The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents, MATTA is pleased to inform that we are organizing the MATTA FAIR®️ 1-3 SEPTEMBER 2023 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur . This will be the 53rd edition of MATTA FAIR®️ to be held in Kuala Lumpur.

Please be informed and to take note of the following registration system:

1. ONLINE REGISTRATION only.

2. Registration of exhibitors on the registration day will be by the sequence of the registration number generated once online registration is completed by the company/organization.

3. The MATTA Fair online registration has started on Tuesday, 6 June 2023 until all booths are subscribed. Although exhibitors have registered, exhibiting companies are reminded that booths are subject to availability and NOT guaranteed.

4. Please be advised that International halls at Level 2 & Level 3 have MULTIPLE ENTRANCE AND EXIT DOORS. Visitors’ movement are on free flow basis i.e. FREE TO ENTER ANY LEVEL of their choice.

5. Upon confirmation, our office will issue an invoice.

6. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone or shorten the MATTA FAIR®️ in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

7. If the Fair is cancelled, all payments shall be refunded subject to administration fee. No other claims or compensation will be entertained.

SELANGOR IS ANNOUNCED AS MALAYSIA’S FEATURED DESTINATION FOR MATTA FAIR 2023

SELANGOR, 8th August 2023 – Announced as the most visited state in 2022 with over 22 million visitors, the State of Selangor once again retains its mission to raise tourist inflow to the state through its official tourism promotion agency, Tourism Selangor. Tourism Selangor will participate in the MATTA Fair 2023 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibitions Centre (MITEC) from 1st September until 3rd September 2023.

The MATTA Fair this year will highlight Selangor as Malaysia’s Featured Destination, with 3 pavilions allocated to promote tourism products in the State of Selangor in line with its domestic tourism promotional campaign, “Nak Bercuti? Pusing Selangor Dulu!”. As the preferred destination during MATTA Fair this year, Tourism Selangor will feature various tourism segmentation; hotels, theme parks, adventure tourism, agro-tourism, gastronomy, culture and arts, eco-tourism and many more. An expected 70,000 visitors will visit Tourism Selangor Pavilion this year, compared to 30,000 visitors in March.

Tourism Selangor will collaborate with GL Play by Gamuda Land as the strategic partner to bring a number of attractions and activities to the second iteration of MATTA Fair 2023 in September, including the Safari Truck and SplashMania’s Amazonia ship structure replica, hydroponic plants, chocolate demonstrations, trampolines, spa treatments, sushi and dim sum demonstrations, sharing session on cow’s milk processing, the launching of Selangor Hop On Hop Off Bus and many more.

The Selangor Pavilion successfully obtained a sales value of tourism packages worth RM 150,000.00 during the First Edition of the MATTA Fair in March and expected an increase of 10% in sales compared to the previous edition. In this upcoming edition, Tourism Selangor will feature more tourism product operators participating in the Fair such as; GL Play (SplashMania Waterpark, Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands, Discovery Park and Goosebumps Rope Course), the biggest wholesale centre GM Klang, Jumpstreet Asia, Chocolate Museum, Selangor Fruit Valley, Rumah Hutan Terapi Alam, Eastin Hotel, Farm Fresh UPM, Sky Mirror, the Selangor Hop On Hop Off and others.

Specially brought this year, Tourism Selangor will bring a virtual tourism experience using VR 360 technology. Visitors will get to experience travelling to the State of Selangor, from theme parks to the beauty of eco-tourism in Selangor and feel as if they are travelling to those areas.

In addition, visitors can stand a chance to win lucrative and special prizes worth up to RM 2,000.00 during this event by participating in the Tourism Selangor TikTok challenge. Perak MITM Travel Fair 2023
