Keith Urban Announces Summer 2022 Tour Dates

Since the pandemic, the majority of Keith Urban ’s live shows have been onstage in Las Vegas, part of his ongoing residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. This summer, however, the guitarist is returning to the road with the launch of the Speed of Now World Tour. Urban announced the summer 2022 trek on Wednesday.

“I’ve always considered myself a live performer first,” Urban said in a statement. “It’s what I’ve always done and it’s what my music needs to live and breathe. Our shows are all about living in the moment. They’re a totally interactive and immersive experience where everyone can participate in whatever way they want — sing, dance, do whatever.”

Urban, whose latest single is the inspirational “Wild Hearts,” will kick off the new tour June 17 in Tampa, Florida, at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre and spend the next six months winding his way through the U.S. and Canada. The run is slated to end Nov. 5 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ingrid Andress will open all dates.

Prior to the Speed of Now World Tour, Urban, the subject of a recent Rolling Stone Australia cover story , will play three new shows at the Colosseum in Las Vegas on May 27, 28, and 29.

Keith Urban will return to the road in 2022, with June marking the North American debut of his first world tour in four years, The Speed of Now World Tour. The newly announced North American shows will add 50 new concert stops to his previously announced shows set in Australia, Germany, Netherlands and the U.K for next year.

“Every night is the first time we’ve played these songs for that audience, in that moment,” Urban said via a statement. “It’s why every show is different – spontaneous and unpredictable – even for us!” He adds, “After two years we’re finally gonna get the chance to play some of the new songs we haven’t done live before. We’ll throw in a bunch of the songs that everyone comes to hear, a couple of which we’ll rework a bit, and it’s really gonna be tough to get us off the stage.”

The trek will include Urban’s first concerts in Fort Worth, Texas and Savannah, Ga., as well as a stop at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Oct. 7.

The tour takes its name from Urban’s The Speed of Now Part 1 album, which was released in September 2020 and features “Superman,” “One Too Many” (with Pink) and “Out The Cage” (featuring Breland and Nile Rodgers).

On May 27-29, Urban will be performing three shows as part of a run of dates at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas; tickets for those shows will go on sale Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. PT.

In Keith Urban ’s case, that’s no problem.

The country music star will leave reality television behind in 2022 in favor of an international tour to support his best-selling album.

The “Speed of Now World Tour” is Urban’s first in four years and features two New Jersey shows ( July 29 in Holmdel and July 31 in Camden ).

“It’s what I’ve always done and it’s what my music needs to live and breathe,” the Grammy winner said in a statement. “Our shows are all about living in the moment. They’re a totally interactive and immersive experience where everyone can participate in whatever way they want — sing, dance, do whatever.”

Where to buy tickets to see Keith Urban in 2022?

Tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster to the general public Friday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. EST for all shows.

If you’re hoping to buy tickets as soon as possible, you can find seats right now on StubHub , Vivid Seats , SeatGeek , TicketNetwork and MegaSeats .

It’s common for speculative tickets to show up on the secondary market first, but be aware that prices may be more expensive than when they go on sale to the general public.

When is Keith Urban coming to New Jersey? How much are tickets?

On July 29, Keith Urban will perform at Holmdel’s PNC Bank Arts Center. It’s unknown how much tickets will cost when they go on sale to the general public Friday at Ticketmaster.

At the time of publication, the cheapest tickets on the secondary market were on SeatGeek for $52 before fees . Other similar prices can be found on Vivid Seats and TicketCity .

Then, on July 31, Urban will be at Camden’s BB&T Center for a second New Jersey show. The lowest price we could find on tickets at the time of publication were on Vivid Seats for $56 before fees .

The Australian country star will play all over the world on his 2022 tour .

After a single date in Oklahoma on Feb. 26 , Urban is scheduled to head overseas for the international leg of his tour in Great Britain and the Netherlands .

Once he returns to North America, Urban has 50 concerts lined up, beginning May 27 in Las Vegas and followed by dates in Cincinnati, Charlotte, Phoenix and many other cities before ending in Saint Paul, Minnesota on Nov. 5.

Four-time GRAMMY Award winner Keith Urban has set summer ’22 for the North American debut of his first world tour in four years, The Speed of Now World Tour. The tour’s newly announced North American leg, with 3x GRAMMY nominee Ingrid Andress, will add 50 shows to the previously announced concerts in Australia, Germany, Netherlands and the UK.

The tour includes Urban’s first concerts in Ft. Worth and Savannah, his first appearances at venues in Los Angeles and Jacksonville, as well as shows in Knoxville, Charleston and Madison where he hasn’t played in nearly a decade. The US start June 17th in Tampa and run through November 5th at St. Paul.

Tickets for shows on May 27th, 28th and 29th, part of Urban’s run of dates at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas , go on sale on December 10th at 10 am via Ticketmaster . Other US tour dates go on sale December 7th at 10 am local time.

Critics from around the globe have hailed Urban’s concerts as ones “not to be missed,” as unpredictable as they are explosive. Combine his infectious showmanship, virtuoso guitar playing, effortless spontaneity with a fist-pumping, arena-ready arsenal of hits and the trek promises to be one of the concert event of the summer.

Keith Urban has fans rushing at “The Speed of Now” for tickets to his just-launched 2022 world tour thanks to the first transmissions shared from the opening weekend of its North American leg in Tampa. “The Speed of Now World Tour,” named after the Australian country star’s 2020 album of the same name, finds Urban traversing across the globe through December for his first live outing in nearly four years.

What Is Keith Urban’s Next Tour?

“The Speed of Now World Tour” sped though Europe earlier this year and launched in the US on on June 17th. It resumes on July 8th for a two-nighter in Toronto, then extensively covers New York, New Jersey, Ohio, and New England before moving south to Bristow, Virginia on September 30th and two nights in Jacksonville on August 4th and 5th.

Urban hits Charlotte, Raleigh, St. Louis, Detroit, and more in August, then opens September with two shows at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena in California. He plays Los Angeles on September 10th, Denver on September 16th, and Chicago on September 24th among a dozen other stops that month.

He starts October in Fort Worth, Texas, then hits Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina before traveling north to Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and New York’s UBS Arena at Belmont Park on October 22nd. He closes out the North American leg in St. Paul, Minnesota on November 5th.

Following the North American leg, Urban closes out the year with a run of shows in Australia kicking off in the Gold Coast on December 1st and wrapping with two nights in Melbourne from December 16th to 17th.

DENVER — Country music superstar Keith Urban has announced his first world tour in four years. The singer and guitarist announced "The Speed of Now World Tour" on Wednesday.

The tour's North American leg adds 50 dates to a scheduled that includes previously-announced concerts in Australia, Germany, Netherlands and the U.K.

Urban will be joined by Colorado native Ingrid Andress for a concert at Ball Arena in Denver on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022.

Tickets for the Colorado tour stop are scheduled to go on sale to the general public starting Friday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com .

"Every night is the first time we’ve played these songs for that audience, in that moment," said Urban. "It’s why every show is different – spontaneous and unpredictable – even for us!"

"After two years we’re finally gonna get the chance to play some of the new songs we haven’t done live before. We’ll throw in a bunch of the songs that everyone comes to hear, a couple of which we’ll rework a bit, and it’s really gonna be tough to get us off the stage."

Four-time GRAMMY® Award winner Keith Urban has announced fifty additional shows to THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR 2022 which will include Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena on October 1 at 7:30 p.m.  Three-time GRAMMY© nominee Ingrid Andress will accompany Keith Urban on the North American leg of THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR.

Keith Urban Announces North American Tour: 'It's Really Gonna Be Tough to Get Us Off the Stage'

"It's pure magic when you look out and see everyone just letting loose. I've really missed that!" he tells PEOPLE

Keith Urban is hitting the road in 2022!

The country superstar announced Wednesday that he's embarking on a slew of North American dates on his The Speed of Now World Tour, which will kick off in Tampa, Florida in June and go through November.

Urban, 54, tells PEOPLE that four years after his last world tour, he's most looking forward to seeing his fans in person once more.

"[I'm most looking forward to] re-igniting that person-to-person connection I feel with everyone that comes out to see our shows," he says. "It's pure magic when you look out and see everyone just letting loose. I've really missed that!"

Joining him will be up-and-coming country star Ingrid Andress , who was nominated for three Grammys at this past year's awards show.

Urban teases that fans can expect to hear a mix of old classics, as well as new songs from his most recent album The Speed of Now Part 1 , which came out in September 2020.

"I can't wait to play those," he tells PEOPLE. "Visually, I think it's really important to create something that lends itself to the show's energy, but it's a bit early to know exactly what that'll be for this tour — I have a few ideas though! I'm just so looking forward to playing, playing, playing!"

In a statement, the "Blue Ain't Your Color" singer said he's eagerly awaiting the thrill of performing each night, as "every show is different."

Urban previously announced shows in Australia, Germany, Netherlands and the U.K., though the North American leg will mark his first-ever shows in Fort Worth, Texas and Savannah, Georgia.

He'll play three nights at Caesars Palace Colosseum in Las Vegas on May 27, 28 and 29 before the tour's official start in Tampa. Tickets will go on sale here on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. local time.

Amazing Concert

Keith Urban is such a generous performer, he genuinely loves his fans. He seemed to have as much fun as anyone in the audience. He definitely gave everyone a memorable experience. He signed autographs, took selfies and performed for the lawn seats AT the lawn seats. It was the most interactive concert that I’ve ever attended. Such a fun night, thank you!!

Seen keith on the 8th of july was pretty clost first tickets i ever bought ive been waiting for a long time to see keith and it was amazing beautiful the way he interacts with the crowd is awesome. He gave away one of his freaking guitars which was super sweet and quite hilarious love the lion sleeps tonight part that was great 😂. Hope you come back soon!!

Amazing concert

Keith put on an amazing concert! So entertaining and loved the song list. His opening act Ingrid Andress was great as well, she needs to come back again for sure!

The last Keith show was at this venue pre Covid. Keith you didn’t disappoint, you far succeeded your other shows- and that says a lot! Great songs, best band- best performer hands down!! Beautiful night, beautiful venue and beautiful You! Thanks Keith!

Best first concert ever, from the vendors to the opening set to how long it was for the the price of the tickets it was very fair for lawn seats for the length of the concert, customer service was very helpful.

Keith Urban will return to the UK in April 2022 as part of his The Speed Of Now World Tour. The five UK shows are Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, London and Edinburgh before heading to Europe for more dates. Tickets are on general sale from 9 AM on October 15th. London, UK, October 11, 2021: Four-time GRAMMY® Award winner Keith Urban has today announced the highly anticipated UK and European dates for his ‘THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR 2022’, his first here in nearly three years.  Urban will kick off the UK leg of the tour in Birmingham on the 28th April, and then play five dates in five cities around the UK including Newcastle, Manchester, and at London’s Eventim Apollo, before the closing night in Edinburgh on the 9th May. He then heads to Europe for six epic shows across Germany and The Netherlands.

This summer saw Urban as part of the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Tokyo performing John Lennon’s “Imagine.”  He also featured on two songs from Taylor Swift’s album  Fearless (Taylor’s Version)  including “That’s When” and “We Were Happy.” Keith returned to the stage with a handful of shows in the U.S., including the return of his run of concerts at Caesars Palace in the autumn of 2021.

Robin Trower will return to UK stages in May 2024 for a select run of shows taking in London, Gateshead and Holmfirth. It’s been six years since Robin Trower last played in the UK, but the iconic guitarist has certainly been keeping busy. Recent album releases include the United State Of Mind project with Maxi Priest and Livingstone Brown and three albums in four years on the Provogue label, including his most recent ‘Joyful Sky’ with vocalist Sari Schorr. It’s hard to believe that Robin Trower first came to prominence with Procol Harum in 1967 and was selling out stadiums in the USA with his solo band in the 1970s. Following the success of his 2022 album ‘Ride’ and equally well-received UK dates in 2023, Walter Trout has a new album ‘Broken’ set for release on March 1st via Provogue / Mascot Label Group featuring appearances from Beth Hart, Twisted Sister's Dee Snider and Harmonica virtuoso Will Wilde. In support of the album, Walter will return to the UK for a run of shows, including a return to Islington Assembly Hall in London, where he played a blinder of a show on his last visit.
