Life is good for former Prairie Oyster frontman Russell deCarle
Singer-songwriter returns to peterborough to perform with steve briggs, john sheard, and john dymond at the market hall on february 23.
It’s one thing to be comfortable with one’s past, but moving on with no regrets is a special place reserved for the truly content.
Russell deCarle will be accompanied by Steve Briggs (guitar), John Sheard (piano), and John Dymond (bass). Tickets are available at the Market Hall box office, by phone at 705-749-1146, or online at markethall.org .
As a founding member and lead singer of Canadian country roots band Prairie Oyster, Russell deCarle has nothing but good memories when he reflects on the band’s initial run from 1974 to 1978 and its subsequent and more commercially successful second coming that spanned the period from 1982 to 1996.
It’s no surprise that deCarle has good memories about his time with Prairie Oyster.
Besides writing and recording a number of top 10 singles and issuing eight top-selling albums, the band took home six Juno Awards and 11 Canadian Country Music Awards.
“I’m really proud of what we accomplished, but it is in the rear-view mirror,” says deCarle, who has since fashioned a very productive and satisfying solo career for himself, manifesting itself in the form of three albums and sold-out shows across Canada.
“I really don’t live very far in the past and I don’t live very far in the future,” he adds. “I’m really trying to live in the present. I’m proud of the stuff I wrote for Prairie Oyster, but now I get to tell my own story with my material. I’m very proud of what we did but it had run its course.”
On Saturday, February 23rd, deCarle will headline at the Market Hall Performing Arts Centre, joined by guitarist Steve Briggs (Bebop Cowboys, Sylvia Tyson, Murray McLauchlan), bassist John Dymond (Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Bruce Cockburn, k.d. lang) and pianist John Sheard (The Vinyl Café, Rita MacNeil, Rita Coolidge, Celine Dion).
General admission tickets to the 8 p.m. concert cost $30 — or $35 for assigned cabaret-style seating — and can be ordered at the Market Hall box office, by phone at 705-749-1146, or online at markethall.org .
While deCarle has nothing but good memories of his time with Prairie Oyster, the rewards that his solo career has brought his way also number many.
“One of the great things about doing my own show is I get to do my material and a lot of my favourite material,” he says.
“I don’t really do anything I’m not emotionally connected to. I have a huge repertoire. I rarely use a set list. Whatever I feel like doing, I kind of pull out of the hat and there’s usually a story to go with every song. I get to tell my own story. You can’t really do that with a band, even if you’re the singer. You have to take into account you’re representing five or six people up there on stage. It’s not just your own thing.”
Another big difference for deCarle is that he’s no longer playing bass as he did with Prairie Oyster.
“I’m in a situation now where I get to work with some of my favourite players who are also really great pals. I’m not playing bass; I play guitar so I get to work with some of my favourite bass players.
“One of the constants is I always play with Steve (Briggs). I hired Steve for a tour I did with Merle Haggard. It was a life-changing event for both of us. That was in 2004 and I’ve been playing with Steve ever since. We’re soul partners.”
As a solo artist, deCarle released his debut album, Under The Big Big Sky , in 2010. He formed The Russell deCarle Trio in its aftermath, performing an eclectic mix of blues, jazz, country, Latin, R&B and Western swing with Briggs and accordionist Denis Keldie (The Extras, Denis Keldie Trio, Jeff Healey, Etta James, Doug Riley).
The trio released Live At Loud Mouse Studios in 2014, and performed at the Nexicom Studio at Showplace Performance Centre in March 2015.
deCarle’s latest album, Alone In This Crowd , was released in 2017 and also features Briggs and Keldie. At his Market Hall concert, deCarle will be accompanied by Briggs along with bassist John Dymond and pianist John Sheard.
“These guys really dig the material,” deCarle says. “It isn’t like they’re just mercenary musicians that I’m hiring. There’s a real connection with everybody I tend to play with.”
While he admits the transition from bass to guitar was “a huge leap,” deCarle credits Briggs for much of his progress, terming him “one of the greatest teachers in the country.” And he while loves the songwriting side of the equation, he’s well aware of what he is at the end of the day.
“I’m a singer who writes songs,” he admits. “I’ve always thought of myself more as a singer that anything else. I’ve kept my range and I feel like I’m a better singer now than I’ve ever been. The voice is an instrument. You don’t just open your mouth and it’s there.
“With every experience in the studio you learn something. I get to do such a variety of material now. I really get to work my voice and I write stuff that’s melodically interesting to sing. Joan Besen of Prairie Oyster, who wrote a lot of our biggest hits, would write a lot of times for my voice. She would really push me. I now write stuff that’s fun for me to sing.”
Despite the solo tag, it’s clear that the group dynamic still remains important to deCarle.
“A lot of the reason I got into playing music, what attracted me, was the camaraderie: playing with other musicians. I’m not really the guy who plays all the instruments on my records, nor do I want to do that. I love the experience of working with a great engineer, people who are really good at what they do, and other musicians.”
For the Peterborough show, deCarle says that along with doing some favourite cover tunes, he’ll perform material from his album releases as well as a few Prairie Oyster songs. The gig, he notes, marks a bit of a homecoming for deCarle, who lives a short drive away in the Janetville area.
“Prairie Oyster basically started in Peterborough. In the 1970s, the original band played once a month or so at the Trent Inn. Dennis Delorme lived in Peterborough and still does. I first played in Peterborough in a band called The King City Slickers. It’s a very special place.”
Peterborough in the 1970s was also where deCarle first met Willie P. Bennett, the legendary folk singer-songwriter who passed away in 2008. They went on to write songs together and became great friends.
Ahead for deCarle is the Folk Alliance International conference in Montreal from February 13th to 17th. He’s also writing new material, with the plan to get into the studio this spring and emerge with a new album.
In the meantime, he remains over-the-top thankful that life post-Prairie Oyster has seen him remain on top of his game and relevant.
“That I get to still do this is fantastic,” he says. “It’s a real gift that I’ve been given. I’m so fortunate to get to do what I do. I never take it for granted.
“And I never take it for granted when people show up to see me play. The music business has changed so much. There’s a lot of competition out there for audiences, so when people show up I’m just so appreciative.”

On the road for former Prairie Oyster singer Russell deCarle

Society classes Russell deCarle, 70, as a senior. However, deCarle, who shot to international fame as a founding member of country roots band Prairie Oyster, has no plans to retire.
He’s too busy criss-crossing the country promoting a solo career that blends an eclectic mix of Western swing, blues, jazz, country, rockabilly, R&B and Latin. As part of seven-city tour across Western Canada, deCarle will stop by the Arden Theatre on Thursday, July 6 to launch the summer Plaza Series.
This year the recording artist celebrates his 51st year on the road, and he remains at the top of his game.
“I never think of retiring. I have more fun than I ever did. I’m more creative and I sing better than ever,” said deCarle in a telephone interview from his 125-acre farm in Janetville, Ontario. “I have energy, touch wood. I have my health and I still have a lot to do. And I love being on the road.”
The respected singer-songwriter earned a loyal following during his two stints with Prairie Oyster, first from 1974 to 1978, and again for a more commercially successful second run from 1982 to 1996. In addition, to writing a number of top 10 singles and releasing eight top-selling albums, the band received six Juno Awards and 11 Canadian Country Music Awards.
Although proud of his achievements with Prairie Oyster, deCarle put that phase of his musical career in the rear-view mirror.
“My solo music was not a big departure from Prairie Oyster. We were eclectic and true to ourselves. But it was time to tell my own stories," he said. I tell stories about a variety of things. I’m emotionally connected to everything I do, and I have a story for every song. One of the great things about doing your own thing is having a huge repertoire.”
As well as an extensive catalogue from Prairie Oyster, deCarle has released three albums as a solo artist. Under the Big Big Sky , an ode to Alberta and its warm welcome from local fans, was released in 2010. Live at Loud Mouse Studios followed in 2014 and Alone in This Crowd was issued in 2017. He is also working on a new album titled End of the Road , an autobiographical narrative of his life.
In 2004, deCarle hired guitarist Steve Briggs for a tour he’d planned with Merle Haggard. The event was “life-changing.” Briggs is one of his favourite players and is a regular. He is part of deCarle’s support team on his western tour along with guitarist Paul Pigat and bassist Jeremy Holmes.
At the Plaza Series, deCarle plans to sing a mix of Prairie Oyster and solo-career songs.
“I rarely use a set list. I like to play it by ear. In doing my own show, I get to pick my own material. I get to tell my own story.”
The Russell deCarle concert starts Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on St. Albert Place Outdoor Plaza. Single tickets are $15 and a VIP table for six is $120. Call 780-459-1542 or visit tickets.stalbert.ca.

Iit may surprise those who remember deCarle as the lead vocalist and bassist of the iconic Canadian country roots band Prairie Oyster. He is no stranger to awards and accolades — his “Oyster years” were rewarded with six Juno Awards, more than a dozen Canadian Country Music Awards and enough gold and platinum records and #1 singles to fill a living room wall. The truth is, though, that Prairie Oyster was always more than a “country” band, and deCarle’s warm, burnished and intimate voice has always honoured an eclectic range of songs. True to form, Alone in this Crowd offers a fluent collection of songs that mix southern soul and restrained balladry, with obvious touches of jazz, blues, old-school country, and western swing.

Russell Crowe Announces His First U.S. Tour Dates in a Dozen Years
F or anyone who saw the news about Russell Crowe and his Indoor Garden Party playing the Acoustic Stage of this year's Glastonbury Festival and shook your fist at the sky about the injustice of Crowe not playing anywhere in the States, well, it's time to stop with the fist-shaking and make with the ticket-buying.
Crowe has announced a series of tour dates for August that will take him and the aforementioned Indoor Garden Party on a bit of a zig-zagging path, but it's a path that'll find him popping up on both coasts and elsewhere, playing in six different cities.
When Crowe announced his Glastonbury appearance earlier this month, he did so by saying, “For those of you watching and waiting for tour dates, we will be adding more soon," and he's proven to be a man of his word.
The tour, while perhaps shorter than many of his fans would prefer, is his first time playing around America in 12 years. The brief jaunt will start in Newark, New Jersey and then hit New York City before heading to Los Angeles. From there, it's off to Tulsa, Oklahoma, which is followed by Austin, Texas, and then the whole shebang comes to a conclusion in New Orleans.
Here's the full list of dates, with venues included:
08/11 – Newark, NJ @ NJPAC
08/12 – New York, NY @ Sony Hall
08/14 – Los Angeles, CA @ Whisky A Go Go
08/17 – Tulsa, OK @ River Spirit Casino
08/19 – Austin, TX @ Stubb’s
08/21 – New Orleans, LA @ Tipitina’s
In a recent interview with Smooth Radio , Crowe explained the origins of his so-called Indoor Garden Party, giving credit to chat show host Michael Parkinson, of all people.
"I was mates with Michael Parkinson, and he had this pub, and I was shooting the movie Robin Hood , "explained Crowe. "We brought together these guys as the Merry Men. And just because it's naturally our band, we were just singing a lot of songs and everything. So we just decided to put on a little show for Michael at his pub. Ended up like hundreds of people turned out, the cast from Master and Commander and stuff like that. And it just went around the room, this idea that you have a central act on stage, but from any point in the room, something special can happen. And that's basically the idea for Indoor Garden Party." As it stands at present, Indoor Garden Party have only released one studio album, 2017’s The Musical , but that hasn’t stopped them from continuing to tour the world and elsewhere whenever Crowe and his cronies are of a mind to do so. Just as a sidebar, it's perhaps worth mentioning that one of those cronies is Crowe's fellow actor Scott Grimes, who also has a fascinating bit of '80s history in his closet as well: he recorded an album with Richard Carpenter. (Yes, the one who was in the Carpenters.)
Yes, we know we mentioned this last time as well. But you can't deny that it's a fascinating piece of information.

ALONE IN THIS CROWD Alone In This Crowd – Russell deCarle
They’re having a time. Laughing loud. All I feel is alone in this crowd Alone in this crowd
Try as I might All I can see Dark clouds gaining on me Gaining on me (Gaining on me)
In my dreams you come running back to me Say “Darling, how could I be so blind” I awake to reality Going out of my mind
Sad it’s come to this Tearful goodbyes A lingering kiss (A lingering kiss)
They’re having a time Laughing loud All I feel is alone in this crowd Alone in this crowd
So ends a life together I will love you forever Forever Forever ever and ever
Tanqueray – Russell deCarle
Neon’s flashing “Air conditioned inside” Wallow in comfort Drown your pride Everybody’s got their stories Up and down the rail Broken hearts Love lost tales
Tanqueray Shaken and dry Straight up Olive on the side That’s what the doctor ordered for the mood I’m in Tall green bottle of Tanqueray gin
Long stemmed glasses on ice a chillin’ Ammunition for the pain I’m killing You think you know women but you don’t know jack She got a mind to wandering She ain’t been back
Shake it Shake it bartender Same again That’s perfect Don’t want to bruise that gin
Keep ‘em coming Double down on last call I got a long night of lonely ‘til I get to that wall
No Tom Collins No Errol Flynn No Rusty Nail Just Tanqueray Gin
Lock Stock and Sorrow – Russell deCarle
Chill is in the air Autumn leaves are falling Snow it comes drifting up around my door Spend my days looking out the window I can’t stay here anymore
Out on the road anywhere the wind blows Keeping one step ahead of a troubled mind Leaving all my tomorrows Lock stock and sorrows behind
Inside these walls In a world of our own Smiling laughing so happy and gay Like that girl who’s breathed her last Like so many seasons past There’s no life left in this old house today
Out on the road anywhere the wind blows Keeping one step ahead of troubled mind Leaving all my tomorrows Lock stock and sorrows behind
Sometimes I feel I’m walking on a tightrope And I’ll never make it to the other side Close my eyes And see her waiting Smiling arms open wide
Leaving all my tomorrows Lock stock and sorrows behind
Crazy About You Baby – Russell deCarle
I like the way you look I like the way you talk I like the way you move me when you walk
I like the way you smile They way you wear your hair Something you got A certain savois faire
And I swear there’s nothing I would not do Climb a mountain just to get next to you
The way you make me laugh
The way you got my back
The way you make up for what I lack
(I do, don’t I)
I got your name on my lips I got my heart on my sleeve
So crazy ‘bout you baby I do believe There is nothing I would not do Swim an ocean to get next to you If lightning can strike the same place twice We’re no exception If there’s electricity in the air It’s headed in our direction
If lightning can strike the same place twice We’re no exception If there’s electricity you can bet It’s headed in our direction
So crazy bout you baby I do believe
I’m so crazy ‘bout you baby I do believe
Uncomplicated Unconditional – Russell deCarle
Oh how the time has flown It seems like yesterday Touch of a mother’s hand made everything ok Life was so easy then Love was all around Uncomplicated Unconditional
We grow up We grow older Take the world on our shoulders Fall in love Fall out Never grow old enough to figure that out Angry words get spoken Another heart gets broken Watch the world slip through your fingers Leaving just a taste that lingers
We grew up We grew older Took the world on our shoulders Fell in love Fell out Never grow old enough to figure that out Angry words got spoken So many hearts got broken Watch the world slip through our fingers Leaving just a taste that lingers
Let the Healing Start – Russell deCarle
So long coming The sky’s begun to clear Sun’s coming up and baby you’re here with me I got to tell you something I’ve got to say About this wonderful feeling you’re sending my way
There’s a light in your eyes Touching my heart Straight to my soul Let the healing start
Too much time spent on the downside Walking alone No place to hide From the dark cloud I just could not lose Now I’m stepping out from under in a new pair of shoes
Feels so good Whoa so right Holding you baby and Loving all through the night
Straight to my soul Let the healing start (Let the healing start)
Midnight Train – Russell deCarle
I knew one day in spite of your trying She’d leave you lonesome and blue All the love in the world And your self-denying And still she could never be true Now it’s a lonely street that you used to walk on As lovers hand in hand And you feel so bad cause you could not hold her Well buddy nobody can
You’ve got the lovesick blues But soon you’ll be thankful And come in out of the rain
Pick yourself up off that sidetrack Hitch on to a brand new train
Music and Wine – Russell deCarle
Music and wine Intoxicating kisses Slow dancing across the living room floor Hours on end Gazing at each other We don’t go there anymore
Love can be blind Love can be so cruel Love can be all in vain In time we’ll recover We find another And do it all over again
Cause love still makes the world go ‘round There’s nothing better that I’ve found
Cause love still makes the world go ‘round There’s nothing better that I’ve found than…
Music and wine Intoxicating kisses Slow dancing across your living room floor Hours on end Gazing at each other We don’t go there anymore
UNDER THE BIG BIG SKY
East of the Sun, West of the Moon – Robert M. David
East of the sun, west of the moon Where time stands still, is where I’ll find you Just one regret, all I have left East of the sun, west of the moon
There was a time we became What dreams changed in us Now only in dreams, can I change What time became for us Til I wake to find, that bitter sweet regret Time won’t let me forget East of the sun, west of the moon
There was a time we became What dreams changed in us Now only in dreams, can I change What time became for us Til I wake to find, that bitter sweet regret Time won’t let me forget East of the sun, west of the moon East of the sun, west of the moon
Baby Don’t Come ‘Round Here Anymore – Russell deCarle
Each night I lie awake in bed just hoping For that old familiar knock upon my door By day I tell my friends I’m fine, but I’m barely coping Now my baby don’t come ‘round here anymore
I stumble out of bed and meet the morning I know just what this day will have in store Blues skies have disappeared It keeps on storming Now my baby don’t come ‘round here anymore
She packed her bags and went home to her mother She didn’t say if she’d be coming back I tell myself it’s only temporary That train she’s riding must have jumped the track
There’s traffic on the street, the town is buzzing Nothing’s changed, it’s business like before Inside these lonely walls a heart is breaking Now my baby don’t come ‘round here anymore
These blues that I’m feeling, I can’t go on concealing Now my baby don’t come round here anymore
No Rule No School For Love – Russell deCarle
She said don’t worry baby I’ll always care I just need some time alone Like the distant early warning Of a chilling autumn morning Leaves you shivering down to the bone
Your friends may tell you They’ve been there before But it’s falling on deaf ears All you hear is the roar Sounds like thunder It’s just a door, closing on a love grown cold
No rule no school for love Divine intervention from above On your own, alone, a heart so heavy It sinks like a stone Now she’s gone, long gone
Down on your knees Throw your hands in the air Howl at the moon above If it’s an answer you’re seeking That old man won’t be speaking He’s mum on the subject of love
Gone, Long gone…
Goin’ Away Party – Cindy Walker
I’m throwing a going away party A party for a dream of mine So, put me somewhere off in a corner With a glass and bottle of your party wine
Don’t’ worry, it won’t be a loud party I feel too low to get too high It’s just a sad, going away party For a dream I’m telling goodbye
Don’t worry, it won’t be a loud party Dreams don’t make noise when they die It’s just a sad going away party For a dream that I’m telling goodbye
Don’t Ask The Question – Russell deCarle
I don’t have to ask the question You’re so down in the mouth I’ve seen that look so many times Another love headed south
You say the cards are stacked against you You can never seem to win But you bring nothing to the table Expecting you’ll cash in
A gleam from an eye Like a sign from above Is all you ever needed To start the freefall into love
Where do you turn to When your world comes crashing down Welcome back baby To the last game in town
I could promise you happiness Promise the moon Twelve months of springtime Snow falls in june I can’t walk on the water Turn it to wine If you’re looking for a miracle I’m wasting your time
I don’t have to ask the question You’re so down in the mouth I’ve seen that look so many times Another love’s headed south
Ain’t no news around here It’s been this way for years You come here looking for an answer And find a shoulder for your tears
Shooting Star – Russell deCarle/Steve Briggs
A southern night, a shooting star, Cares and troubles seems so far…away Two strangers caught up in a moment, Dancing while the mariachis play
Round and round Heavens above Such a thrill A night of stolen love Till the dawn Brings parting and sorrow Holding on, like there’s no tomorrow
And when that night came to an end, A vow they made to meet again someday Where the mariachis play
In my heart, a flame it lingers still In my mind, I’ll live in dreams until Tenderly, I taste your lips divine And once again, your heart beats next to mine
A southern night, a shooting star Put my troubles off another day And hold you tight And dance the night away
Fingernail Moon – Russell deCarle
Middle of June Under a fingernail moon Stars are dripping above Whippoorwills call Oh the wonder of it all Happy just sitting with one I love
Sweet breath of a breeze Blowing through the trees Like a trembling kiss Senses are reeling Oh what a feeling To be together on a night like this
In the distance a shooting star Sails cross the universe We’re so happy where we are In our heaven right here on earth
End of the day The milky way Stretching far as the eye can see Everything’s right with the world tonight Picture perfect for you and me
Everything’s right with the world tonight Picture perfect for you and me
Under the Big Big Sky – Russell deCarle
Way out west, you and me Rolling along on the lone prairie Livin’ it up Under the big big sky
Ducking out from under a cloud Far away from the maddening crowd Livin’ the life Under the big big sky
Under the stars at the side of the trail Falling asleep to the coyotes’ wail
Morning comes to this promised land Humbling the most confidant man Livin’ the dream Under the big big sky
Heading out on another day Driving our cares away Happily Under the big big sky
Sit back, enjoy the view Oh how I cherish these moments with you
Happily Under the big big sky
Can’t Find the Song in my Heart – Russell deCarle
Can’t find the will, can’t find the way That’s how I’ve been waking up, most every day Can’t find a reason, can’t get a start Can’t find the song in my heart
It’s all I can do just to fall out of bed Black cloud floating around my head Our world as we knew it has fallen apart Can’t find the song in my heart
Used to be such a thrill To be near you Where do those feelings disappear to?
Used to be such a thrill To be near you Where did those feelings disappear to?
Chatty people with nothing to say Time keeps on ticking, it’s slipping away Used to come together Now it’s a la carte
Can’t find the song in my heart Can’t find the song in my heart In my heart In my heart Can’t find the song in my heart
Girl with the Golden Hair – Russell deCarle
I’m thinking of the girl with the golden hair Close my eyes and I see her there Dancing in the moonlight, stars shine on Moving to the music of her own sweet song
So far away yet so close to me Ain’t that just the way love’s supposed to be Oh so real and a heart that’s true One look my way makes me lose my blues
Well I love her and she loves me Lonely nights are history Everywhere we go it feels like home Moving to a rhythm that’s all our own
Clouds may come and rain may fall But that don’t bother us at all We know that time will turn the tide And leave a rainbow waiting on the other side
In my dreams so many lovers come to me, but they cannot compare To the dream that I awake to, and the love that’s waiting there For me…..
Moving to the music of her own sweet song I’m thinking of the girl with the golden hair Yeah, I’m thinking of the girl with the golden hair (….golden hair)
Blues for Christmas – Russell deCarle
Something’s in the air People rushing everywhere There’s no mistaking Christmas time again
Fearless leaders on the TV Scrubbed until they shine Will tell us what a bang up year it’s been
Well, it’s a wonderful life for those who have plenty Loved ones gathered near But I can’t help but feel for the ones who haven’t any It’s the loneliest day of the year
Saint Nicholas…he may be jolly I can’t help feeling melancholy I’ve got the blues for Christmas
Carolers sing and jingle bells ring It’s a holiday parade of shuffling feet But when the lights go down on this tinseltown The unfortunate take back the street
Well, it’s a wonderful life for those who have plenty Loved ones gathered near But my heart reaches out to the ones who haven’t any On the loneliest day of the year
The halls are decked with boughs of holly Still I feel so melancholy I’ve got the blues for Christmas
Saint Nicholas…he may be jolly I can’t help feeling melancholy I’ve got the blues for Christmas

2024 Zurich Classic live stream, TV schedule, how to watch online, channel, tee times, radio, golf coverage
Grab a partner for this team-style event on the pga tour.
For the seventh straight year, players will travel down to the Bayou to take part in the PGA Tour's annual team-style event. The 2024 Zurich Classic welcomes 80 teams of two as partners hope to grab a trophy by week's end at TPC Louisiana.
Headlining the action are the two players who seemingly do everything together: Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay. The good friends were victorious in their first go around in 2022 but failed to defend their title a season ago in large part due to their play in four-ball; Schauffele and Cantlay were more effective in foursomes in Rounds 2 and 4 than they were in the four-ball format in Rounds 1 and 3.
They will hope to rectify this shortcoming in their third appearance together against a number of new pairings making their debuts. They include world No. 2 Rory McIlroy, who will be making his first tournament appearance alongside Shane Lowry. The two have shared Ryder Cup moments together and will now share their first Zurich Classic starts together hoping to find a little form in this format.
The two could prove to be Schauffele and Cantlay's greatest competition, but they will not be alone. Will Zalatoris and Sahith Theegala are a strong duo on paper, as are Collin Morikawa and Kurt Kitayama. Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor hope to do one better than their runner-up performance in 2023, with Corey Conners and Taylor Pendrith also starring as an all-Canadian team.
The brothers of Alex and Matt Fitzpatrick team up for the second straight year, with Rasmus and Nicolai Hojgaard and Parker and Pierceson Coody also making this week a family affair.
