Small rv park. Close to highway and perfect for an overnight stopover. Full hookups for $35. Nothing fancy but great for overnight. Owners very accommodating.

Stayed 2 nights to attend church and do a little sightseeing in the area. Sites are all asphalt and easy access. Close to highways so some road noise. Not a good location for their “dog park” which was a lot of mud and stickers.

We drove in then drove right back out. You are literally camping in a parking lot. All asphalt NO GRASS!

Super easy on/off the interstate, easy access to grocery shopping/Walmart. Their website has drone footage showing the site from air, including the interstate approaches; if you're arriving after dark, watch the video before you set it, it will be a huge help.

The park itself is stark and tight and does more business as long-term storage than camping. The sanitary hookups were a bit weird; two sewer caps to which you might think to attach, but only one is actually the sewer.

Pull thru and back-up spaces with full hook-ups available in 30 and 50 amps. Heated outdoor pool and hot tub, laundry room, showers, restrooms and WiFi. Our guests can also enjoy free access to our Fitness Center and Business Center. Or relax in our indoor pool and hot tub near the hotel front desk – always a guest favorite to unwind.

Oregon Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall

After many years of effort, a group of Oregon vets are in the final stage to have a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall from Washington DC built right here in Oregon.

The wall, complete with all 58,479 names, will be the only replica with all of the names on it west of the Mississippi River. The wall is paid for; the site is reserved. Funds are needed to for the final step – prepare the installation site and install the wall.

Navy updates base RV park policies

The Navy has changed its policies for service members and their families who wish to use RV parks on bases for long-term stays.

Navy Installations Command implemented a policy last month allowing troops to stay longer, and they won’t have to reapply every month to extend their RV park residencies at the Navy’s 42 locations, according to the Navy.

Troops will also be able to stay at their designated park spots throughout the duration of their stay.

“This may be a simple change in policy, but it is going to make a big difference to our Sailors and their families who want to stay at an RV park long term to meet their housing needs,” Joann Reyes, recreation lodging manager for the command’s fleet readiness division, said in a statement.
