .

This is likely to dismay the hordes of England supporters who flock to the region for the trip of a lifetime – around 10,000 were present in Barbados this year, with about 3,000 for the Tests in Antigua and Grenada – and the financial knock-on effect to Cricket West Indies will be significant.

England Test tours are worth at least $10m (£8.4m) to CWI (nearly double when combined with limited‑overs cricket). There is also a larger impact, with recent visits to have featured both Test and white‑ball cricket estimated to have been worth up to $100m to the region’s economy.

While bilateral internationals can be loss-makers for West Indies, England tours remain a significant revenue source for CWI in a global cricket economy that is skewed heavily against such a high-cost, low-income part of the world. West Indies have more than proved their strength as opponents too, with England registering just one Test series win in the Caribbean since 1968.

The England and Wales Cricket Board has pointed to a World Test Championship draw that was out of its control. But given its seat at the ICC top table, three non-WTC series versus New Zealand since 2019 (including one next winter) and seven fewer England men’s Tests than their 49 during the last cycle, it still appears a cold-shouldering of CWI after good relations in recent times.

West Indies sent men’s and women’s teams to the UK during the height of the pandemic in 2020, helping to prevent the ECB from suffering catastrophic losses. Though this led to an expansion of England’s return visit earlier this year – a two-Test series became three and three T20s became five – these favours were not exactly equal.

The next instalment of the future tours programme is one in which England, India and Australia look generally to maximise their lucrative encounters – all three nations play five-match Test series home and away against each other – but squeezes bilateral international cricket and boasts annual ICC tournaments.

A two-and-a-half-month window has been carved out for the expanded Indian Premier League and other boards are also looking to free up space so big-name players can feature in their franchise tournaments, including the Big Bash League and the Hundred. The Ashes in England next year, for example, will be over by the end of July.

England’s overseas men’s Test tours during this period include a five-match series in India in early 2024, three apiece in New Zealand and Pakistan later that year, a five-match away Ashes series in 2025-26, and three Tests in South Africa in 2026-27. The sole Test series against West Indies is three matches scheduled for the 2024 home summer.

The release of the itinerary for England's Test tour of New Zealand later this year has confirmed Ben Stokes' side will play matches in Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton.

Hagley Oval, the Cello Basin Reserve, and Seddon Park were on Tuesday confirmed as the venues for the three-match series.

Christchurch hosts the opening match from November 28-December 2, Wellington follows from December 6-10, before the series concludes in Hamilton from December 14-18.

New Zealand Cricket chief executive Scott Weenink said there were already indications that the three matches against Brendon McCullum's team would attract the same sort of bumper attendances witnessed for the two home tests against Australia in February and March.

"In the past, there's often been a lot of talk in New Zealand about the popularity of Test cricket - without that translating into ticket sales or viewership numbers," he said.

England host West Indies in July before Sri Lanka visit across August and September during a summer where attention may be more focused on limited-overs cricket.

The T20 World Cup takes place in the West Indies and United States in June, while England also have a five-match ODI series against Australia in September.

England are currently last in the World Test Championship table following a 4-1 series defeat to India at the start of the year.

Having won just three of their 10 matches since the 2023-25 edition of the competition began, England require a major turnaround to have a chance of reaching next year's final at Lord's.

LONDON (AP) — The England and Wales Cricket Board on Tuesday announced a three-test tour to New Zealand starting at Christchurch on Nov. 28.

After the series opener at Hagley Oval, the tour will move to the North Island for tests in Wellington from Dec. 6-10 and in Hamilton from Dec. 14-18.

The last time the test teams met in February and March of last year, they split a two-match series after England was on the verge of a 2-0 victory when skipper Ben Stokes enforced the follow-on. New Zealand won by one run — only the fourth team in history to win a test after following on — in the second test after England won the first by 267 runs.

The three matches at the end of this year form part of the World Test Championship, which New Zealand won in its inaugural edition before losing the title to Australia.

India, which has won six of nine tests in this edition, leads the WTC standings with Australia in second place and New Zealand in third. England is ninth ahead of home series against West Indies and Sri Lanka.

The top two teams will advance to a final at Lord’s in 2025.
