The 2 and a half hour plus show features classic tracks from Pink Floyd’s magnificent catalogue of albums, including the Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Division Bell, Meddle and much more. In 1994 the Division Bell Tour was the highest-grossing tour in rock music history, playing to over 5 million people in 68 cities and proved to be the epic finale and notable footnote to one of the most influential rock bands in history.

Taking to the stage to perform note for note renditions of all these classic Pink Floyd tracks is the band of musicians that audiences have become to love and respect worldwide over the years, featuring long time guitarist/vocalist and musical director Damian Darlington, who has performed well over 2500 Pink Floyd music related concerts throughout his career. The band also features Ian Cattell, Edo Scordo, Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila and all the other expert musicians that have joined the ranks of Brit Floyd over the course of the last decade.

Having performed over 1,000 shows since its launch in Liverpool, England in January 2011, Brit Floyd have circled the world, sold out tours across Europe, North America, South America, Asia and the Middle East, and performed concerts at some of the world’s greatest venues, including London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall; the awe inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado; the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and ‘The Showplace of the Nation’, NYC’s Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.

Brit Floyd M&G Soundcheck Experience. £124.50 On arrival at the venue at 5:00pm on the show day, each guest will be given a special Brit Floyd VIP Meet and Greet Soundcheck Experience tour pass and lanyard and will have an exclusive opportunity to browse through all the show merchandise and to chat to the show personnel pre-show. The VIPs will then be invited by Brit Floyd’s tour manager into the venue auditorium for the private soundcheck experience. Brit Floyd’s musicians will treat the VIP audience to a special bonus performance of two classic Pink Floyd songs not featured in the evening show, and then afterwards will come down from the stage to meet all the guests. The musicians will be happy to chat with the VIPs, sign merchandise and have photos taken. Brit Floyd fans can expect to be treated to a memorable and personal experience!

If you like Pink Floyd, you will love Brit Floyd. They are every bit as good, if not better than the original band. (I can't believe I just said that, but it's true). I feel that the guys from Pink Floyd would also agree with this statement.

For a tribute act, they are probably the best there is.

The proof - check out their tour dates; they play all over the planet and since 2015 have covered at least 500+ gigs. That's a hell of a lot. That's more dates than some original artists will cover.

All members are of a world class standard; but I have my favourite when it comes to the iconic "Great gig in the sky". Although every rendition I've heard Brit Floyd do of this classic track have been excellent, for my money no one does it better than Ola Bienkowska; her version is truly awesome and every bit as good as the 1973 original from Dark Side of the Moon.

Having been a fan of Floyd's music since 1967, I never had the opportunity to seen them live, however, I've rectified that with Brit Floyd and have seen them in Liverpool a while ago, Copenhagen in 2017 and London Palladium 2018, I will definitely be seeing them again in the future.

If you are truly a Floyd fan, go and see Brit Floyd, sit back, shut your eyes and listen; all you will hear are David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Richard Wright and Roger Waters.

I really enjoyed the show at sony centre. I have seen pink Floyd several times at big arenas. This band was able to entertain us almost as good as p Floyd. Since I will never see the real thing again I am going to see this band anytime they come back. Everyone in the band were great at what they did. I have seen cover bands before,this band made it feel like they were the original. The female singers stood up and whaled the tunes.

Brit Floyd, amazing venue, lovely night, great crowd, terrible beer and wine attendents.... But you don't want to hear ab9it that. Brit Floyd was spot on with their song choices and their talent to play Pink Floyd. I would see them again and again. If you never experienced Pink Floyd go see Brit Floyd or Aussie Floyd...... Amazing musicians and incredible voices. Eva Avila is amazing on Great Gig In The Sky......

LOVED THE SHOW.....

Third time seeing Brit Floyd and I am never disappointed about any aspect of the show.

Even though the show is shorter at the Rama venue than it has been the other places I've seen them, they still managed to hit every note perfectly. Every song every sound every visual effect was as good as a show can get.

I would recommend them over and over and plan to see them again and again and again.

As close to the original of any tribute band I have ever seen!

Close you eyes and you could be fooled into think you were listening to the original Floyd.

2019 will be the 8th consecutive year I have been to see Brit Floyd and just when you think they couldn't get any better, they manage to tweak their performance to perfection.

A must see for all Floyd fans.

Having seen Pink Floyd three times and now Brit Floyd three times I can honestly say Brit Floyd are equal to the masters,I saw them at the cliffs pavillion Southend on Sat 4 th Feb and the show was supurb,the next time they announce a British tour go and see them,you wont be disapointed.

It's always a good show for a little nostalgia and the musicians are talented. That being said, I think this year they played way too many obscure songs. They need to go back to playing all the huge hits, one after another, and stop trying to resurrect Sid Barrett and the 60's Floyd.

I'm not normally into Cover Bands, but this Band is the exception. I've seen Pink Floyd at the Oakland Colisium, many years ago, and this is my 2nd experience with Brit Floyd, and I honestly, can't tell the difference, and would see these guy's again, anytime they come to town.

*****! Just like seeing the original (and I did several times). Great musicians, great singers, great lighting and backscreen. The only thing missing was the pig balloon. If you are a Pink Floyd fan or are too young to have ever seen them, don’t miss Brit Floyd!

This was our 2nd time to see them. If you are a Floyd fan this is as good as it gets. As Gilmore said " they do it better than we ever did". We have seen Pink Floyd and this is every bit as good in a much nicer venue. GO you will be glad you did.

The 2 and a half hour plus show features classic tracks from Pink Floyd’s magnificent catalogue of albums, including the Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Division Bell, Meddle and much more. In 1994 the Division Bell Tour was the highest-grossing tour in rock music history, playing to over 5 million people in 68 cities and proved to be the epic finale and notable footnote to one of the most influential rock bands in history.

VIP Meet & Greet Soundcheck Experience Details: On arrival at the venue at 5:00pm on the show day, each guest will be given a special Brit Floyd VIP Meet and Greet Soundcheck Experience tour pass and lanyard and will have an exclusive opportunity to browse through all the show merchandise and to chat to the show personnel pre show. The VIPs will then be invited by Brit Floyd’s tour manager into the venue auditorium for the private soundcheck experience. Brit Floyd’s musicians will treat the VIP audience to a special bonus performance of two classic Pink Floyd songs not featured in the evening show, and then afterwards will come down from the stage to meet all the guests. The musicians will be happy to chat with the VIPs, sign merchandise and have photos taken. Brit Floyd fans can expect to be treated to a memorable and personal experience!

Only ADULT prices are available for this event. Ticket prices include a per ticket service fee, varying from $8 – $15 depending on ticket price.

To purchase wheelchair accessible tickets  online , look for the wheelchair symbol when selecting seats. You can buy that location and the one next to it with a star symbol for a companion (please note there will be no chair in the “Wheelchair Seat” location).  Typically, these will be available in the Grand Tier sections 2 and 4 and Orchestra section 1 .  If you wish to inquire about other possible options, please call our box office for assistance.

Wheelchair Accessible Seating:  There are several wheelchair accessible seating areas within Merrill Auditorium. They are located in the front and sides of the Orchestra Section, as well as the rear of the Grand Tier. Ushers are available if you need any assistance in locating your seat.

Lift Arm Aisle Seats:  Aisle seats with a movable arm to facilitate entry and exit are located throughout the auditorium. Please check with the box office for specific locations. These can be used to transfer from wheelchairs into a regular auditorium seat if desired.

Over-Sized Seats:  Not all the seats in Merrill Auditorium are the same size. We can provide two sets of over-sized seats (two seats with a removable center arm and broader backrests). Please contact PortTIX and inform your ticket agent if you would like one of these seats. They are available on a first come, first serve basis.

We recommend that patrons purchase their tickets well in advance. For certain shows, production requirements reduce the number of both accessible and non-accessible seats in the Orchestra. Please inform the ticket agent of any accessibility requirements at the time of purchase.

Assisted Listening Devices  via an infrared listening assistance system are available to patrons for all performances at Merrill Auditorium. Simply ask one of the Merrill Event Staff (those wearing red vests) when you enter the auditorium to obtain a headset. A valid driver’s license or credit card is required as a deposit.

Sign Language Interpreters can be provided upon request with at least two weeks’ notice based on the availability of a qualified Interpreter. Please call (207) 842-0800 to request this service.

The bathrooms in the main floor lobby of Merrill Auditorium are accessible by elevator from all levels and are wheelchair-accessible.

There is an elevator at Merrill Auditorium that can reach any floor of the building. However, the only areas that are accessible without any stairs are the Orchestra and Row G of the Grand Tier. All other sections do require stairs to reach the seats.

Accessible parking for patrons with disability permits is available on both sides of Myrtle Street and on Congress Street in front of City Hall. Parking spaces are in high demand in Portland. To avoid disappointment, please allow sufficient time before the start of a show to find a parking space.

Service animals are always welcome. They are required to remain on a leash or harness at all times. We recommend speaking with a ticket agent about the best seating options for you and your service animal.

Ask a Merrill Staff member wearing a red vest. They are in charge of the ushers and are a very useful resource.

Brit Floyd (recently called “the world’s premier Pink Floyd cover band,” by Rolling Stone ) will kick off their 2024 “P-U-L-S-E World Tour” – Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Pink Floyd ‘s “The Division Bell” + Greatest Hits – with an initial 41-date North American trek launching February 29 in Hamilton, ON (Canada).

The tour’s first leg will include stops in New York City (March 15, The Palladium), Boston (March 24, Orpheum), and multiple nights in Milwaukee and Atlantic City before wrapping on April 24 in Memphis at the Orpheum Theatre; some performances will include special guests Harry Waters and Durga McBroom (see full itinerary below).

A second run of dates will follow from May to July and includes an already sold-out show at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado (additional details are TBA). Brit Floyd will then head overseas for shows in Europe and the UK in the fall. This monumental celebration of musical history—presented by Palladium Entertainment—will commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Pink Floyd ‘s iconic album, “The Division Bell” .

Brit Floyd, billed as “The World’s Greatest Pink Floyd Experience,” are embarking on an extensive 2024 North American tour. At several of the shows, the tribute act will be joined onstage by keyboardist Harry Waters, son of founding Pink Floyd singer-bassist Roger Waters .

The “P-U-L-S-E” tour will feature Brit Floyd playing select tracks from Pink Floyd’s post-Waters 1994 album The Division Bell , which celebrates its 30th anniversary in March, as well as a number of greatest hits. Tickets to many of the shows are currently available via Ticketmaster , while fans can also check for deals or pick up tickets to sold-out shows via StubHub , where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.

The first leg kicks off February 29th in Hamilton, Ontario, and runs through an April 24th gig in Memphis, Tennessee. A second leg, running from May through July, is expected to be fully announced shortly, although many of those dates have already been revealed, including a sold-out concert at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater outside of Denver. All told, Brit Floyd plan to play 90 shows in North America alone this year.

Harry Waters, who previously played a few gigs with Brit Floyd in late 2023, will be on board for 10 of the shows, beginning with a March 5th gig in Burlington, Vermont, and running through a March 17th concert in Providence, Rhode Island.

A couple months ago, Harry revealed that he was fired from his famous father’s band in late 2016, telling Rolling Stone , “It was pretty miserable. … I think he just wanted a change of blood, something new, something fresh. I’m not sure of his exact reasoning, but everyone except two people got fired. But the other guys that got the sack weren’t his son, so it was doubly hurtful for me.”

Also joining Brit Floyd onstage for three dates will be singer Durga McBroom, who provided backing vocals on a number of Pink Floyd albums and all of their concerts from November 1987 to October 1994. In fact, the March 5th show in Burlington will feature both McBroom and Harry Waters.

Brit Floyd to return to Wilson Center as part of 2024 ‘P-U-L-S-E’ tour

W ILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Pink Floyd tribute Brit Floyd is scheduled to return to the Wilson Center Thursday, July 25, as part of the 2024 P-U-L-S-E World Tour.

According to Cape Fear Community College, the performance, set for 7:30 p.m., will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s The Division Bell album.

“Pink Floyd, an unparalleled pioneer in progressive and psychedelic rock, left an indelible mark on the music industry with their groundbreaking sound and captivating live performances,” the CFCC announcement states. “ The Division Bell , released in 1994, is a testament to their mastery, and three decades later, its enduring impact continues to resonate with fans old and new.

“Brit Floyd P-U-L-S-E is not just a tour; it’s a journey through time, a tribute to the timeless artistry of Pink Floyd. Known for their unwavering dedication to recreating the magic of Pink Floyd’s music, Brit Floyd is the perfect ensemble to honor The Division Bell. Audiences can expect a breathtaking audiovisual experience that pays homage to the original band’s unique music and visual effects blend.”

Tickets will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27 for Wilson Center Members. The public will be able to purchase tickets beginning Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m. Those interested may purchase tickets online through the Wilson Center website or by contacting the Ticket Central box office at (910) 362-7999. The box office is open for telephone and in-person sales from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The music legend is bringing her ‘Together Again’ tour to 10 cities later this year, kicking off in Paris at the Accor Arena on September 25.

From there, she’ll continue on to stops in Birmingham, London, Glasgow and Manchester, before heading back to mainland Europe and concluding at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on October 10.

Reviewing Jackson at Glastonbury back in 2019 , NME described the set as “a pop megamix, a stadium production and the making of a new ‘legends slot’.”

It added: “Janet Jackson was not booked for that slot, so she decided to carve her own, brand new legends slot instead: a full-scale dance production with stage set crammed into a 50 minute slot at the arse end of Saturday afternoon.”

The singer kicked off her ‘Together Again’ tour in Florida earlier this month, showcasing a host of hits and rarities.
