Canopy Tours

In a small group, you’ll soar through the treetops from platform to platform, gliding across five zip lines and traversing four suspension-style sky bridges, all while accompanied by two expert guides. Night Flight Tours

This guided tour takes you through the same course as our popular Canopy Tour, complete with 5 zip lines and 4 sky bridges, all in the magical ambiance of the forest at night. Hocking Hills Canopy Tours in Rockbridge, Ohio is home to many exciting outdoor adventures, but nothing compares to the thrill of our first-class Original Canopy Tour! Fast, fun, and exhilarating, this 2.5 to 3 hour spectacular adventure offers nature lovers and thrill seekers alike the unique opportunity to zip through the treetops on a network of cables and adventure skybridges suspended high above the forest floor, overlooking a cave, rock cliffs, the Hocking River, and other flora and fauna!

For thrillseekers and nature lovers alike, it's the perfect adventure for families, couples seeking to escape the fast-paced city, or adults looking for something new. Designed for guests who are in reasonably good health, the Original Canopy Tour is sure to thrill first-time zippers as well as the most experienced zipline enthusiasts.

The Original Canopy Tour Pricing

Base pricing.

The cost of the Original Canopy Tour is $99 per person Monday through Thursday. The weekend rate (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) is $115 per person. Includes all necessary equipment and on site transportation.

SuperSize Your Tour

SuperSize the Original Canopy Tour for $124 per person Monday through Thursday. The weekend rate (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) is $140 per person. Includes both the Original Canopy Tour and the SuperZip for one price!

Zipline Tour FAQs

Family Plan: Kids ages 10-15 zip for $69 Monday through Thursday. Full price fare of $99 required for each kids discount, including at least one attending adult. Limit of 3 kids specials per reservation.

Local Resident Discounts: Monday through Thursday, residents of Hocking, Athens, Fairfield, Pickaway, Ross, and Vinton counties receive $25 off full price tour (proof of residency required). Please call our office to receive.

Group Rates: Available for youth and adults. Monday through Thursday only. Please call our office for more information.

• Participants must weigh between 70 and 250 pounds. Please note: Due to weight restrictions related to our outdoor activities, all participants will be weighed at check-in, on a discreet, one way scale.
• The minimum age is 10 years old. Children between the ages of 10 - 15 must be accompanied by an adult, but must be able to participate independently of the adult.
• A responsible adult must be on the grounds for all participants under the age of 15.
• Every participant must sign a Waiver and Release Form.
• Participants under the age of 18 must have a signed waiver by a parent or legal guardian. If the signer is not present, a photocopy of the signer's drivers license must accompany the signed waiver.
• Closed-toe shoes are required.
• Our activities are designed for use by participants of average mobility and strength, and who are in reasonably good health.
• No one under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing legal drugs, will be allowed to participate in the tour.
• No pregnant women will be allowed to participate in the tour.
• Hocking Hills Canopy Tours reserves the right to exclude anyone from participation for medical, safety, or other reasons.
• We have a 7 day cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation outside 7 days prior to your tour date, your payment less a $10 per person service fee will be refunded to you.
• If you need to change your reservation date or time you may do so one time, up to 7 days prior to your originally scheduled tour.
• No refunds or reschedules will be given with less than 7 days notice. Your tour reservation is transferable, so you can give it or sell it to someone else if you choose.
• If we cancel your tour due to weather or other unforeseeable conditions, we will reschedule your tour for another available time, or give you a full refund.
• If you are late, you will not receive a refund or be able to join your tour. Your tour and guide will leave as scheduled whether you are there or not. We do expect you to arrive 30 minutes prior to your reserved tour time.

Zipline Canopy Tours of Blue Ridge, Georgia

Zipline Canopy Tours of Blue Ridge is set on a 165 acres of beautiful North Georgia Mountain property. We are located at 891 Old Cashes Valley Road, only 6 miles from downtown Blue Ridge. We offer a one-hour tour with seven multiple ziplines ranging from 150 to 550 feet in length for a total of half a mile of cable. We also offer a two-hour zipline tour that features one mile of cable with 13 multiple ziplines, ranging from 150 to 1,000-feet in length and ranging from 25 - 75 feet in height. All our zipline tours are guided and require no experience. Please note that Zipline Canopy Tours is at a different location than the Blue Ridge Adventure Park...

Zipline Tours in the Blue Ridge Mountains

The property is what distinguishes a good zipline course, and the 165-acre tract of land that Blue Ridge Zipline Canopy Tours flows through is some of North Georgia's best. The course has over 6,000 feet of cable, allowing participants to zip for one mile through the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains.

My daughter of 16 years old really wanted to do this. So I agreed after reading all the reviews because I was very terrified. After the first line I wanted to go back because I was too afraid. The staff was very very nice and patient, they offered to do it together with one of them. Gabriël was my hero and I liked it very much, at the end I also did the superman!!!! Thanks guys

It was a lot of fun, especially the two superman ziplines. For the Tarzan swing, don't look, just go for it. A few people psyched themselves out and missed out. It goes by quickly, theres very little waiting for the ziplines since they have everyone moving at all times. Went by almost too quickly.

Highly recommend the canopy tour. The Superman cable is absolutely amazing. It is likely the best flight simulation available with high speeds and birds eye views of the forest below. The staff is very nice and attentive.

Great ziplines and the superman was amazing. Did feel a bit rushed even though there wasn't a tour behind us. Guides were very good. Great price. Shuttle from hotel was good and on time. Would recommend.

Tree Tops Tour

Monday-thursday: $119, friday/sunday: $139, saturday: $149.

Our Tree Tops Course is our fastest, highest and longest course. Fitted with a specially-designed harness, you’ll reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour on our fastest zips. On other elements of the course, you can savor breathtaking views of the majestic Redwood forest at a more leisurely pace. 7 zips, 2 sky bridges and a rappel round out this adventure, along with a guide who will help you see the Redwoods like you’ve never seen them before.

40 mph top speed, longest zipline is 1500 feet – oh heck yeah, 2,907 total feet – almost two thirds of a mile, guide operated brake – that’s how extreme it is, 7 ziplines, 2 sky bridges, accessible via an uphill walk – 100 steps, 45 foot final rappel.

Take flight on an Asheville Zipline Canopy Tours just minutes from downtown Asheville, yet surprisingly set amongst 150+ year old majestic white and red oak trees.  Asheville Zipline Canopy Adventures offers the best of many worlds. It is convenient and exciting with 1,200-foot side-by-side ziplines.  It is urban with views of downtown Asheville. And it is set on a 124-acre resort and designated tree preserve perched in and amongst some of the oldest and largest oak trees in Asheville. Guests will see scenic mountain views while flying through tree-lined corridors as well as enjoying spectacular views of the Asheville skyline.

The Asheville Zipline Tour includes 9 ziplines and 1 sky bridge in treetop platforms and adventure towers with mountain and skyline views of Asheville. The trip time is about 2 hours (depending on the number of guests).  

The Asheville Skyline Tour is an abbreviated version that is an opportunity to zipline down our 1,200 feet side-by-side ziplines!  The trip time is about 1 hour (depending on the number of guests) and includes 5 ziplines in total. 

Guests will start with “warm up” ziplines (called the Bunny Slopes) and then continue through the course.  Ziplines range from several hundred feet long up to the ultimate thrill of our 1,200 feet long, side-by-side ziplines, which allow you to fly with a friend.

Both of our Zipline Tours start with a Gear Up and Ground School.  Ground School is a great time to learn how to best zip our manual ziplines as you watch our guides zip on practice lines then you get to try yourself before heading up our 60-foot tower. 

Then you are ready to go! Our Zipline Guides escort you through the course, handling your gear, sharing zipline tips and the history of our area and trees, and making sure you are having fun! 

It’s a great adventure and exploration that allows you to experience Asheville from a different viewpoint!

The Telluride Canopy Adventure begins at the Telluride Adventure Center (map here) where you will be briefed with a safety video, weigh in, and get geared up. Next you will ride the Village Express Chairlift and walk to the training area. After your adventure, side by side UTVs will return you to the Mountain Village Core. Guests should arrive at the Telluride Adventure Center 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. Late arrivals may not be accommodated.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Only closed-toe shoes and boots are allowed on the Canopy Adventure. Sandals and flip flops are not permitted .
• Wear long shorts, pants, or leggings (for more comfort in the harness).
• Short-sleeved and long-sleeved shirts are most comfortable. Bring layers!
• Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a water bottle with carabiner.
• Take off all necklaces and large jewelry before arriving.
• If you bring your phone, store it in a securely zipped pocket. Should you drop your phone along the way, the guides will not be able to retrieve it! GoPro and secured cameras are recommended.
• Backpack and personal item storage is available prior to loading the chairlift.
• Use the restroom before your tour – the Canopy Adventure largely takes place on the mountain without immediate access to restroom facilities.

This Denali Zipline Tour is a World-Class Eco Adventure!

Experience exciting ziplines, suspension bridges, a rappel, and a spiral staircase on this thrilling Denali zipline tour! Your zipline adventure begins at our office in downtown Talkeetna. Check in with our friendly local staff and board the DZT shuttle for a scenic three-mile drive to the forested ridges above the mighty Susitna River Valley. Upon arrival at our course, you will meet your certified guides and get outfitted in top-quality gear. Then you head for “zipline ground school” to receive a basic orientation.

The pace of the three-hour tour is varied, mixing speed and excitement as you zip through the beautiful northern boreal forest, with time to pause and gaze out from viewing platforms and along walks across the long aerial bridges that take in Denali and the expanse of the Alaska Range.

Your guides will share Denali zipline tour educational moments about the boreal forest and topographical features including ridges, ravines, kettle ponds, and the braided Chulitna and Susitna valleys. The history of Talkeetna runs deep and includes flying and mountaineering in the Alaska Range, gold mining and the quirky local characters. Each guide has their own personal story and who knows what Alaskan tidbits you will be treated to?!

There will be numerous opportunities to glimpse the mountain vistas from the zipline, viewing platforms and suspended sky bridges, allowing ample time for picture taking.

The final and longest zip of the tour will span close to 600 feet – with most of the ride suspended over our “Reflection Pond” – landing on the final platform six feet off the ground with an easy stair exit and a short drive back to downtown Talkeetna.

What to Know and Wear

Check is required 30 minutes prior to your booked time. Closed-toed shoes are required. We recommend comfortable clothing for the current weather conditions. Alaska’s weather can change quickly, so the best advice we can give you is to dress in layers. Feel free to bring a camera along, however you will be responsible for transport, damage or loss of your own photo or video equipment. It is best to have a lanyard that can secure your equipment to your harness or to keep it in a zippered pocket.

While we do not offer a photo package, you will want to share the adventure with friends and family! Participants are more than welcome to bring their phones and cameras. Waterproof phone cases are available for purchase.

YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIMARY CONCERN

Creating an experience of a lifetime runs a close second! Our zip line adventure is one of the closest to Manuel Antonio National Park, and our price includes the longest twin zip lines in all of Costa Rica and Central America. Race your friends and family over the 4,300-foot lines high above the treetops while enjoying a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean on the horizon!

Our suspension bridges, our unique airstairs, huge towers, and our over-sized tree platforms add to the experience. You come up close and personal with many of Costa Rica’s most famous trees. Prior to trying out our short practice line, you receive a short safety orientation from our bilingual guides. During the orientation, you learn about your safety equipment and the proper position for riding the lines.

Your high-quality safety equipment includes a helmet, gloves, eye protection if you don’t have your own, harness, and three lanyards with high-quality carabiners (one lanyard is attached to the pulley, one is a backup on the line, and third is your safety line, which securely attaches you to the platforms and bridges between lines). You also carry a small, lightweight aluminum triangle. This triangle is your handle when you are zipping on the lines. This handle allows you to comfortably ride the lines without spinning around or having to touch the lines while moving. This keeps your hands and fingers safe and protected.

LATEST TECHNOLOGY

Our proprietary brake system allows you to glide on our lines without worrying about how you will control your speed. This allows you to relax and enjoy the beautiful views while zipping above, below, and through the canopy. Our platforms, bridges, lines, anchors, and infrastructure have been built to exacting standards using the highest quality materials available.

Our lines, trees, towers, anchors, and equipment are inspected for safety and proper operation daily. Our metal platforms have been built to provide stability and safety for our guests as well as for the health and vitality of the trees. Great care has been taken during construction to care for the jungle and the precious trees.

We have an ongoing reforestation project at El Santuario. Beginning in 2011, volunteers from a variety of groups joined us to begin the process to plant the tree and plant groupings most recommended for promoting, preserving, and reforesting the rainforest.

We ziplined today and it was SO cool. By far the best course I have ever done. The lines are pretty high and you catch some serious speed. The guiders were very helpful and kind. I loved how the repelling and bridges are part of the tour and not an additional fee. I highly recommend the tour!

Our guides Austin and Sarah were awesome! We lucked out with a 1:1 guide/guest ratio which allowed for more time to talk with the guides and share stories and things to do. Wonderful views of Resurrection mountains. It was a sunny day, and the temperatures in the forest were beyond perfect.

We are a family of four and this is a great family outing for a family with teenagers. Our guides, Tori & Austin were wonderful! They were very safety-minded, informative & professional but at the same time, were a lot of fun to "hang" out with.

I had a great time on my 3 hour trip with stoney creek canopy adventure!! Our guides (tripp and one with a red beard!!) were super awesome and made it so much fun!! 10/10 recommend!!

Just so you know, Punta Cana ain’t flat. A short drive from Punta Cana’s sandy, sea level, beaches takes you to the Dominican Republic’s Oriental Mountain Range. Known for its steep hills and deep valleys, the Oriental Mountains practically lend themselves to genuine Zip Lining.

• The Transport – The ride is part of the tour. From your hotel we head north into the Orientals. See small country communities and admire the rolling green hills of our eastern mountain chain.
• The Course – The Zip Line course was developed by Costa Rican experts. platforms sit strategically on tropical hillsides, with interconnecting lines that transverse the lush valley floor.
• The Hike – Set within a tropical forest, each platform is connected by walking trails. So, after each heart pumping Zip Line take a stroll and take in the Caribbean scenery before Zipping again!
• The Thrill – In case you forgot..Zip Lining consists of being strapped into a harness and flung hundreds of feet above the ground at upwards of 40 mph.
