Monumental Tour va illuminer la Cathédrale de Laon

La dernière édition célébrait brillamment la présidence française du Conseil de l’Union européenne (PFUE) au Palais Royal avec un show époustouflant le 12 Mai dernier. Monumental Tour revient ce 27 Mai 2022 illuminer la Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Laon pour une nouvelle édition !
Une série de spectacles éblouissants
L’initiative ‘Monumental Tour’ porté par le DJ/Producteur français Michael Canitrot a pour vocation de faire rencontrer l’electro et notre riche patrimoine français, sa mise en valeur se fait à travers un spectacle scénographique. Soutenu par le Ministère de la Culture, ‘Monumental Tour’ a successivement illuminé notre patrimoine à travers des concerts electro sur des sites tels que le Phare de l’ile de Ré , le Chateau de Pierrefonds ou encore l’Abbaye du Mont Saint-Michel .
La dernière édition du 12 Mai au Palais Royal de Paris a été à nouveau une réussite visuelle et musicale. La prestation de Michael Canitrot a été encadrée par des performances très remarquées de l’artiste allemand EinMusik , figure de la scène berlinoise et de la jeune artiste française très prometteuse Ams . Une belle manière de faire découvrir des artistes par la même occasion, les monuments ont apprécié !
Au Tour de Laon
Ce vendredi 27 Mai, c’est à Laon , cette “Ville d’art et d’histoire” engagé auprès des publics dans une démarche active de diffusion des connaissances, de sensibilisation et conservation que le Monumental Tour sera invité à mettre en lumière la Cathédrale Notre-Dame . La beauté de ce merveilleux monument du 12e siècle (et ses 55mètres de hauteurs) sera sublimé par les mappings, shows lights et scénographies animées avec un savoir-faire certain par la société AV Extended .
Michael Canitrot, qui présentera un DJ Set cinématique, sera cette fois accompagné par le fabuleux duo allemand Monkey Safari , les artistes français Nico de Andrea et Wielki , ainsi qu’une jeune révélation Darker qui ouvrira l’événement dès 18h.

– Ouvertures des portes à 18H – Fin du concert : 00h – Une zone de Food-trucks pour petite restauration et boissons sera présente sur place. – Les mineurs non accompagnés par une personne majeure ne sont pas autorisés à assister au concert. – Sont strictement interdits dans l’enceinte: substances illicites, objets dangereux (tranchants et contondants), armes même factices, feux d’artifice, toutes installations à gaz, boîtes de conserve et canettes, bouteilles et objets en verre, pointeurs laser, mégaphones et talkies, appareils de diffusion audio. – En application du plan Vigipirate, l’accès au site est interdit à toutes valises, sacs de voyages et sacs à dos de taille supérieure au format A3. – Pas de consignes à bagages ni de vestiaires sur site. – Il est interdit d’entrer avec de l’alcool. Seules les gourdes à eau sont acceptées. – Aucun animal de compagnie n’est autorisé sur le site. – Des sanitaires sont à votre disposition sur place. – Des accès et zones PMR sont disponibles sur place. – Merci de noter que l’espace concert n’est pas couvert

Monumental Tour 2023, Laon
The Monumental Tour stops in Laon and enlivens cathedral with Modulo Kinetic
Last May, the Laon Cathedral was host to the first date of the Monumental Tour 2023 . Teams of AV EXTENDED used 2 RQ22 and 4 RQ32 Panasonic projectors to illuminate the massive façade of the Gothic edifice.
The projectors were powered by Modulo Pi ’s Modulo Kinetic media server. The kit consisted in 1 Kinetic Designer workstation , and 1 V-Node server with 6 outputs. The projection mapping relied on the Modulo Kinetic ’s X-Map function, allowing to easily warp projection areas independently and perfectly fit the cathedral’s delicate architecture.
Monumental Tour Initiated by the DJ and Producer Michael Canitrot, The Monumental Tour offers a unique experience blending electro music and digital art, in the core of emblematic heritage sites. A strong partner in the project, AV EXTENDED is entrusted with the visual and lighting design to sublimate the exceptional sites serving as backdrops for the Monumental Tour.
