Tri-Town Sno Travellers

Come discover the wonderful world of snowmobiling in the beautiful North! We are the Tri Town Sno Travellers and our club is part of the Timiskaming Abititi Trail Association; District 14 of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs.

Our trails cover the area from Temagami North to the Quebec border, just north of the New Liskeard area.

Our local motels provide a great place to park your vehicle, drop off your sled and further explore and enjoy the Northern Trails. This is the South Eastern tip of District 14.

Unique to our Club is a warm, family oriented atmosphere: the Northern Way!

Tri-Town Sno Travellers Trail

With the drastic rise in snowmobiling as a recreational past time in the early to mid 1960’s responsible individuals recognized the immediate need to group together and provide some direction to this new found sport. As a result, this group was formed in 1968 to provide information and instructions on the safe use and handling of snowmobiles.

Before you head out, please check to make sure that the trails are available, using the  OFSC's Interactive Trail Guide .  

This is one of the premiere touring routes in Ontario , offering some of the most diverse trails and scenery in the world. The 710 km route, located in Northeastern Ontario, covers the Top A trail to the A107C, Top C to A111C, to Top A and then back to New Liskeard on the A108.

The Gold Rush Tour was created in the 1990’s by snowmobile club pacesetter Mike Farr and fellow volunteers. This tour will take you from the wide open agriculture expanses of Temiskaming shores through the deep and rugged forests, and ecologically memorable Elk Lake, and over and along vast hydro corridors that lead to both historic and operating gold mines in Shining Tree, Timmins and Kirkland Lake.

The scenery is unmatched and unrivalled, offering opportunities for photos that will make your Facebook or Instagram feed go viral. The Gold Rush tour offers multifarious trail elements, creating a diverse and ever-changing ride. The distinctiveness of the trails on this loop, mingled with the impressive industrial mining spectacles, make the Gold Rush Tour a one of a kind!

Welcome to Tri Town Ski & Snowboard Village

The Tri Town Ski Village has been a vibrant part of our community for over 60 years. It originated in the 1960’s and has been a landmark in Temiskaming ever since.  Our not for profit club is run by a volunteer board of directors and a dedicated group of volunteers and supporters who work hard to prepare the hill, raise funds and promote our facility within the community.

Our goal is to provide a facility for outdoor activity and a destination for winter recreation. We strive to provide a sense of community and a warm, family friendly atmosphere to those who enjoy the sports of downhill skiing and snowboarding.

With approximately 320’ of vertical, the hill offers a fantastic view of Lake Temiskaming and includes terrain styles for everyone, from easy greens to difficult black diamonds.  The T bar offers a quick ride to the top and the handle tow in the beginner area provides an easy way to learn riding the lift half way up the hill.

The Ski Village offers season memberships, full day and half day passes (3 hour flex). We provide equipment rentals at affordable family-friendly rates. We provide quality instruction through group and private lessons and have a cozy chalet with a woodstove upstairs, a canteen, lunch area and birthday party room. Come and join us on the slopes. We look forward to seeing you there!
