Spend an evening in the extraordinary company of Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE - 'the world's greatest living explorer' - as he goes beyond his record-breaking achievements to explore the man behind the myth.

Sir Ranulph has circumnavigated the surface of the globe from pole to pole, became the first person to cross the Arctic and Antarctica on foot, broken countless world records of endurance, and discovered the Lost City of Ubar in Arabia. Despite his infamous fear of heights, he is the oldest Briton to summit Everest, achieved on his third attempt. But these extraordinary accomplishments have come at a cost: he has lost half his fingers to frostbite, almost died countless times, and suffered a heart attack and double bypass only three months before he completed seven consecutive marathons in seven days on seven continents.

Now, he has a new challenge. Live on stage, Sir Ranulph will share stories from his legendary exploits and adventures, telling untold tales of the world's most extraordinary feats of daring and exploration. Taking us from his magical and mischievous childhood, through school misdemeanours, to his time in the military and beyond, Ran will also reveal for the first time his own personal heroes and the incredible lessons he learnt from them which have informed his hazardous profession.

Delivered in his own inimitable fashion and accompanied by stunning, never-before-seen images and home videos, this show guarantees to leave you entertained and inspired to seek out your own life adventures.

Our Sir Ranulph Fiennes show due to take place on 14 Jun 2021 has now been rescheduled for 19 April 2022. All tickets remain valid for the new date, please get in touch with your point of purchase if you have any questions.

Named by the Guinness Book of Records as ‘the world’s greatest living explorer’, Sir Ranulph Fiennes has spent his life in pursuit of extreme adventure, risking life and limb in some of the most ambitious private expeditions ever undertaken.

Amongst his many record-breaking achievements, he was the first to reach both Poles, the first to cross the Antarctic and the Arctic Ocean, and the first to circumnavigate the world along its polar axis.

In his new live show, Living Dangerously, Sir Ranulph Fiennes offers a personal journey through his life, from his early years to the present day.

Both light-hearted and strikingly poignant, the show revisits Sir Ranulph’s childhood and school misdemeanours, his army life and early expeditions.

He will also share insights into his transglobe expedition and his current global reach challenge - his goal to become the first person in the world to cross both polar ice caps and climb the highest mountain on each of the seven continents.

Sir Ranulph Fiennes’ many endeavours have pushed his endurance levels to the very limits, inspiring generations and making him a pioneer of exploration with an unparalleled story to tell.

Spend an evening in the extraordinary company of Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE – ‘the world’s greatest living explorer’ – as he goes beyond his record-breaking achievements to explore the man behind the myth.

Live on stage, Sir Ranulph will share stories from his legendary exploits and adventures, telling untold tales of the world’s most extraordinary feats of daring and exploration.

Ranulph Fiennes is a British adventurer & novelist that is best known today for his various exploits around the world.

He is especially hailed for being the first man to cross the Antarctica from one side to the other [via the pole] on foot.

He holds several Guinness World Records & as an author, he released over a dozen fiction & non-fiction books, most notably biography of famous explorer Captain Robert Falcon Scott. Fiennes was born on 7 March 1944 in Glasgow, Scotland, but he spent his youth in South Africa. After serving the Royal Army with Royal Scots Greys & Special Air Service, Fiennes began his life as an adventurer. He sailed across the White Nile in a hovercrafts (1969), explored Norway’s Jostedalsbreen Glacier.

His most ambitious adventure started in 1979, when he & his two friends Oliver Shepard & Charles Burton started the “Transglobe Expedition”.

They went from Greenwich England to the desert of Sahara, jungles of Mali & the Ivory Coast, & reached South Africa at Cape Town.

From there they sailed to Antarctica & crossed it from one side to another visiting South Magnetic Pole.

Next, they visited Australia, western shores of America, northern Canada & from there they successfully walked over Arctic visiting North Pole.

On August 29 1982, they successfully returned to Greenwich completing their 100.000-mile long route across the globe.

In following years, Fiennes led an expedition that discovered the lost city of Ubar in Oman. Fiennes also tried two times to cross Antarctica & one time Arctic on foot without any aid. He failed on all three attempts & managed to be evacuated to safety.

On May 2009, Fiennes successfully climbed on the summit of Mount Everest becoming the oldest British person to achieve that goal.
