Savor Seattle: One of the Best Things We Did

After seeing the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor while planning our trip to Seattle, we decided to book the Savor Seattle tour of Pike Place Market. We were most definitely not disappointed. We'd been to Pike Place before, a year ago, so we were pretty familiar with the market. But this tour gave us an added dimension of information and entertainment that no "lay person" can get on his/her own. I considered it our own VIP tour of one of Seattle's best attractions. Tours like this either live or die with the host/guide, in my opinion. We had an awesome guide in Brett, who not only was extremely knowledgeable about the market but who was funny, approachable and clearly had a great rapport with the individual businesses we visited while on the tour. Because the business owners/operators loved Brett, they seemed to love us, which I think enhanced the overall value of the tour. (As an example, our mid-morning tour took place long after the famous "flying fish" vendor typically is throwing fish. But Brett asked if they'd do it for us and they happily complied. They weren't doing it for anyone else at that time.) I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

BEAUTIFUL selection of delicious dishes! Pairings that are equisite. Meet and greet with executive chefs, staff etc. FABULOUS! We did the gourmet tour today with Ezra and I loved it so much I HAD to come on and write a review right away. I selected this attraction after researching it here on trip advisor and it does not disappoint. Good amount of food and libation, enough but not too much walking, fully worth the cost! Most importantly our guide, Ezra, was the highlight. He was so welcoming, knowledgable, and a sincere foodie. He was as delightful as my first sip of sangria! Will refer all of my friends and family to this tour...and will try the other tours offered myself!

Brett was a great tour guide. I went on a Pike Place tour as well as a gourmet food tour, and both were great. Brett was very informed, and made the tour a lot of fun. This is well worth the time and money.

My husband and I toured Pike Place Market with the 9:30am tour with Nick as our guide. We learned about the market and tasted some really great foods. We enjoy touring when we are in a new region and would recommend Savor Seattle Food Tours.

Excellent way to learn about pike's place, the tour guide was very informative.It is well orgianize. The food is excellent way to taste test and sample alot of food.

Loved it from start to finish...the guide was great, the food was great, well organized, well run, informative and lots of great discounts to use for the rest of your stay at different establishments. I am planning a trip to Seattle next year with some girlfriends and this is going to be an absolute must for us to do together.

Fantastic! Take this tour! Absolutely the best tastes, history, relationships, info! Matt is brilliant! We tasted the best donuts, clam chowder, fruit, Turkish delight, lentil soup, ginger beer and more. It was truly excellent!

As a local, I regularly visit the Market, have my favorite shops and stalls, and feel pretty knowledgeable about this local treasure.
