On April 28, the Class of 2024 joined the ranks of University of Pittsburgh alumni as they crossed the stage to collect their diplomas.

Alison Linares Mendoza , who earned her degree in industrial engineering on Sunday, served as undergraduate speaker for the ceremony. “If there’s one feeling I’m sure we all share, it would be appreciation,” said Linares Mendoza, who will move to Colorado after graduation to work on NASA’s Artemis V mission. “Thank you to the University of Pittsburgh, and all those who came before us, for making this place feel like we belong.”

The University conferred an honorary degree upon John Surma, former CEO of United States Steel Corporation and Pitt Board of Trustees member, for his contributions to Pitt and the community. The business leader also delivered an address to the graduates on collaboration and Pitt’s impact in the region.

After the last piece of confetti fell and the last “Let’s go, Pitt” rang out from the Petersen Events Center, the graduates headed into the warm spring day to celebrate with their peers, family and friends.

RJ Krishnaswamy Masters Graduation

PITTSBURGH — A local teenager just earned his second degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Channel 11 first told you about Monroeville native RJ Krishnaswamy in 2023, when he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a minor in mathematics from Pitt’s Frederick Honors College at the age of 16.

After his 2023 graduation, RJ told us he was moving on to his master’s degree.

RJ, now 17, walked across the stage again this weekend with a master’s degree in computer science.

RJ was only 13 when he graduated high school and has also earned two associate degrees from CCAC.

2024 NFL undrafted free agent tracker: Full team-by-team list of every player who signed following NFL Draft

The complete list of undrafted free agents signed.

sam-hartman-notre-dame-fighting-irish-usatsi.jpg

After three days and 257 picks, the 2024 NFL Draft has concluded. Even with the annual selection meeting officially over, plenty of teams will be in bidding wars with undrafted players to get them on their roster. Some players would rather be undrafted in order to get more guaranteed money or work out contracts on their terms.

The majority of undrafted free agents are just training camp bodies or roster fillers, but there are always a few on teams that end up making rosters and contributing for years to some. Some even end up as Pro Bowlers or make the Pro Football Hall of Fame .

These undrafted players are worth paying attention to this time of year, especially with rookie minicamps coming up over the next few weeks. Here are all the undrafted free agents signed by NFL teams, which will be updated as teams announce player signings.
