Fabulous staff, great location right on bike path. The gentleman working here on October 7-8, 2022 was quite possibly the best employee they could ever have; friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful. From my phone inquiry earlier in the day, to his accommodating/helpful spirit when we rented - my family and I felt like we were well taken care, had all the local details and were comfortable and happy on our rides. The bikes were well maintained, comfortable and they provide helmets and locks for free. I also love that they supply free cycling maps.

I knew from the minute we planned our trip to Victoria that I had to visit the Trek store. As a Trek owner I though it would be a good place to come and pick up some Trek branded shirts etc. Unfortunately they didn’t have any of this stuff in store. They said they were still waiting for their shipment if this years goodies. They had a decent selection of bikes though so if you’re in the market for hard good this is a good place to start.

Good selection, convenient location and knowledgeable staff. Great e-bikes if you are looking for them. Good coffee bar as well.

TREK Bikes Victoria is a great choice for sales and service. Featuring a full lineup of Trek Products and other specialty lines, there is sure to be something here for the riding enthusiast. An excellent service area compliments thistshop and techs make your after-sales experience a positive one. If you prefer to join the EV revolution, check out the TREK EV offerings for this market segment.

This is a great bike shop for self-supported cyclists to stop at. It's ID #16 on the Bike Across Canada Route Network 'Approved Bicycle Shop' list

I've been in and out of this store for odds and ends over the years. Zero complaints and zero hickups. In my mind the store caters to higher end bikes for racing and is also involved in the cycling community. So, if you're looking to ensure your bike operating at a high standard this is one of the better choices in Victoria.

Went there looking for a singlespeed freewheel adaptor. Not a typical request but definitely not unheard of (I know of six or seven places to buy it online). The girl (and yes, it was a girl not an adult woman) had no idea what I was talking about and brought back cassette spacers a couple of times. Eventually I had to show her a picture of a freewheel adaptor. She left and a scrawny little man, whom I believe is the manager or head mechanic, came out with the same cassette spacers. I explained again that I was looking for a freewheel spacer. He insisted that what I was looking for was a cassette spacer, so I had to show him the actual freewheel I had with me and a picture of the freewheel spacer. He said "oh, I wouldn't use that it's dangerous. You got some kind of funky hub". I explained to him that I had used these for most of the last twenty years on my single speed bikes, and that it is more effective and safer than adjusting your axle and dishing your wheel. He said, pompously and dismissively, "I've been a mechanic for twenty years, and I've never even heard of that. If you're going to set up your bike all wrong and funky, then maybe these shops (named two shops) have something funky like that. It was obvious that this little prick lacked the humility or insight to realize that there are things that are simply outside of his experience. Even so, the tone he used with me was not a tone that an employee gets to use to a customer. In other circumstances, it would have gotten him a punch in the mouth. FYI, loser; my "funky" crap bike is a 1988 Colnago SLX Spiral Conic, and my "garbage" wheels are Campagnolo C-Record hubs laced to Campagnolo Moskva '80 rims. And using a freewheel spacer is a lot safer that dishing your wheel over 1/2". Enjoy working on your crappy, Chinese-made junk bikes. P.S. - I worked as a bike mechanic for years while putting myself through university. Then I got an adult job. If you've been a bike mechanic for twenty years, then you're not in a position to take attitude with anyone, because you are a failure.

Don't walk in if you don't own or looking to own a trek. I am a cycle tourist and have been to plenty of bike shops. This bike shop did not want to help me. I walk in to get my chain tension tightened. After I tell him I have to be on the ferry in 1.5 hrs he says it's going to be a 2-3 hour job. The next bike shop I went to did it for free in 5-10 min. So this guy was BSing me for sure, don't let him BS you!

These guys are fantastic! I arrived in town this last Saturday for the triathlon on Sunday and realized I needed to replace my shift cables or I wouldn't be able to do the event. The shop was extremely busy with the event going on, but they didn't hesitate to get me in. They know what they are doing and did fantastic work! My bike is shifting better than it had before. I was extremely grateful for their flexibility to help me out and so impressed with how nice and cheerful everyone in the store was. If I lived in the area I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend!
